  • Recently, the multistory building construction of reinforced concrete has increased year by year, trended to be high rise in the view of effective land use planning, costing down of building construction and residential conditions. For this urgent need in construction industry, research and development of workability and engineering properties of high strength concrete has been closed up as one of the big world wide problems to be solved reasonably. It is aim of this study to provide the fundamental data the workability and engineering properties of steel-fiber reinforced high strength concrete containing silica-fume and fly-ash comparing with plain concrete for the practical use and research data accumulation in the side of development of new material in the building construction.

  • Recently, the internal space organization of the building changes to the frame construction and flat slab construction in the wall type structure. And the use of light weight panel changing the internal joint use easily is increased. Therefore, in this research, the length change characteristic that the magnesium chloride addition rate reaches to the magnesium curing body tries to be studied. It could confirm according to the length change specific result that the magnesium chloride amount of addition reaches to the magnesium oxide curing body to expand. And the thing described below was the large-scale expansion the magnesium oxide addition rate 60%. And it showed up as 50, 40, 30, 20, and order of 10s (%). It could look at to form the hydrate of the SEM picture result needle-shaped of the Hardened.

  • A temporary work are lifting equipment that tower crane or lift, and temporary architectures that office building and storage in construction site. And it is main construction work that built and used temporarily like to a scaffolding, a walk plate, and a formwork. This study is to adjust breakdown structure of temporary work to introduce technical tendency. With a site manager, it is collected a detailed statement and compared. As a result to break down a tendency that temporary equipment, additional function, and direct work of temporary technique, first, existing detail technical indexes that group I, group J, group K, and group L are classified. Second, due to set up and manage to main agents in case of existing detail technical indexes that B1, B2, it is not wrong to classify. But, it is somewhat different, and therefore adjust it to same level. Finally, as a technical tendency that temporary equipment, additional function, and direct work of temporary technique, it is adjusted the others.

  • Estimates based on BIM makes it possible to perform from quantity take-off to construction cost estimates by using model, which is made in the phase of design and construction. As the BIM models are made up of the units of element, there an advantage of the automative quantity take-off, if the correction or change of element occurs. Work items, not included in the elements of the BIM model, are excepted from bill of quantity. Level of detail(LoD) of the BIM model can be improved for detailed estimates, but an excessive modeling for estimates is inefficient. This study presents the measure for selection and quantity take-off of work items, those are not expressed in the BIM model. The proposed method avoids the creation of excessive BIM Models and enables quantity take-off in conjunction with the element.

  • In general, nuclear power plant concrete structure's performance has been very good with the majority of identified problems initiating during construction and corrected at that time. This study is experiments to improve drying shrinkage using glycol ether-based material for the durability of nuclear power plants. Thus, this study evaluated the obtained data from a mock up test for the practical use of concrete containing glycol ether. According to the results of this study, the concrete showed resistance performance of around 40% to drying shrinkage.

  • 최근 비정형 건축물의 관심과 수요가 증가하면서 비정형 건축물 시공기술에 관한 중요도가 높아지고 있다. 그러나 국내의 비정형 콘크리트 부재 시공기술은 거푸집으로 제작하는 것에 많은 시공기간과 공사비용이 소요된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비정형 콘크리트 부재 생산 시 생산기간을 단축하고 비용을 절감할 수 있는 LOM 방식의 3D 프린터를 이용한 비정형 콘크리트 부재 생산 프로세스를 제시하고, Mock-up test를 통해 생산프로세스의 타당성을 검증하였다. 연구결과, 본 생산 프로세스는 기존 강재 거푸집을 이용한 시공기술 대비 약 47.8% 제작기간 단축 효과와 56.2%의 비용절감 효과가 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과인 3D 프린터를 이용한 비정형 콘크리트 부재 생산 프로세스는 비정형 콘크리트 부재 생산의 생산성 향상을 비롯한 비정형 건축물 시공의 새로운 공법활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The supply chain in plant construction project can be defined as a network combined between elements which is engineering, procurement, construction, start-up. For successfully leading construction project, close relation and mutual cooperation should be preceded and Supply Chain Management(SCM) system is needed to improve the relation. In particular, because safety is a top priority for the companies work in the construction of Nuclear Power Plant(NPP), it is necessary to control all parties realated with NPP construction systematically. In this situation, it is important to purchase high-quality equipment in timely manner by developing Integrated cooperative systems. Therefore, this study aimed to propose developing solutions of SCM such as JIT and Envelop Design system, which can reduces difficulties of decision making between the parties involved in the project and will increase the efficiency of the engineering process in NPP.

  • Information Technology (IT) makes a great contribution towards improvement of productivity in construction industry. Because most of researches of construction industry's IT are focused on the whole field of the industry or development of information system, however, these have no regard for conditions in fields. Thus, this study proposes the requirements in order to improve the productivity and efficiency of field execution of construction industry. To achieve this aim, the surveys are conducted of the problems and conditions of IT application on site workers and managers. As a result, the followings are suggested: (1) user training should be exercised continuously, (2) infrastructure of IT constructed, (3) total management system of field execution developed, and (4) the development of IT system focused on fields. Therefore, this study provides meaningful proposal that can be set up basic direction toward IT investment and IT system development.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the HwaSungSungYoukEuGye' management technic in viewpoint of today's construction management. In the record, there are a lot of informtion relate to record management, time management, cost management, etc. and the concept of the managements can be applied to today's construction project effectively. The concept and detail of the HwaSungSungYouk's project management should be analysed more.

기존 건축물의 에너지 효율화 리트로핏 패키지 방안 (Energy efficiency retrofit package plan for existing buildings)

  • In the past few decades, the global population growth and rapid economic development have resulted in significant increases in building energy consumption. To reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and building energy consumption, building materials and energy technologies must be optimized. Building retrofitting is a more efficient method than reconstruction to improve the building energy performance. In order to improve the energy performance of existing buildings, this study proposed energy-efficiency retrofit plans and derived cost-effective retrofit plan. The energy efficient retrofit method is achieved through the packaging of energy technology and the energy and cost reduction effect of the energy efficiency retrofit package are analyzed. As a result of the study, the energy-efficiency retrofit package showed an energy reduction effect of up to 60% or more and a construction cost reduction of about 30%. This study argues that optimal energy and construction cost reduction of existing buildings are possible through the packaging of energy efficiency technology.
