Due to various project delivery methods and the complexity of construction projects in the construction industry, developing the framework of construction management for critical, highly complex projects in the construction industry has become problematic. Currently, a set of construction manuals play a pivotal role in planning and managing construction projects as subcontractors try to complete their scope of work according to the instructions of a general contractor. It is challenging for general contractors to write a construction management procedure manual to cover various types of project delivery methods and construction projects. In construction, the construction procedure manuals describe specific actions to be taken through the project. In reality a few contactors own such manuals and their construction schedules include more construction operation activities. Thus, it is hard to estimate the workload and productivity of construction managers because the manual and the schedule do not present the amount of management efforts required to complete a project. This paper proposes a framework to present construction management tasks according to project delivery methods which can be applied to various construction projects. Actions for management tasks were mapped and were integrated with construction activities throughout the project life cycle. The framework can then be used to give specific instructions to project participants, collect management actions, and replicate management actions throughout the project life cycle. The framework can also be can used to visualize complete construction project to analyze and manage construction management activities in each phase of a project in order to enhance productivity and efficiency. The studies of existing construction manuals were carried out to identify construction managers' responsibilities. An artificial intelligence program, CLIPS (C-Language Integrated Production System) was used to search for appropriate actions for impending tasks from a set of predefined actions to be performed for a given situation. The framework would significantly help construction managers to understand interrelations among management tasks or actions within a project. Furthermore, the framework can be embedded into Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Facility Management Systems (FMS) so that designers and constructors would execute constructability review before construction begins.
ODA is an effort and action of international community to keep human rights by eradicating poverty. UN declared MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) during 2001 and 2015. As a follow-up action, UN sets up SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) during 2016 and 2030. SDGs expands the concept of ODA. SDGs includes cooperation development over the scope of ODA by mobilizing various financial resources from public sectors and private sectors. It will overcome the limitation of traditional ODA and be 'AID and beyond'. Catalytic aid is appropriate for the concept of SDGs. Cooperation development by catalytic aid focuses on building economic infrastructure and production facilities rather than humanitarian aid, which will establish a sustainable development basis for recipient countries. This study suggests to make a PPP business by linking KSP(Knowledge Sharing Program), to objectify criteria of priority recipient selection and aid allocation, to adapt grant and concessional loan complexly according to the business, to support realization of CSV(Creating Shared Value) by establishing SPC(Special Purpose Company) and to construct a PCSD(Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development) system to fulfill the fore-mentioned strategies.
This research focused on the regional and temporal attributes of tuff architecture in Mokpo, spanning the Japanese colonial period and the post-liberation era. It aimed to uncover the distinct regional and temporal features of tuff architecture by integrating concepts from vernacular architecture and regionalism, framed through a lens of critical regionalism. The study traced the historical progression of tuff architecture in Mokpo within this context. A significant part of the research was an in-depth analysis of four constructions by Son Yang-dong, a renowned technician in post-liberation Mokpo, to closely examine the contemporary relevance and regional significance of his work. Tuff, as an indigenous material, distinctly articulates the local architectural character. In line with regional properties of tuff, the material has adeptly responded to contemporary construction needs. This has laid a foundation for the development of innovative building designs and techniques. Tuff architecture is particularly noted for its exhibition of raw material textures, offering a unique aesthetic that diverges from classical Western architectural styles. Importantly, through the examination of Son Yang-dong's contributions, the study highlights the role of Korean builders in an industry dominated by Japanese influences during the colonial period, underscoring a strong regional identity. As a representation of Mokpo, tuff architecture not only upholds and protects regional identity within the broader scope of Western modernization and Japanese impacts but also plays a role in its progressive enhancement.

There has been a growing interest in halal-related ontology research in recent years, as ontology has gained recognition in the halal industry. This paper discusses the development of a flavouring ontology that will assist halal management auditors in predicting the halal status of flavours in order to process food producers' applications for halal certification. The development of a flavouring ontology is based on multiple references, because the auditors of halal management divisions must consult a variety of sources independently in order to determine the halal status of flavourings. The process includes 1) determining the ontology goal and scope, 2) building ontologies, and 3) evaluating the ontologies. The researcher used Protégé to design the ontologies, and Phyton was used to develop a prototype based on flavouring ontology. The developed ontology consists of four classes, nine sub-classes, and 11 relationships. The evaluation of the ontology using the prototype revealed that the majority of experts were satisfied with the information generated by the ontology in the prototype, particularly in relation to synonyms and the hierarchical structure of a flavour. However, the experts suggest improvements in terms of flavour metadata, especially on raw materials and natural occurrence data, so that the flavour information retrieved is comprehensive and accurate.

This study presented basic data to be collected by the National Library for the Disabled in preparation for the construction of an independent library building and expansion of its scope. Due to legal and practical limitations, the National Library for the Disabled must invest annual budget to collect materials for the disabled and focus on purchasing them. In addition, it is necessary to establish a strategy for comprehensive collection of educational and academic resources, as well as retrospective materials. Accordingly, this study conducted basic research to comprehensively collect resources on the disabled based on the current collection development policy of the National Library for the Disabled. Ten institutions were selected for investigation, and trends in the publication and collection of materials related to disabled people and disability-related data were analyzed based on the data obtained from those institutions. The basic collection catalog presented can serve as foundational data to determine the resources to be collected by the National Library for the Disabled in the future.

As buildings increase in height, lifting plans are becoming increasingly important on construction sites. As a critical piece of load-lifting equipment, the tower crane deserves a well thought-out stability review, since it has a significant impact and is very vulnerable to structural safety disaster. To ensure the structural stability of a tower crane, its lateral support or pile supported foundation designs must include consideration for stability, and pile foundation must be used if site conditions prevent soil from providing the required bearing capacity, or prevent the foundation from being increased to the required extent. Pile supported foundation design requires thorough and systematic review, as more stability parameters need to be considered than with an independent foundation. This paper intends to develop an optimal design algorithm that can minimize associated costs while ensuring the fundamental stability of pile supported foundation design, limiting the scope of research to fixed-type trolley tower cranes using pile supported foundations. The findings herein on pile foundation stability review parameters, process and optimal design are expected to improve the operational efficiency of staff concerned, and reduce the time and efforts required for pile foundation design.

In construction field, it used various technique for concrete formwork. Part of them, non-destructive test has been conducted to estimate a compressive strength of concrete easily such as rebound method and ultrasonic pulse velocity method etc. Former research has recommend proposed equation based on experimental data to investigate strength of concrete but it was sometimes deferent actual value of that from in field because of the few of data in case of early strength concrete. In this study, an experiment was conducted to analyze strength properties for early strength concrete using cylinder mold and $1,000mm{\times}1,000mm{\times}200mm$ rectangular specimen. And compressive strength of concrete was tested by non-destructive test, and calculated by the equation proposed former research. As a result, the non-destructive test results showed approximately 70 percent of the failure test value for all conditions, and worse reliability was obtained for high strength concrete samples when the ultrasonic pulse velocity method was used. Based on the scope of this study, the experimental equation for estimating compressive strength of early strength concrete from 24MPa to 60MPa was proposed.

Volcanic ash from volcanic eruptions spreads to vast areas hundreds of kilometers away, and when volcanic ash flows into surface waters, it will be damaged by water supply. In case of water supply facilities, it provides to people drinking water and domestic water, be consumed by the people cause social disorder when water supply is cut off due to damage such as water pollution caused by harmful materials of volcanic ash. However, when we looked at the disaster management manual, the establishment of a water supply facility manual to deal with the damage of volcanic ash was found to be insufficient. Therefore, in this study, the existing volcanic and water pollution related manuals were analyzed and problems were derived. In order to make quick situation judgment and response activities, we have suggested the scope of the water supply facility manual, disaster type, major missions and system of related organizations, and scenario of crisis situation by disaster type.
The purpose of this study is to examine the changing process of the collective housing in Korea; focusing on the alteration process of the apartment housing, which became a representative housing type in Korea, nowadays. The alteration process of the apartment housing in Korea can be divided into three stages: the introduction stage, the trial stage and the settled stage. The introduction stage is the period between 1920, when the collective-housing buildings were constructed in Korea for the first time, and the Liberation of Korea(1945). The trial stage is the period between 1945 and 1975. During this period, common housing has been constructed. And the massive apartment buildings were started to be supplied after 1975. The settled stage is the period between 1975 and the present. The main scope of this study will be the introduction and trial stages, since a lot of in-depth studies have been executed on the settled stage. The history of the collective housing of Korea starts with City Housing of Seoul, in 1921. It is guessed that this housing was to be small-sized and row-housing type. The first-built, apartment-type building, in Korea, was Mikuni Apartment House, which was constructed as a boarding room of Mikuni Company. In the introduction stage, apartment buildings were built by Japanese architects, with Japanese housing style. Most of them were planned in dormitory type, and some of them were run as tenant houses. Most of them were constructed by bricks, but sometimes by timbers. Tadami was laid in every room and inside-corridor was located in the middle of the house. Although the major style of the apartment buildings was Japanese, the Korean dwellers of those apartments has been influencing the housing type of them. In the trial stage, apartment housing has been experienced in diverse ways. With the development of building technology, floor heating system was settled in apartment housing. This improved the amenities of apartment dwelling remarkably. Although some heterogeneous characteristics still remained in the apartments of Korea, in terms of housing style, the housing style of apartments has been changed into own style of Korea, in accordance with Korean people's life style. The results of this study give us some good implications regarding contemporary housing plan: First, if the unit size of a collective housing is small, the more space could be available for community activities. Second, when planning of collective housing, more concerns should be payed on surroundings. Third, more attention should be payed about low-rise apartment housing, and more land-friendly planning would be required.

This study is to investigate the fundamental and fireproof qualities of high strength concrete corresponding to changes in the curing factors and the PP fiber ratio. The results were as follows. For the fundamental characteristics of concrete, the fluidity was reduced in proportion to the increase in the PP fiber ratio. The compressive strength was somewhat reduced according to an increase in the PP fiber ratio. However, it had the high strength scope of more than 60 MPa at 7 days and of more than 90 MPa at 28 days. On the spalling mechanism followed by changes of the water content ratio, spalling was prevented in all combinations, except the specimen without PP fiber and subjected to 3.0% of moisture contents. When spalling was prevented at that time, the residual compressive strength ratio was 22%~41% and the mass reduction ratio was 5%~7%, which was relatively favorable. As the spalling mechanism corresponds to changes in the curing method, spalling was prevented in concrete with a PP fiber mixing ratio of more than 0.05% in the event of standard curing, and in concrete with a PP fiber mixing ratio of more than 0.10% in the case of steam curing and autoclave curing. In these cases, when spalling was prevented, the residual compressive strength ratio was 23~42% and the mass reduction ratio was 7~11%. In these results, the ease of spalling prevention in high strength concrete was inversely proportional to the water content ratio. Depending on the curing method, spalling was prevented in concrete with over 0.05% PP fiber with standard curing and in concrete with over 0.1% PP fiber with steam curing and autoclave curing.
