이중 버블시트 및 수화발열량차 공법에 의한 한중매스콘크리트의 현장적용 연구 (A Case Study on Field Construction of Cold Weather Mass Concreting Using Double Bubble Sheets and Hydration Heat Difference Method)

  • The test result of mat concrete applying both hydration heat difference and insulation curing method on new construction of Cheongju university educational building are summarized as following. Both fresh concrete and compressive strength properties were satisfied In aimed value. Setting time of concrete incorporating 15% of fly ash(FA) retarded 1.2 hour than control concrete. Temperature history of mali concrete indicated that the highest temperature of center was exhibited at $126^{\circ}C$ after 51 hours while the highest temperature of upper section was $10.6^{\circ}C$ after 46 hours. Temperature Difference between center and surface was managed at less than $6^{\circ}C$ during whole curing period. In addition the temperature of upper section secured more than $3.3^{\circ}C$ while the temperature of outside was indicated at less than $-10^{\circ}C$. Maturity by parts of construction secured more than $30^{\circ}C$ DD higher than outside at 3 days. The more number of times, applying insulation curing method by double bubble sheets, increased, the higher economic effect was secured. Overall it was clear that applying both double bubble sheets and hydration heat difference method on this new construction can resist hydration heat crack, early frost demage and strength decrease. It also significantly contributed quality improvement of cold weather concreting

  • In this study, using the double bubble sheet to anti-freezing method in winter the soil embanking Mock up as a part of the development process was carried out. As results, two layers of the double bubble sheet effect 12.6℃~13.8℃ temperature difference of out door temperature that proved superior insulation and thermal performance of the double bubble sheet.

  • This study investigates the effect of a protective layer on the level of carbonation resistance of concrete. For the protective layer, a PE film, bubble sheets, double layered bubble sheets and styroform were placed in a mold before placing the concrete. In addition, PE film was retrofitted by attaching on the surface of the substrate concrete with a glue. Results showed that the carbonation depths of the control concrete were 4.6 mm and 5.2 mm at one week and two weeks exposure in an accelerated carbonation chamber, whereas the concrete with all types of protective layer except PE flim did not allow the ingress of carbon dioxide during the same period.

  • This study investigates the temperature history of slab mock-up specimens for hot weather concreting applying various surface insulating methods, in order to improve concrete quality at hot weather condition. Test showed that the use of insulating blanket or a bubble sheet on upper section of slab prevented from abrupt increase of temperature and vaporization of moisture during early curing at hot weather circumstance. In addition, it secured higher strength at early age. Therefore it is concluded that concrete construction insulating with the bubble sheet will reduce the plastic and drying shrinkage as well as improve strength at early age, thus securing concrete duality.

  • This study aims to analyze the properties of the temperature change in vertical reinforcements in outdoor wall structures in winter in relation to the different methods of bubble sheet installation, and to subsequently determine the possibility of initial frost damage to the concrete as a result of low temperature. As for the experimental variables, double bubble sheets were used as curing materials, and the curing method was to model the part where the slab and the wall intersect and the rebar is exposed, and to measure the change of temperature around the exposed rebar in accordance with the change of the coating curing. It was found that by employing curing method B, which is to install the bubble sheet between the vertical reinforcements, the most vulnerable area, which is 50mm below(④) the surface of the concrete, would be lowered to sub-zero temperature 20 hours later than when using curing method A, and that therefore it is more effective to install the bubble sheet between the vertical reinforcements for the prevention of initial frost damage.

  • 본 연구는 한중환경에서 이중 버블시트를 이용한 단열보온 양생 공법을 슬래브 및 매스 콘크리트에 활용한 결과를 검토한 것이다. 먼저, 이중 버블시트를 적용한 경우 타설 후 2일까지 외기온이 영하$9^{\circ}C$까지 강하하는 경우에도 슬래브콘크리트는 영상 $6^{\circ}C$에서 $10^{\circ}C$이상을 유지하여 초기동해가 방지됨을 알 수 있었고, 매스콘크리트의 경우에는 중심부 최고온도와 표층부 최고온도차이가 $6^{\circ}C$이하로 나타나 내부구속에 의한 수화열 균열은 발생하지 않은 것으로 판단된다. 본 현장에 적용된 이중버블시트를 이용한 단열보온양생 공법은 동절기 영하에서도 안정된 양생온도 관리로 초기동해를 방지할 수 있었고, 소요강도를 확보할 수 있었다. 또한, 가시설의 설치 해체 공정을 줄여 공기단축 효과와 인건비절감등 양생비용의 감소로써 한중콘크리트의 품질확보에 우수한 효과가 있음과 동시에 단열 양생공법의 경제성이 입증되었다.

  • In this study, light-heat generating materials were produced in two ways, and the performance of two light-generating insulation sheets was reviewed. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to confirm the improved heating performance of the light heating insulation sheet compared to the existing bubble sheet. The light heat insulation sheet (b) showed improved thermal properties compared to the existing bubble sheet, and it is believed that the temperature has increased due to the combined effect of initial hydration heat and heat generation after installation. In future studies additional experiments are needed to compensate for the insufficient insulation performance due to the single bubble sheet through the double bubble sheet and to adjust the amount of light-generating materials added as a consideration of the optimal heat-generating effect of the light-generating insulation sheet (b).

  • This study is to investigate the temperature history over time of the cement mortar to confirm the bubble sheet insulation effect using the heat generat sheet. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the heating effect was 6℃ higher on average than other types of sheets when the heating sheet is attached on the bottom of the double layered bubble sheet. For future research, it is planned to verify the heating performance by using the heating sheet under the same environmental conditions as the heating performance will be verified.

  • Experimental test results of field construction, Cheongju University Educational Liberal Art Building, applying the insulating curing method on slab concrete showed that the quality of concrete in fresh and hardened state satisfied all target values. Temperature history of slab concrete in A and B area secured more than $7.8{\sim}9.2^{\circ}C$ higher than outside atmosphere. After completing certain curing period of time on the surface of the structure, crack occurrence was not found. It is concluded that the preventing vaporization of moisture by the insulating curing method reduces plastic and drying shrinkage as welt as improves durability.
