This paper attempts to measure the impact of non-financial factors including analyst practices and broker resources on performance of sell side research. Results reveal that these non-financial factors have a measurable impact on performance of target price forecasts. Number of pages written by an analyst (surrogate for analyst practice) is significantly and directly linked with target price accuracy indicating a more elaborate analyst produces better target price forecasts. Analyst compensation (surrogate for broker resource) is significantly and inversely linked with target price accuracy. Out performance by analysts working with lower paying firms is possibly associated with motivation to migrate to higher paying broking firms. The study finds that employing more number of analysts per research report has no significant impact on target price accuracy -negative coefficient indicates that team work may not result in better target price forecasts. Though insignificant, long term forecast horizon negatively affects target price accuracy while stock volatility improves target price accuracy.

그리드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 자원 관리는 이기종의 자원들 사이에서 통합과 상호작용을 위해 필수적이다. 이 논문은 자원관리의 복잡한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 집중화된 브로커 기반과 분산화된 브로커 기반 모델링의 자원 관리 기법을 논하고 그리드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 분산화된 브로커 기반 자원 관리 모델링의 설계와 구현을 표현한다. 이 모델은 글로벌 자원 브로커와 로컬 자원 브로커로 이루어지고 우리는 통신의 감소와 로컬 자원 브로커를 사용한 작업 관리의 기능적인 분산을 이끌어낸다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 자원 활용도와 평균 응답 시간의 향상을 보여주고 이 모델이 사용자 요구에 즉각 응답하고 자원의 활용도를 향상시킨다는 것을 증명한다.

터널 브로커(Tunnel Broker)는 IPv6 주소환경에서 전용 서버를 구축하고, 사용자의 터널 요청을 자동으로 관리하는 방법이다. 이 개념은 IPv6의 호스트 증가를 시뮬레이션하거나 IPv6 네트워크에 쉽게 접근하는데 유용하다. 그러나 기존의 터널 브로커는 악의의 사용자의 네트워크 자원과 서비스에 대한 공격에 취약하다 따라서 이러한 터널 브로커의 보호문제를 극복하기 위해 본 논문에서는 TSP(Tunnel Setup Protocol) 기반 안전한 IPv6 터널 브로커를 제안한다 클라이언트와 TB구간에서 서로 통신하기 위해 HTTP에 기초하기 않고 SHTTP(Secure HTTP)에 기초하며, XML 메시지를 송수신시 암호화/복호화 하여 통신한다. 마지막으로 클라이언트와 터널 서버사이에서는 IPSec을 적용하여 중요한 정보를 암호화 및 복호화한다.

The emergence of technologies like Big data analytics, Industrial Internet of Things, Internet of Things, and applicability of these technologies in various domains leads to increased demand in the underlying execution environment. The demand may be for compute, storage, and network resources. These demands cannot be effectively catered by the conventional cloud environment, which requires an integrated environment. The task of finding an appropriate service provider is tedious for a service consumer as the number of service providers drastically increases and the services provided are heterogeneous in the specification. A service broker is essential to find the service provider for varying service consumer requests. Also, the service broker should be smart enough to make the service providers best fit for consumer requests, ensuring that both service consumer and provider are mutually beneficial. A service broker in an integrated environment named Global Manager is proposed in the paper, which can find an appropriate service provider for every varying service consumer request. The proposed Global Manager is capable of identification of parameters for service negotiation with the service providers thereby making the providers the best fit to the maximum possible extent for every consumer request. The paper describes the architecture of the proposed Global Manager, workflow through the proposed algorithms followed by the pilot implementation with sample datasets retrieved from literature and synthetic data. The experimental results are presented with a few of the future work to be carried out to make the Manager more sustainable and serviceable.

A grid computing environment is one in which applications can be built over multiple resource nodes at widespread geographic locations. Grid environments seek to integrate and enable access to widely distributed compute resources. The compute resources in a grid environment are typically heterogeneous, with varying qualify and availability Hence, how computations are allocated to individual resources is extremely important in the design of a grid. This paper j\ulcorners concerned with resource management for metacomputing. We describe a resource management architecture using the two-level resource broker.

대부분의 웹 기반의 교육 시스템은 교육 정보 제공에만 중점을 두고 있다. 웹이 점차 교육 정보를 제공하는 보편적인 기반이 되어 감에 따라서, 웹은 이제 정보 제공의 차원을 넘어 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 플랫폼으로 변모하고 있다. 이에 새롭게 변화된 웹 환경에 맞는 교육 서비스 모델이 시급히 요청되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 웹 기반 교육의 여러 한계성을 해결하기 위하여 새로운 기능형 중재자 기반의 교육자원 서비스 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문의 기능형 중재자기반의 교육자원 서비스 시스템은 웹상에 산재되어 있는 교육 자원들을 효율적으로 관리하고 사용자의 요청에 맞는 교육 서비스 정보를 제공하여 줌으로써, 교육 서비스 자원들의 재사용 효율과 생산성을 높일 수 있다.

When users access to use the computing resources in the cloud, they expect specific quality of service (QoS) which should be guaranteed by the service provider. Meanwhile, the service provider should adopt proper schemes to enhance the resource utilization. In this thesis, we propose the MapChem-Broker which aims to satisfy users' QoS requirements as well as enhance the resource utilization by controlling the provision of VM resources in the cloud. On the experimental cloud testbed, we compare the proposed scheme with an existing one for VM resource provisioning. Results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing one.

유비쿼터스 환경의 등장으로 스마트폰이 보급되고 다양한 콘텐츠에 대한 수요가 급증하게 되었다. 따라서 한정된 자원을 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 방안 중 하나로 차세대 무선통신 기술인 인지무선 기술이 그 대안으로 여겨지고 있다. 스펙트럼 감지나 접근 기술뿐만 아니라 한정된 스펙트럼 자원에서 VoIP 트래픽 서비스를 부사용자들에게 만족스럽게 제공하는 것도 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 본 논문에서는 인지무선 네트워크에서 VoIP QoS 보장을 위한 자원 할당 및 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 먼저 네트워크 구조를 고려한 시간 구조를 시스템 모델로 제안하였고, 그 구조에 따라 대역 브로커를 결정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한, 대역 브로커가 추정한 가용 대역폭 정보를 바탕으로 대역 브로커가 부사용자들의 연결 요청을 수락 제어하는 방법을 제안하였다. 실험 결과, PU 채널 이용률과 PU 채널의 개수, 그리고 타임슬롯의 길이가 VoIP QoS 보장에 지대한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

피어-투-피어(P2P) 시스템은 참여하는 사용자가 소유하고 있는 리소스를 서로 간에 공유하여 많은 이득을 얻을 수 있게 해준다. 그러나 사용자들이 악의적인 행동을 하거나 오프라인일 때, P2P 시스템이나 응용 프로그램들은 정상적인 서비스를 제공하는데 문제가 발생 할 수 있다. 소액 지불 시스템을 이용하여 서비스 제공에 대해 보상을 해준다면 이러한 문제를 해결하는데 도움이 될 수 있다. 지금까지 대부분의 소액 지불 시스템은 중앙 집중화 된 브로커를 사용하는데, 브로커에 많은 부하를 발생시키는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 예를 들어, 코인의 소유자가 오프라인인 경우 브로커가 소유자를 대신하여 지불 정보를 처리하는데 이는 브로커의 부하를 증가시키는 주요 원인이며 P2P 시스템 특성상 매우 빈번하게 발생 할 수밖에 없다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 DPay는 P2P 환경을 위한 소액 지불 시스템으로, 분산 해시 테이블을 이용하여 모든 암호화된 지불 정보를 안전하게 기록하고 다운타임 프로토콜을 사용하지 않음으로써 브로커의 부하를 획기적으로 감소시켜 시스템의 확장성을 크게 향상 시킨 시스템이다. 또한 실시간 중복 결제 검출 방법을 제안하고, DPay와 기존 지불 시스템 간의 비교와 실험 결과를 제시한다. 실험결과 DPay는 브로커의 부하가 기존 시스템 대비 평균 30%로 줄어든 것으로 나타났으며, 실시간 중복 결제 검출과 보다 안전한 지불 정보 기록을 가능하게 하여 다양한 P2P 시스템에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Price of Used Vessel is Key-point of Ship trading but it is very troublesome part. Because it is different from the Seller and the Buyer's caculated price, It is appropriated by The Sellers and The Buyers' mutual agreement. In case of the Buyers. it is difficult in calculating price of used ship without entrusting the ship broker, beca- use evaluation method of secondhanded vessel has not formulated and the ship broker has experientially computed Remain Value of used vessel. For this work, structure of ship trading market, trading flow, the factor of price composition and Affecting factor of price is reviewed, and it examined relationship with price. On these base, a computer software integrated database system and object-oriented technique is developed. The developed system is expected helpful to evaluation of remain value of the used vessel.
