  • The daylight responsive dimming systems, which use daylight and automatically controls the brightness of electric lighting, according to the amount of daylight coming into the indoor, as well as always maintains target illuminance, is an energy saving type system. The control slope that decide the dimming percent for dimming ballast to run this system efficiently should be decided exactly. This research ran performance assessment applying daylight responsive dimming systems to actual space, and supplemented control slope in the sky condition for the elevation of system. Also we revaluated a system by modified control slope and compiled valid propriety and alternative for the elevation system.

  • This paper implement an Camcorder NTSC camera autofocus control system on the DSP Board. The information of camera lens control obtain the only brightness simple image processing from the NTSC camcoder camera image. The exact focus makes the exact boundaries. The camera lens control that the increase sum of the useful ingredient values. Useful value obtained experiment value. Also noise is except because a big value of the ingredients so that obtained focus more accurate value.

  • LEDs are becoming the most suitable candidate replacing traditional fluorescent street-light lamps because of its energy efficiency and high brightness. Furthermore, most countries are urging to pursue energy savings in conjunction with IT and sensor network. In order to conserve energy of LED lamp and ensure the safety of pedestrian, we propose a new smart control method for LED light system based on USN using compound sensors, such as illuminance, motion, temperature and humidity sensor. An elaborate simulation shows that the proposed system with a smart control based switching can reduce the energy by 40%, compared to the previous street-light system with a fixed time based switching.

  • In this paper, we propose smart emotional lighting control system based on the android platform. The proposed smart emotional lighting control system be configure android platform and sensibility lighting equipment, expansion device, zigbee module. Smart emotional lighting control system based on the android platform is automatic control possible using the illumination sensor, and by selecting the desired lighting partial control can be designed. The experimental results of the proposed smart emotional lighting control sensitivity than conventional lighting control system decreased the power consumption and efficient lighting control was possible. Office acts will be suitable conditions to control the color and brightness, so they can be controlled from the improves concentration and ability to work.

  • This paper proposes a new image processing algorithm to recognize korean documents. It take out the region of text area form input image, then it makes esgmentation of lines, words and characters in the text. A precision segmentation is very important to recognize the input document. The input image has 8-bit gray scaled resolution. Not only the histogram but also brightness dispersion graph are used for segmentation. The result shows a higher accuracy of document recognition.

  • A novel 2-dimensional matched filter of the parallel-jaw type using fuzzy logics is proposed for bin picking. Specifically, averaged pixel intensity of the windowed region for the filtering is considered to be fuzzy. Also membership function for darkness and brightness are designed by employing the intensite histogram of image. Then a rule is given to know how much a windowed region can be a possible holdsite. Furthermore eight rules are made to determine the part orientation, where Mamadi's resoning method is applied. To show the validities of our proposed technique. some experimental results are illustrated and compared with the results by conventional matched filter technique.

  • In this Paper, we present a new efficient algorithm that can segment an object in the image. There are many algorithms for segmentation and many studies for criteria or threshold value. But, if the environment or brightness is changed, their would not be suitable. Accordingly, we apply a clustering algorithm for adopting and compensating environmental factors. And applying labeling method, we try arranging segment by the similarity that calculated with the fuzzy algorithm. we also present simulations for searching an object and show that the algorithm is somewhat more efficient than the other algorithm.

  • In this paper, we proposed a three-dimensional(3D) scanning system based on laser vision technique for 3D model reconstruction. The proposed scanning system consists of line laser, camera, and turntable. We implemented the 3D scanning system using low quality elements. Although these are low quality elements, we reduced the 3D data reconstruction errors greatly using two methods. First, we developed a maximum brightness detection algorithm. This algorithm extracts the maximum brightness of the line laser to obtain the shape of the object. Second, we designed a new laser control device. This device helps to adjust the relative position of the turntable and line laser. These two methods greatly reduce the measuring noise. As a result, point cloud data can be obtained without complicated calculations.
