In this paper, we present a novel illumination system for parking lots constructed underground. We design and implement this system using microwave sensors and dimming control of LED fluorescent lamps so that we can obtain lighting efficiency of the illumination scheme. We construct an effective illumination system in the aspects of performance and cost, resulting in energy-saving and electricity reduction. Recently conventional energy-saving method applied to old underground parking lots mainly relies upon turning off the half of total number of lamps installed in the parking lot. Sometimes there are some lots that have infrared sensor to be used to turn on/off the fluorescent lamps to realize these operations smoothing. The other schemes utilize timer to control lighting time of the fluorescent lamps. These conventional schemes are forcing to turn off a part of lamps installed so that we cannot apply them in a systematic way. Moreover they will be most inefficient when we leave them alone to be continuous consumers. The lighting control system proposed in this paper can recognize objects through microwave sensors and inform the appropriate lighting time, furthermore we can adjust brightness of LED lamps following the surroundings using dimming control scheme so that we can epochally improve the illumination system for underground parking lots. According to our sophisticated test experiments, we can maximally obtain 81.9% of energy-saving effectiveness using the system proposed in this paper.
In this study, a Yanggaeng with added loquat fruits puree was developed and studied on quality characteristics. The mixed ratio were 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100% of loquat fruits puree. Loquat fruits puree have 83.49% of water, 0.36% of crude protein, 0.04% of crude fat, 0.46% of crude ash, $14.3^{\circ}Brix$ of sweetness, 75.10(mg/kg) of polyphenol and 4.01 of pH. The water contents of Yanggaeng were 41.78~53.37%, and showed significant increase (p<0.001). The sugar contents of Yanggaeng were increased from $28.7^{\circ}Brix$ at control group to $36.0^{\circ}Brix$ at 100% mixing group (p<0.001), while pH were decreased from 6.4 at control group to 4.26 to 6.4 at 100% mixing group. In color, the brightness (L-value) gradually decreased from 72.69 at control group to 43.64 at 100% mixing group (p<0.001), the redness (a-value) of control group was the lowest by -1.72 while 100% mixing group was the highest by 8.64 (p<0.001). The yellowness (b-value) of control group was 15.91 while that of 100% mixing group was 21.98 (p<0.001). The DPPH radical scavenging activity of control group was the lowest by 9.24% while that of the group 100% mixing was the highest by 46.17%. Total polyphenol was not detected from control group and 20% mixing groups, and 100% mixing group was The highest by 16.69 mg/100 g (p<0.001). Preference test showed the groups with mixing loquat fruits puree 60% or more were preferred (p<0.001) in color. There were no significant difference from sweet taste but sour taste of 100% mixing group was The highest by 4.85 (p<0.01). For texture and overall preference the most preferred groups were the groups of mixing of 60% and 80% of loquat fruits puree.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of mulberry powder on the antioxidant activities and quality characteristics of yogurt. The samples were fermented with different amounts (0, 0.5, 1, and 3% to the yogurt quantity) of mulberry powder for 24 hr. The total phenol content, anthocyanin content, and DPPH radical scavenging activity of yogurt significantly increased with higher mulberry powder content. The pH decreased with higher mulberry powder content until 16 hr, whereas the treated groups showed higher pH levels than the control group after 20 hr. Acidities of the treated groups were higher than that of the control group upon addition of mulberry powder. Citric acid, succinic acid, and lactic acid contents of the treatment group were higher than that of the control until 16 hr, whereas the free organic acid content of the control group increased after 20 hr. The amount of lactic acid bacteria increased with higher mulberry powder content until 12 hr, whereas that of the treated group tended to decrease compared to the control group after 16 hr. Color values of mulberry yogurt were lower in terms of brightness and yellowness, whereas redness value was higher compared to the control. Mulberry yogurt groups showed higher sensory attributes than the control, except for 3% added yogurt. Consumer acceptability score of yogurt with 1% mulberry powder was ranked higher than those of other yogurts in terms of overall preference, sourness, color, flavor, and sweetness. We suggest that mulberry powder can be used to improve the quality characteristics, functionality, fermentation, and sensory evaluation of yogurt.
The alternate plating method was suggested by a tin-cobalt alloy plating process which has excellent mechanical characteristics and also favorable to environment. Tin-cobalt alloy plating has many advantages such as nontoxicity, variable color-tone, and no post-treatment process. In this study, the plating conditions such as temperature, pH, current density, plating time, and amount of additive (glycine) were determined in the tin-cobalt alloy plating process through Hull-cell test and surface analysis. As the result of Hull-cell analysis, brightness became superior as the amount of glycine increased. It was found that the optimum alloy ratio was 0.03 M of $SnCl_{2}{\cdot}2H_{2}O$ and 0.05 M of $CoSO_{4}{\cdot}7H_{2}O$ at $50^{\circ}C$, pH 8.5, and $0.5A/dm^2$. The optimum amount of additive was 15 g/L of glycine and 0.1 g/L of organic acid. Then, the solution including glycine was recommended as an optimum plating solution for a chromium plating process.
The traditional image of hydraulic excavator started to change in two ways since 1990. First, post-heavy equipment's visual image was new waves to traditional image of heavy, strong, and wild. They are the negative aspect that excavators have. Another movement of getting rid of its negative image can be found in late-heavy equipment, which was intended to adapt traditional and positive, but off negative images. In 1990s, the design trend is moving from warm/hard to warm/soft, and KOBELCO can be exceptional example that went even further, gone up to cool-soft image. KOBELCO specially aimed 'post- excavator image' strategy, which has been successful. Image of cabin as a human space changed little bit further than outside image. Each company tried to differentiate the design of cabin focusing on its safety. Following paragraphs show specific trend of image change in form, colour, texture, and the composition. Major visual image change in form tries to follow the image of cars and home appliances which are showing the movement from tough and hard image to soft one. Structural change on local image shows the movement from angular edge to edgeless and the movement of cabin's pillar C placed to back of the equipment with gentle inclination. All of these movements are the result of effort to improve traditional excavator's negative image, that top structure is assembled separately, to positive ones. Today's tendency about its color becomes important to apply two different colour styles. Each style has brightness and tone comparison. As an enormous power convey system, it was in common that its brightness comparison was useful because of the alarm of its damage possibility. However, as its colour control and its design have been emphasized gradually, the tone comparison takes a part in an important role, too. As an example, there is an occasion that these comparisons are compromised simultaneously. In the respect of its image creation, its texture treatments make the tendency of being the same as passenger cars. It is caused from its development of the manufacture techniques of from the fabrication method in small business to the press method in big firm. Further, it is also because of its improvement of painting & coating skills. It may prohibit the reflection effect from solar rays. In the point of view of its visual images, it is recognized the prominent tendency that its composition has been gradually decreased. Lots of windows and the frames tends dark-colour as a whole. It is more preferred to have one colour image, but except KOBELCO and HITACHI. As well, there is another high-tendency to improve its standard treatments, especially for its corner and texture treatments.

In this paper, resistance temperature detector (RTD) integrated into the LED package is proposed in order to solve the temperature dependence of LED's optical properties. To measure the package temperature in real time, the RTD type temperature sensor having excellent accuracy and linearity between temperature change and resistance change was adopted. A stable metallic film is required for long term reliability and stability of the RTD type temperature sensor. Therefore, deposition and annealing condition for the film were determined. Based on the determined condition, the RTD type temperature sensor with the sensitivity of about $1.560{\Omega}/^{\circ}C$ was fabricated inside the LED package. In order to configurate the LED package system keeping the constant brightness regardless of the temperature, additional conversion circuit and control circuit boards were fabricated and added to the fabricated LED package. The proposed system was designed to compensate the light intensity caused by temperature change using the variable duty rate of driving current. As a result, the duty rate of PWM signal which is the output signal of the configurated system was changed with the temperature change, and the duty rate was similarly varied with the target duty rate. Consequently, it was focused the fabricated RTD can be used for compensating the optical properties of LED and the LED package which exhibits constant brightness regardless of the temperature change.
In this paper, we propose FPGA design technique for rotating LED display device which is capable of displaying videos with the use of the afterimage effect. The proposed technique is made up of image data correction process based on inverse gamma correction and error diffusion, block interleaving process, and data serial output process. The data correction process based on inverse gamma correction and error diffusion is an image data correction step in which image data received are corrected by inverse gamma correction process to convert the data into linear brightness characteristics, and by error diffusion process to reduce the brightness reduction phenomenon in low-gray-level which is caused by inverse gamma correction. In the block interleaving process, the data of the frames entered transversely are first saved in accordance with entrance order, and then only the longitudinal image data are read. The data serial output process is applied to convert the parallel data in a rotating location into serial data and send them to LED Driver IC, in order to send data which will be displayed on high-speedy rotating LED Bar. To evaluate the accuracy of the proposed FPGA design technique, this paper used XC6SLX45-FG484, a Spartan 6 family of Xilinx, as FPGA, and ISE 14.5 as a design tool. According to the evaluation analysis, it was found that goal values were consistent with simulation values in terms of accurate operation of inverse gamma and error diffusion correction, block interleaving operation, and serialized operation of image data.

The edge in the image is a part which the brightness changes rapidly between the object and the object or objects and background, and includes information of the features such as size, position, orientation, and texture of the object. The edge detection is the technique that acquires these information of the images, and now the researches to detect edges are making steady progress. Typical conventional edge detection methods are Sobel, Prewitt, Roberts using the first derivative operator and Laplacian method using the second derivative operator and so on. These methods is more or less insufficient that the characteristics of the edge detection in the image added salt and pepper noise. therefore, in this paper, an edge detection algorithm using modified mask that applies different size mask according to noise density of local mask is proposed.

This paper proposed a new amplitude width modulation for OLED data driver IC. The data driver controls brightness of OLED by adjusting amplitude and width of the data drive current pulse. There were two conventional methods; pulse amplitude modulation(PAM) and pulse width modulation(PWM). The PWM method suffered from lower light emitting time efficiency at low luminance signal. The PAM method suffered from large chip area using DACs for each column. The proposed method was aiming at accurately controlling of the current level by MSB data and light emitting efficiency by LSB data to improve the inefficiencies of the PAM and a PWM. The proposed AWM driver circuit implemented using $0.35-{\mu}m$ 3-poly 4-metal CMOS high voltage process. The simulation result shows the improvement in the accuracy of the gray level control even though the driver circuit is smaller than the PAM.

The surface management of metals was performed with a tool microscope or surface roughness measurement instruments. These methods were not efficient for checking the surface status of the die in the production field. For this reason, an analysis system or measurement system to monitor the wear, defects and surface status as a die ages is required. This study, developed surface analysis software for automatic analysis and standardization of a die or processed products. Software was designed to measure the basic features, such as circles, dots, and lines. The captured images were rendered as three-dimensional representations so that the depth of the grooves on the die and segmental profiles could be estimated. As a result of experimental analysis, the surface roughness was measured with an accuracy more than 93.2%, and the maximum deviation in the surface roughness for the brightness of the lighting was within $3{\mu}m$. The confidence in the device's precision was assured. These results show quality control through efficient surface analysis.
