  • This study aims to draw up measures to planting tree and maintain a landscape in traditional space. Preceding comprehensive theoretical consideration of selected species of trees and tree maintenance. And analysis of present condition of planting in cases of Gwanghalluwon Garden, then draw a maintenance plans of planting through species of trees and landscape of planting recorded in literature. The results were as follows. First, Analysis of selected species of trees and tree maintenance that traditional space. A dispute about the selection species of trees in traditional space has been continued until today. Because unconditional reject of foreign trees are limited. In this context, should be sublated that hasty blind faith of records and dichotomous preparation plans such as removal of foreign trees and implicitly planting of native plants. Secondly, Planted trees in Gwanghalluwon garden was investigated and found to the species of trees used in traditional space such as Pine(Pinus densiflora S. et Z.), Sawleaf Zelkova(Zelkova serrata), Ginkgo(Ginkgo biloba), Crape Myrtle(Lagerstroemia indica L.). But, present planting irrelevant to traditional space, except Gwanghallu pavilion area from the spatiality. Thirdly, A look at the records or literature that maintenance of planting through historical research are limited. Because literature was recorded Salix spp., Crape Myrtle, Bambusoideae(Pseudosasa japonica), lotus only among planted trees in Gwanghalluwon garden. Fourth, Gwanghallu zone have nature of history and sense of place. And It was going to restore the appearance on historical. Consequently maintenance plan of planting of Gwanghallu zone should be maintain the current state. Wanwol pavillion zone can be recognized as the original form because they look similar to the Gwangallu zone's buildings. Therefore, it is necessary to secure the sense of place different from Gwanghallu zone by buffer planting for composition of transition space. Wolmaejip zone and lawn zone was marketplace in outside of castle and large forest. Accordingly, this area should be symbolic restoration of the Yulrim(栗林) and representation of the marketplace in outside of castle through aggregation of facilities and administrative facilities in Gwanghalluwon garden. East lawn of the Wanwol pavilion zone is should be maintained the current state that opened place in terms of using thought linked with the Wanwol pavilion zone. Boundary zone of the Gwanghalluwon garden is difficult to associate in terms of historical research and authenticity. Therefore, application of cultural landscape that appeared in literature is be worth.

  • Today, the most common process for generating Through Silicon Vias (TSVs) for 3D ICs is Deep Reactive Ion Etching (DRIE), which allows for high aspect ratio blind holes with low surface roughness. However, the DRIE process requires a vacuum environment and the use of expensive masks. The advantage of using lasers for TSV drilling is the higher flexibility they allow during manufacturing, because neither vacuum nor lithography or masks arc required and because lasers can be applied even to metal and to dielectric layers other than silicon. However, conventional nanosecond lasers have the disadvantage of causing heat affection around the target area. By contrast, the use of a picosecond laser enables the precise generation of TSVs with less heat affected zone. In this study, we conducted a comparison of thermalization effects around laser-drilled holes when using a picosecond laser set for a high pulse energy range and a low pulse energy range. Notably, the low pulse energy picosecond laser process reduced the experimentally recast layer, surface debris and melts around the hole better than the high pulse energy process.

  • Self healing systems are considered as cognation-enabled sub form of fault tolerance system. But our experiments that we report in this paper show that self healing systems can be used for performance optimization, configuration management, access control management and bunch of other functions. The exponential complexity that results from interaction between autonomic systems and users (software and human users) has hindered the deployment and user of intelligent systems for a while now. We show that if that exceptional complexity is converted into self-growing knowledge (policies in our case), can make up for initial development cost of building an intelligent system. In this paper, we report the application of AHSEN (Autonomic Healing-based Self management Engine) to in OKKAM Project infrastructure backbone cluster that mimics the web service based architecture of u-Zone gateway infrastructure. The 'blind' load division on per-request bases is not optimal for distributed and performance hungry infrastructure such as OKKAM. The approach adopted assesses the active threads on the virtual machine and does resource estimates for active processes. The availability of a certain server is represented through worker modules at load server. Our simulation results on the OKKAM infrastructure show that the self healing significantly improves the performance and clearly demarcates the logical ambiguities in contemporary designs of self healing infrastructures proposed for large scale computing infrastructures.

  • Ground subsidence can result in the formation of sinkholes, potholes, settlement of structures, and road subsidence. Road subsidence is described as the sudden collapse of the road surface into subsurface cavities caused by the loss of bearing capacity in the ground, such as the dissolution of limestone by fluid flow in the surface causing the formation of voids leading to subsidence at the surface. Road subsidence occurs about 665 times annually, and this incidence has been increasing until 2013. Damaged underground facilities, management negligence, and lowering of the ground water table have been the causes of road subsidence in Seoul. Seoul metropolitan government announced special management counter plans to relieve the anxieties and make the roads safe for passing. Construction sites, such as excavation works, need to be managed properly because they have strong potential to induce road subsidence. The aim of this study was to identify the main causes of road subsidence and suggest management plans. First, life cycle cost analysis revealed the daytime construction to be more appropriate than nighttime. In addition, by analyzing the limitations of using sand as a backfill material, it is proposed to use a flowable backfill material instead of sand. Finally, to reduce the blind spots, which is a problem in surveying the road pavement conditions of local governments, the road to be managed is divided into several zones, and a specialized agency is selected for each zone and a method of surveying the blind spots through collaboration is suggested.

  • This paper intends to introduce more objective and qualitative rock mass classification method easily applicable to the excavation of gneissic masses showing corestone weathering profiles. It is proven that corestone weathering profile could be divided with reasonable accuracy into digging, ripping and blasting layers using visual and simple mechanical techniques such as Schmidt hammer rebound test on cut slopes, taking into consideration strength and spacial distribution of corestone, workability and work efficiency of excavation. Also, seismic refraction surveys were employed for shallow investigations (down to $20{\sim}30m$ depth) in corestone weathering profile and conducted across the top of vertical exposures where the underlying geology could be directly inspected. Some discrepancies ($3{\sim}4m$ in average and 6 m occasionally) between the actual and assumed materials with respect to seismic velocities were observed. Thus it can be concluded that field geotechnical mapping and field seismic test should be used together in order to get a relatively good accuracy in assessing likely excavation conditions of corestone weather-ing profiles.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of IPBC(3-lodo-2-propynylbutylcarbamate) on dandruff caused by the anthropophilic fungus Malassezia furfur. The effects of IPBC on dandruff were examined by evaluating (a) the MIC value of IPBC using broth dilution method; (b) the remnant antimicrobial activity of IPBC containing shampoo on skin disc; (c) the antidandruff efficacy of 1.0 % IPBC containing shampoo in double blind clinical trial. To investigate the remnant antimicrobial activity of IPBC against Malassezia furfur, guinea pig-skin disc was washed with antidandruff shampoo and then the diameter of inhibition zone per disc was measured. For clinical trial, thirty healthy volunteers, aged 25-35, participated in 4 week study. At 0, 2, 4 weeks, examinations of scaling, itching on scalp were carried out. The MIC(Minimun Inhibition Concentration) values of IPBC range from 0.10 to 1.00${\mu}g/ml$ and it seems that IPBC is more effective in the MIC values than zinc pyrithione, selenium disulphide, piroctone olamine and comparable to ketoconazole, climbazole. When the remnant antimicrobial activity of IPBC shampoo on skin disc was determined, 0.5% IPBC shampoo and 2.0% Ketoconazole shampoo resulted in similar antimicrobial effect. In addition, 1.0%, 2.0% IPBC shampoo was more effective than 2.0% ketoconazole shampoo. After two and four-weeks of 1.0% IPBC shampoo treatment, there was significant reduction of scaling, itching in test group compared to control group. On the basis of these results, it can be concluded that 1.0% IPBC is more effective than 2.0% Ketoconazole in reducing dandruff. It seems that strong capacity of drug binding to the stratum corneum plays a role in its antidandruff effect since adsorption of active ingredients on scalp is very important factor in reducing dandruff.

  • Whether a skarn deposit in carbonate host occurs in contact with certain igneous mass or not has been a general criterion in identifying the igneous rock that genetically relates to the skarn deposit. It is well known, however, that there are many skarn deposits which are not close to any given igneous contact but are far away from the contact. In this paper the reason why such deposits can be formed at a distance from the contact as mentioned is expressed based on the concept that skarn deposits and related igneous rocks are genetically connected at depth where ore-forming fluids emanate from magma and are removed upwards; the movement of ore-forming fluids separated from magma at any depth may have a tendency to infiltrate upward in bulk rather than to diffuse laterally; the paths of magma and cogenetic ore-forming fluids may be identical at lower depths but the latter can be diverted from the former with upward movement so that the positions of the skarn deposits which resulted from the ore-forming fludis at upper levels can be distant from the igneous contacts on a given horizontal section. Statistics indicate that the majority of exoskarns are found at distances up to 800 meters or rarely up to 3,000 meters from igneous contacts and endoskarns up to 600 meters or more. Numerous case studies of skarn deposits in various parts of the world support the above reasoning indicating a general downward convergency of skarn orebodies and related igneous masses with depth. A typical example of this situation is well demonstrated at the Keumseong molybdenum deposit, which is apart from the Jecheon granite on the surface but gets closer to the granite body with depth and finally is intertongued with the granite apophyses in its root zone. Another case for skarn deposit not associated with igneous contact either laterally or vertically but with a deep-seated distal igneous mass is the Sangdong scheelite deposit; 700 meters below the scheelite orebody a blind pluton of muscovite granite, which intruded into the Precambrian crystalline schist, has been recently discovered by deep drilling.

  • This research proposes the Accident Prevention System to prevent collision accident that can occur due to blind spots such as crossway or school zone using V2I communication. Vision sensor and LiDAR sensor located in the infrastructure of crossway somewhere like that recognize objects and warn vehicles at risk of accidents to prevent accidents in advance. Using deep learning-based YOLOv4 to recognize the object entering the intersection and using the Manhattan Distance value with LiDAR sensors to calculate the expected collision time and the weight of braking distance and secure safe distance. V2I communication used ROS (Robot Operating System) communication to prevent accidents in advance by conveying various information to the vehicle, including class, distance, and speed of entry objects, in addition to collision warning.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare radiation dose among workers in the radiation zone and to compare the doses of students in clinical practice in the same area to provide basic data on optimization of radiation protection. The subjects were 121 radiation related workers, 36 radiation workers, and 121 students who completed 8 weeks of clinical practice from Jan. 2016 to Dec. The depth and surface dose between the radiation related workers and the radiation workers were the highest with $.7440{\pm}1.676mSv$ and $.7753{\pm}1.730mSv$, respectively, and statistically significant (p<.01). Among the three groups, the depth dose was the highest at $.143{\pm}.136mSv$ for clinical practice students and the highest at surface dose of $.1513{\pm}.139mSv$. The lowest in both cases, The mean difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p<.01). In conclusion, it is necessary to manage thoroughly according to the ALARA(As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle. Especially, it is necessary to systematically manage the dose of radiation for clinical students who are in the blind spot of radiation safety management.
