  • This article presents machine learning based approach on Big data to analyzing time series data for anomaly detection in such industrial complex system. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network have been demonstrated to be improved version of RNN and have become a useful aid for many tasks. This LSTM based model learn the higher level temporal features as well as temporal pattern, then such predictor is used to prediction stage to estimate future data. The prediction error is the difference between predicted output made by predictor and actual in-coming values. An error-distribution estimation model is built using a Gaussian distribution to calculate the anomaly in the score of the observation. In this manner, we move from the concept of a single anomaly to the idea of the collective anomaly. This work can assist the monitoring and management of Smart Factory in minimizing failure and improving manufacturing quality.

  • We observed an Ellerman bomb(EB) and its associated surge using the Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph(FISS) and the broadband TiO filter of the 1.6 meter New Solar Telescope at Big Bear Solar Observatory. As is well-known, the EB appears as a feature that is very bright at the far wings of the H alpha line. The lambdameter method applied to these wings indicates that the EB is blue-shifted up to 6km/s in velocity. In the photospheric level below the EB, we see rapidly growing "granule-like" feature. The transverse velocity of the dark lane at the edge of the "granule" increased with time as reached a peak of 6km/s, at the time of the EB's occurrence. The surge was seen in absorption and varied rapidly both in the H alpha and the Ca II 8542 line. It originated from the Ellerman bomb, and was impulsively accelerated to 20km/s toward us(blueshift). Then the velocity of the surge gradually changed from blueshift of 20km/s to redshift of 40km/s. By adopting the cloud model, we estimated the temperature of the surge material at about 27000K and the non-thermal velocity at about 10km/s. Our results shed light on the conventional idea that an EB results from the magnetic reconnection of an emerging flux tube and pre-existing field line.

  • This paper is to examine the meaning of activities of a number of artists who belong to Constructivism in the fashion design area during early twentieth century. After Russian Revolution, the artists like Nadeshda Lamanowa, Ljubow Popowa and Warwara Stepanova decided to devote to practical art area for many People. It's very meaningful for them to jump into real work places like a textile mill and a clothing workshop instead of staying in fine art area. Constructivism is more related to social interest rather than individual thing. The artists tried to apply their modeling principles in fine art to dress making. We can see the geometrical lines and shapes and big differences In colors and material in their dress. The artists had also shown personal tastes to dress works. This idea of togetherness with their time and even to create the style of it. was very renovative at that time and gave an influence on the later styles.

  • This paper, as a conlcusion to this special issue, presents the future work that is being carried out at NTU Singapore in collaboration with Microsoft Research and Microsoft Azure for Research. For our research team the real frontier research in world histories starts when we want to use computers to structure historical information, model historical narratives, simulate theoretical large scale hypotheses, and incent world historians to use virtual assistants and/or engage them in teamwork using social media and/or seduce them with immersive spaces to provide new learning and sharing environments, in which new things can emerge and happen: "You do not know which will be the next idea. Just repeating the same things is not enough" (Carlo Rubbia, 1984 Nobel Price in Physics, at Nanyang Technological University on January 19, 2016).

  • As the population of persons over the age of sixty-five is rapidly growing, the population of solitary senior person living at own home is growing in Japan. This situation has caused the social issue of how supports their healthy life. There have been some projects related to improve their quality of life and support their healthy life. Unfortunately mostly they focus the method of measuring vital signal and observing behavior. Nobody reports how utilize the measured data. Aim of our project is how find emergency of the aged people at home. As emergency is big different from regular life behavior, we have to recognize it. We propose concept of the human behavior model and show the some types human behavior knowledge constructed by observed human behavior model and show the some types human behavior knowledge constructed by observed human behavior. This idea is based on human having habitual life. And we discuss the possibility of finding emergency using knowledge and observed data.

  • There will be a big problem in disposing of waste tie coming from the cars. Because many of these have been thrown away to the field and environmentally polluted. New, We need to find out how to dispose or recycle these waste material. It is thought that recycling this material especially mixing with concrete will be a good idea. This study is focused how each material do its behavior due to the size of waste type particle and its amount into concrete material. 0.4mm-10mm range of particle has been applied to the material : Also, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0% range of tyre particle proportion has been applied to make cylinder molds. The concrete mold with waste-tyre particle has vibration-absorbing ability. It is found that 0.4 -0.6mm particle mixing concrete has been more solid organized. And this waste tyre material could be applied to the general concrete, it is found.

  • The knobs of the Joseon dynasty furniture were mainly made with metal in its consideration about durability and decorative characteristics, small pieces of furniture, the Kori types of knobs, big furniture, that desires, descendants. Meanwhile huge furniture had Butchimdae which can be used also as the locking mechanisms, or just the locks which were used as handle. The handle type included the idea of shamanism that desiring health and longevity, scholarly spirit and prosperity of descendants, therefore the design metaphorically contained the shape of the long-living and prolific animals and plants. Even though traditional furniture were constructed as succinct proportions and simple decoration because of the affect of Confucianism. Therefore, we can notice the hope forefathers indwelling in the handles made of metal.

  • The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) has been studying the e-Science paradigm. With its successful application to particle physics, we consider the application of the paradigm to astroparticle physics. The Standard Model of particle physics is still not considered perfect even though the Higgs boson has recently been discovered. Astrophysical evidence shows that dark matter exists in the universe, hinting at new physics beyond the Standard Model. Therefore, there are efforts to search for dark matter candidates using direct detection, indirect detection, and collider detection. There are also efforts to build theoretical models for dark matter. Current astroparticle physics involves big investments in theories and computing along with experiments. The complexity of such an area of research is explained within the framework of the e-Science paradigm. The idea of the e-Science paradigm is to unify experiment, theory, and computing. The purpose is to study astroparticle physics anytime and anywhere. In this paper, an example of the application of the paradigm to astrophysics is presented.

  • Thermopile thermometer can measure the temperature of an object without attaching the object. It measures the temperature by receiving the radiation energy from objects. The idea of this is from the law of Stefan-Boltzmann. In the past it was not used well because the size was big and the cost was too expensive. But, In these days it can be used many field because the size become smaller and advantage of cost by using micro machine technology. However, The accuracy of measuring is not better than electric type. So we want to improve the accuracy of sensor by analyzing the heat transfer of the thermopile. To analyze temperature distribution in the thermopile sensor, we use the FEM software which is named ANSYS. The conduction and radiation heat transfer is considered to simulate the temperature distribution and time response inside of the sensor.

  • In this paper we propose a platform that is applicable to low altitude remote sensing. Basic idea of the platform is based on the model helicopter. On big difference from the conventional model helicopter is that our platform has four main rotors. Furthermore, vision control strategy is introduced so that operator can use the platform without any specialized intensive knowledge
