  • 본 논문은 양방향 Buck 컨버터 DCM 구동 시 사용되는 스위치의 전류링잉현상을 상세히 분석하고 이에 따른 스위치 효율과 시스템 전력 효율 차이를 실험을 통해 검증한다. 분석을 통해 얻은 결과를 바탕으로 양방향 Buck 컨버터 설계 시 전력 효율을 높이는 스위치 및 다이오드를 선정하였다.

  • Most of systems engineers make a traceability matrix and attach it to their technical documents as a result of systems engineering activities. I have been working in the field of systems engineering for many years and have been watching traceability matrices created by systems engineers or developers from various companies. I have been thinking that some of them are not suitable in terms of purposes of traceability matrix. In this paper, I would like to suggest a right template for the traceability matrix in conformance to traceability purposes. The key is that traceability matrix should be created from higher level of requirements to current level of requirements.

  • In this paper, a bi-directional UPS with the performance of active power filter has been proposed. The operation of the proposed system can be divided into two modes, such as the active power filter mode and the battery back-up power mode. To improve the transient response for the effective compensation of harmonics and reactive power in active power filter mode, a novel closed-loop control strategy is used to calculate the reference current instantaneously. Finally, the performance of proposed UPS is verified by the simulation and experimental results.

  • This paper proposes efficient system for multiview images using backward quadtree disparity estimation. Previous quadtree method usually divides current image. In this work, backward quadtree divides reference image. So, it does not need to code quadtree data. For backward quadtree, quadtree information map is generated. By using this map, adaptive dividing is possible. And, conventional bi-directional matching method is used with backward quadtree. These methods increase subject and object quality of decoded test images. For multiview images, panorama synthesizing method was used. Panorama image and right-most image are used for reference image for intermediate view images coding.

  • A PWM forced-commutated converter with DC voltage source is studied in this paper. This PWM-VSC using spacs vector modulation permits to control bi-directional power exchange between the AC mains and the DC source. The principle of the active and reactive power control is presented. In transient operation, the analysis of reactive component current is performed. Finally, the simulation results are also presented and discussed.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented the Dual Band Dipole Antenna with Tapered Microstrip Balun for WLAN Access Point. Two dipole antennas with different resonant frequency and the antenna structure combined additional line were implemented for dual band performance. In order to feed the balun current, the tapered microstrip balun was used. Produced the Dual Band Antenna shows a special quality. The quality is that all VSWR is less than 1.5 in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands in 802.11 standards, and it profits not less than 1.7dBi having typical Dipole Antenna pattern the very "a form of 8"pattern and Omni-directional pattern.

  • This paper presents the circuit arrangement and effective control method of regenerative energy storage system for an electric vehicle using super-capacitors as the braking energy storage element. A bi-directional controlled current flow of the DC-DC converters with the capacitor bank is connected in parallel with battery, and is controlled so that the whole of the braking energy is effectively absorbed into the capacitors and released back to the electric motor upon acceleration. The converter needs the series-parallel switching circuit for making the best use of the series capacitors and for limiting the step-up ratio of the boost converter. The proposed methods are verified by computer simulation and experimental set-up. They are usefully applied to the electric vehicles such as green cars, electric motorcycles, bike, etc which are power- supplied by the electric batteries.

  • In regenerative mode of an IPMSM control system without a bi-directional DC-DC converter, the 3-phase PWM inverter charges the battery. At this time, the regenerative torque reference for braking must output the proper torque reference to charge the battery. This paper proposed a regeneration control method that controls the voltage and current of the battery through CC-CV control at the regenerative braking torque corresponding to the driver's brake control.

  • 본 논문은 양방향 DC-DC 컨버터에서 출력 전류 응답성 향상을 위한 전향보상 기법을 제안하였다. 배터리의 충전 및 방전 수행 시, 안정적인 전압, 전류 제어를 위해 전향 보상은 필수적이다. 충전 모드일 때, 변압기 턴수비를 고려하여 1차측 스위치의 Phase shift 값을 전향보상 하였다. 방전모드 일 때, 전압 전달비와 변압기 턴수비를 고려하여 전향보상 하였다. 제안한 전향보상 기법은 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기자동차(Electric Vehicle, EV)의 주요 에너지 공급원인 배터리를 안정적으로 충 방전하기 위한 모드 전환 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 모드 전환기법의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 일반적으로 차량 시스템에 사용되는 다상 방식의 양방향 컨버터를 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 또한, 컨버터의 전류제어는 각 상의 인덕터 전류에 대해 평균전류모드제어(Average Current Mode Control) 방법을 적용하여 제어하였다.
