When the disturbances in the linear repression medel are generated by a seasonal autoregressive scheme the Cochrane Orcutt transformation estimator (COTE) is a well known alternative to Generalized Least Squares estimator (GLSE). In this paper it is analyzed in which situation the Ordinary Least Squares estimator (OLSE) is always better than COTE for positive autocorrelation in terms of efficiency which is here defined as the ratio of the total variances.

Recently, a lot of consumers in the United States are trying to find out the diverse Asian foods due to the raw material used,sauce,flavor,taste, and cooking philosophy. Asian fare has boomed up in the past decades at restaurants and retail food markets. These phenomena are considered to continue since many Americans become more cautious for health since they believe the traditional Asian foods are better for health than European, Latin, and traditional American diets. The increase of Asian population in America also induce the increased consumption of Asian foods, and those who traveled and tasted Asian foods during their journey want to take Asian foods after back home. Several sauces including gochujang, ramen, and seaweed snack are examples of Asian foods consumed in a large quantity. Many Asian food and material suppliers are trying to pioneer and penetrate American food market with exotic multifaceted Asian cuisine.

We propose a dual in-plane parallel electrode structure of a vertical configuration of a helix-deformed ferroelectric liquid crystal (HDFLC) mode for better brightness than a single in-plain electrode case. This structure provides high brightness in addition to the analog gray scale capability, fast response, and wide-viewing characteristics. In contrast to a conventional HDFLC in a planar geometry, smectic layers arrange themselves parallel to the substrates and thus extremely uniform alignment of molecules in a large area is naturally achieved in our new configuration.

We are now using separate ID Database, Permission System, OS and Standard Data Format in PC, Cell phone, IPTV service and these are not good in many kind of usage, data sharing, contents servicing and supervising efficiency To merge these multiple services into one system we need to make a single ID systems for all and this paper will gide you to the new ID system that was much better than the old one. This new type of ID system is made with 3D Data and this will give fantastic visual effect & rich information data to the ID users in 3D way which is much better than 2D image & Text information technology.

We examine the performance of genetic algorithms using binary encoding, with respect to a change of basis. Changing the basis can result in a change in the linkage structure inherent in the fitness function. We test three simple functions with differing linkage strengths and analyze the results. Based on an empirical analysis, we show that a better basis results in a smoother fitness landscape, hence genetic algorithms based on the new encoding method provide better performance.

Meteorological observatories use measuring boards on even ground in open areas to measure the amount of snowfall. However, it is very difficult to evaluate the accurate amount of snowfall because of the effects of the wind. Therefore, this study tried to determine the internal wind flow inside a windbreak fence to identify an area that was not affected by wind in order to measure the snowfall. We performed a computational fluid dynamics analysis, wind tunnel test of the type and height of the windbreak fence, and analyzed the wind flow inside the fence. The results showed that a double windbreak fence was better than a single windbreak fence for reducing the wind velocity. The reduction of the wind velocity was highest in the middle of a windbreak fence with a width of 4 m and a height of 60cm, where the windbreak fences were fixed to the ground.

We live in a global village that requires a language with a genuinely global status as a means of communication. During the twentieth century, English has clearly emerged as the lingua franca owing to both past British political imperialism and the more recent superpower status of the United States. Further contributing to world domination of the English language is the fact that the computer and Internet sprang from the US. Whether you like it or not, you are destined to learn English at least to some extent in order to live in this global village. For the last two decades, one of the most mistaken ideas a number of Korean English teachers have had is that speaking and listening are the primary forms of language, while reading and writing are secondary. In fact, reading is regarded as a skill of much consequence to us since it provides us with access to a huge quantity of information on the Internet, of which at least 80% is written in English. Writing, too, deserves a great deal of attention because we are increasingly called upon to use standard English expressions. As diligent learners of English, we had better not forget the place accorded to language not only as a medium for exchange and constructing information but as a tool for thinking. So we should try to think in English to the point where we have thinking-in-English as a habit, thereby leading to increased familiarity with the language. Such familiarity entails, above all, possessing a command of English.

The Korean oldbooks that represent the spiritual product of the ancestors in the form of physical shape are absolute need for retrieval and new evaluation through research and discovery. To earn Korean oldbooks that have these values, catalogue of Korean oldbooks and annotation book were used as secondery materials. But since there haven't been publications of Korean oldbook catalogue that can be used as Korean oldbook search engine, Korean oldbooks that has same title was valued differently by the different authors and defined differently according to bibliographic study. And there even has been a case when, even though there is same edition it was consider the only one. Therefor it can cause a lot of mistakes when you can't over look totally. So you can expert better results in structuring DB with computer then publicized catalogue of Korean oldbooks. But at this present time, since all of the DB that have been structured are not unified as one system and operated separately in their organizations, there has been a problem like creating different bibliographic information for same Korean oldbooks. In this study, as one of the solution to the problems of searching Korean oldbooks, we are making a plan to develop the unified retrieval system of Korean oldbooks using hypertext system. And with these finding, we are suggesting the further way of developing retrieval system of Korean oldbooks.

Although museums of dentistry and dental museums are both museums related to dentistry, they may differ significantly in the scope and the content regarding the audiences. Museums of dentistry, which display a variety of dental instruments, materials, and photographs, help you learn about the development of dentistry and primarily attract a lot of attention from those who work in dental fields. These museums, however, don't get much attention from the general public. The dental museum, which displays everything related to teeth and dental care, can attract a lot of curiosity and attention not only by those in dental fields, but also by the general public. Dental museums should purpose public health education; they should not just be a place for looking around. This is because the experience of the dental museum has the power to engage people. Therefore, if you add educational functions to the dental museum and make it a place to learn about dental history and oral health care, it can be the institution where culture and health are combined. We need to study history to better understand which improvements we have made and also to see what we need to aim for in the future. The purpose of this study is to examine the actual way each of 28 dental museums in 7 different countries is operated by describing what I saw when I visited them. In addition, the current state of museums of dentistry in Korea is examined and the future development directions is also considered.

본 논문에서 우리는 이진 이미지에 기초한 정교한 방법을 소개한다. 이 기술은 이진 이미지와 하프톤이미지에 데이터를 저장하는 방법이다. 이진 이미지는 비트맵 이미지고 하프톤 이미지는 제한된 범위를 두 개의 값으로 구성한 이미지다. 이와 같은 이유 때문에, 이러한 이미지는 약간의 수정만으로 이미지의 질이 좋지 않다. 그러므로, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 이진 이미지에 RLE 기법을 적용하였다. 즉, 우리는 이 방법으로 메시지를 은폐하기에 적합한 장소를 찾는 것이 가능하다. 우리는 이진 이미지에 데이터를 은폐하는 새로운 기법을 본 논문에서 제한하였다. 또한, 우리는 PWLC 방법보다 우리가 제안한 알고리즘이 더 우수함을 실험을 통해서 입증하였다.
