A Study on Safety of Environmental Cleaners' Noctilucent Jackets

  • This research chose 135 environmental cleaners in Busan Metropolitan City as subjects. First, the reality of wearing their safety jackets was investigated. Next, visual evaluation of the reflexive function of the current safety jackets was made. Then, based on the above results and the subsequent improvement proposal, the final product, the research costume, was made. 1. Based on the investigation of the wearing reality of safety jackets and the visual evaluation results of the reflexive function, an improvement proposal was made. As cleaners are usually seen sidewise on the roads and lateral luminosity is rather low, this aspect was compensated on the part of a jacket. Also, the reflexive belt used the diagram of ${\Delta}$ to improve visual effects. 2. As the lower body held the accident frequency of 45.0%, the sides of pants had the reflexive belt to increase visibility. 3. In consideration of the mutual effects between the background cloth and general reflexive width, the same width (5cm) of the reflexive belt as that of Type A was adopted.

박피 마늘의 품위판정 기술개발에 관한 기초연구(I) -영상식 마늘 선별기용 반전장치 개발- (Basic Study on Quality Evaluation Technique for Peeled Garlics(I) -Rotation sytem for vision-based garlic sorter-)

  • Many workers in the garlic peeling factory are separating the sound peeled garlics from the unpeeled and defective ones in a manual way. In order to reduce the seasonal labor requirement and operating cost, the mechanized garlic sorting system such as the vision-based garlic sorter should be developed. This study was conducted as one of basic studies on developing quality evaluation technique for peeled garlics, especially to developed the system for acquiring the whole surface images of garlics with a CCD camera. The following results were obtained from this study. 1. The belt-type garlic rotation system was devised to apply for the vision-based garlic sorter and was tested to decide the criteria of design and optimum conveying speed. 2. To evaluate the performance of the developed garlic rotation system, feeding rate and rotating rate were measured under the conditions of four experimental factors such as the inclined angle of rotating belt, the inclined angle of feeding belt, the height of plate arrays on feeding belt and the conveying speed of belts. And the capacity of the system according to mixture ratios of peeled garlics and unpeeled garlics was analyzed as a feasibility test. 3. For the inclined angle of rotating belt 20°and height of plate array on feeding belt 22㎜, the maximum rotating rate for garlic samples including unpeeled ones was 81.1% at the conveying speed of 4.2 garlic/sec. And under these condition, the maximum feeding rate was 85% at the inclined angle of feeding belt 6.5°. 4. The capacity of the developed garlic rotation system was almost constant regardless of mixture ratio of peeled garlics and unpeeled garlics and its range was 2.95∼3.92 garlic/sec. At the conveying speed of 4.2 garlic/sec, the capacity of the garlic rotation system was calculated ad 58∼64 kg/hr. 5. To improve performance of the garlic rotation system, it is recommended to develop a device to slide garlics into feeding belt.

차동기어장치를 적용한 출력축 연결방식 무단변속기의 특성해석에 관한 연구 (Characteristics on the Output Coupled Type CVT Combined Differential Gear Unit)

  • Continuously variable transmission(CVT) mechanisms considered here combine the functions of a 2K-H I type differential gear unit and a V-belt continuously variable unit(CVU). One shaft of the V-belt CVU is connected directly to the differential gear unit and remaining shaft of it is linked to the output shaft. These mechanisms have many advantage which are the decrease of CVT size, the increase of overall efficiency, the extension of speed ratio range, and the generation of geared neutral. In this paper six different mechanisms of output coupled type CVT are proposed. Some useful theoretical formula related to speed ratio, power flow and efficiency are derived and analyzed, and theoretical analysis are proven by various experiments.

K_e에 의한 차량 안전벨트 앵커의 점용접 피로수명 예측 (Spot Weld Fatigue Life Prediction of Auto Set Belt Anchors Using $K_e$)

  • As the welding spot forms a singular geometry of an external crack type, fatigue failure of spot-welded specimens can be evaluated by means of a fracture parameter. Recasting the load vs. fatigue life relationships experimentally obtained, we predicted the fatigue life of spot-weld specimens with a single parameter denoted the equivalent stress intensity factor. This crack driving parameter is demonstrated to successfully describe the effects of specimen geometry and loading type in a comprehensive manner. The suggested fatigue life formula for a single spot weld can play a key role in the design and assessment of spot-welded panel structures, in that the fatigue strength of multi-spots is eventually determined by the fatigue strength of each single spot. We therefore attempt to evaluate the effectiveness and validity of $K_e$ in predicting the fatigue life of auto seat belt anchor panel. We first establish finite element models reflecting the actual mechanical behavior of 3 types of seat belt anchor specimens. Using finite element models elaborately established, we then obtain the effective crack driving parameter $K_e$ composed of its ductility -dependent modal components. It is confirmed that the $K_e$ concept successfully predicts the fatigue life of multi-spot welded panel structures represented by auto seat belt anchors here.

Metal Mask 검사시스템 (Inspection System for The Metal Mask)

  • 본 논문에서는 ASC(Area Scan Camera)를 이용한 비젼시스템과 belt type xy-table을 사용하여 metal mask의 홀 생성유무 검사시스템을 개발하고, 적용할 수 있는 알고리즘을 소개한다. Metal mask의 전체 영역을 일정한 크기의 검사영역으로 분할한다. 각각의 검사영역의 크기는 ASC의 FOV(Field of View)와 동일하다. 이때 belt type xy-table에서 발생하는 위치오차를 고려하여 일정영역을 중첩하여 분할한다. 검사블록에 대한 카메라이미지는 gerber 파일을 이용하여 생성한 기준이미지와 비교된다. 검사장치에 장착된 metal mask의 회전각도를 계산하기 위하여 존재하는 가장 큰 홀에 대한 카메라이미지를 획득하고, 홀의 수평 에지를 추출한 후 직선의 방정식을 이용한다. Belt type xy-table의 backslash와 같은 기계적 결함에 의해 기준 이미지와 카메라이미지에 존재하는 홀 사이에는 위치오차가 존재한다. 두 이미지를 일치시키기 위해 각 이미지에 존재하는 홀의 무게중심점을 이용한 HT(Hough-Transform)을 사용하여 위치오차정보를 추출하고, 기준이미지의 중심점을 이동시킨다. 각각의 이미지에 존재하는 홀에 대한 무게중심점, 면적, 가로길이, 세로길이 등의 정보를 레이블링을 통하여 구한다. 두 이미지에 존재하는 홀의 무게중심점과 면적을 이용하여 홀의 생성 유무를 판단한다. 그리고 실제로 시스템을 제작하여 위 알고리즘을 적용한다.

국립한글박물관 소장 덕온공주 집안 서대(犀帶)의 보존처리 및 특징 (Conservation treatment and characteristics of the belt with rhinoceros-horn ornaments at the National Hangeul Museum)

  • 국립한글박물관 소장 덕온공주 집안 서대는 2019년 국립한글박물관 특별전시를 위해 소장처의 의뢰로 응급처리를 실시하게 되었다. 처리의 목적은 전시를 위한 원형유지가 우선이었으며, 서대는 훼손이 심하여 형태복원 및 탈락된 띠돈의 고정이 필요했다. 처리 전 서대의 이론적 연구를 통해 구조의 명칭, 시대에 따른 형태의 변화 등을 살펴보아, 보존처리의 방향 및 계획을 수립하는데 기초로 삼았다. 품대 중 서대는 1품의 품계를 가진 사람이 사용하는 품대로 왕의 옥대 다음으로 귀하게 여겨졌던 품대이다. 서대를 장식하는 무소뿔[서각]은 품질에 따라 3가지 양식의 무늬로 구분되는데, 그 중 주변으로 작은 원형의 흑갈색 무늬가 중앙에 밀집한 모습으로 포도문과 유사한 양식으로 고급품에 속하는 질 좋은 서대임을 추정할 수 있다. 또한 버클이 없는 일체형 구조이며, 각이 진 방형의 품대로 19세기 이후 주로 착용되는 품대의 형태와 동일한 것으로 확인 하였다. 이후 보존처리를 시행하는 과정에서 서대의 구조를 확인하여 제작방식을 파악하였으며, 유물과 초상화 자료와의 비교를 통해 시대에 따라 변화되는 서대의 형태적 특징, 그리고 세부 구조 등을 살펴서 보존처리 대상 유물이 19~20세기 제작된 서대의 특징이 나타나고 있음을 한번 더 확인할 수 있었다.

압력제어 방식 금속 벨트 CVT 변속특성 해석 (Analysis of Ratio Changing Characteristics of a Metal V-Belt CVT Adopting Primary Pressure Regulation)

  • In this paper, a primary pressure regulating type ratio control system is developed for a metal belt CVT, and the CVT ratio changing characteristics are investigated by simulation and experiment. The hydraulic part of the ratio control system has a simple structure with one 3-way spool valve as a main ratio control valve and one bleed type variable force solenoid as a pilot valve. The mathematical modelling of the CVT hydraulic system is derived by considering the CVT shift dynamics. Simulation results of CVT speed ratio and the primary pressure agree with the experimental results demonstrating the validity of the dynamic models. It is found from the simulation and experimental results that the response time of speed ratio and primary pressure can be shortened by increasing the ratio control valve port area, and the size of feedback orifice of ratio control valve gives a damping effect on the primary pressure oscillation.

자벌레형 정밀 회전 모터의 개발 (Development of a Inchworm-Type Precise Rotational Motor)

  • A new type of rotational motor which is developed has a resolution smaller than 10 $^{-4}$ radian and can be accessed for full rotational angles. The operation principle of the motor is based on inchworm motion of two belt driving mechanism. Flexure hinge mechanism, which is pertinent to symmetry construction of the motor, is designed to minimze the effort to frame and is analyzed by using finite element method. Depending on input signal amplitude, rotational angle by one cycle is varied form 0.2*10 $^{-4}$ rad to 9.76* $^{-4}$ rad. This shows that it has the capability of getting very small rotational angle by considering radius of rotor and amplitude of input signal.

  • 착용형 컴퓨팅을 응용한 건강모니터링 분야는 급격한 성장이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 유비쿼터스 헬스케어를 위해 착용형 ECG모니터링 시스템을 구현하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 구현된 프로토타입의 착용형 건강모니터링 시스템의 계측성능, 무선전송, 계측된 ECG신호의 분석 등에 대해 기술하고자 한다. 구현된 하드웨어 시스템은 지그비 통신을 이용하여 무선으로 체스트 벨트타입의 센서에서 PC서버로 전송한다. 그리고 구현된 시스템을 이용하여 ECG 모니터링 테스트를 수행한 결과 원격 모니터링의 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • This investigation is the result of a structural analysis by FEM and test to define the deformation mode of the Up-Right type Vacuum-Cleaner's Nozzle-Cover. In FEM analysis, 3 different conditions were considered separately, such as (1) Compressive force by Belt tension, (2) Friction heat between Belt and shaft and (3) Compressive force combined with heat. Throughout FEM analysis it was found that the deformation was caused by heat and it was proved through a simulation test with a real product.
