A Study on Collective Consumer Dispute Mediation System (집단소비자분쟁조정제도에 관한 연구)

  • In modern capitalistic society, the harmed consumers like consumer complaints etc. are increasing day by day being caused by mass production and mass consumption etc. These consumer damages can come out as many types, but can be the most typical form. If there is a majority of the small sum damage, being saved by legal procedures is a fact that many consumers renounce it for long time, lots of expense and the complexity of the process etc. So, the government enforces consumer groups suit and collective dispute mediation system revising Framework Act on consumer. Specially, collective dispute mediation system, one of the ADR, saves the harmed consumers and accomodates efficiency in management of consumer dispute settlement commission by dealing with it collectively if the same or similar damage without a legal procedure happens to a great number of consumers. However, collective consumer dispute mediation system also has a number of problems. Therefore, this thesis is looking into the function and procedure of the collective consumer dispute mediation system on Framework Act on consumer as well as its problems and ways of improving it.

Discussion for the periodical basis of 'Wongi(原氣)' described in 『Nanjing(難經)』 (『난경(難經)』의 용어 '원기(原氣)'의 시대적 배경에 대한 소고(小考))

  • Objectives : Actually Wongi did not exist in "Neijing(內經)" as a word. Wongi is one of specific features that distinguish "Nanjing" from "Neijing". I have researched for the foundation of history and thought. Methods : I have looked into cognitive variation for Heaven (天), that is from Chinese ancient times through the period of the Han (漢) Dynasty. Results : 1. Before the period of the Yin (殷) Dynasty : There was some worship. 2. The period of the Yin Dynasty : The Lord (上帝) was respected and idolized. 3. The period of the Zhou (周) Dynasty : That the origin of existence is also in human was recognized through Doctrine of Heaven (天命思想). 4. The period of the Han Dynasty : Doctrine of Heaven was transfigured as ideological instrument for politics. The spiritual and physical human's independence was flowed into even though it was not separated from Heaven. Conclusions : As concerned above, the variation shows that consideration for the origin of existence flowed from the outside of human being, like the progenitor of human race, nature, and Heaven, through inside gradually. In the other words, the origin of existence was come to inquire inside of human being. As an aspect of medical science, it can be showed that the term of Wongi was influenced of these process.

A Phenomenological Approach on the Child-Rearing Experience of Mothers Who Adopted Disabled Children -In Case of Finding Disability after Adoption- (장애아동 입양어머니의 양육경험에 대한 현상학적 연구 -입양 후 장애가 드러난 경우-)

  • This study looked into the inner experience of foster mothers who adopted children under 3 months old and found out they were disabled while they were rearing with Van Manen's hermeneutic phenomenological approach. In-depth interviews were used with six foster mothers who live in Seoul, Gwangju, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jeollabuk-do. The study resulted in a hermeneutic writing with titled "Love of Mothers Who Want to Make Their Children's Dreams Come True" with six essential themes as follows: 'being at a loss wrapped in a dense fog,' 'venting off the frustration,' 'gratitude amid painfulness,' 'bold confrontation with prejudices,' 'disabled children's return to the center of their moms' life,' and 'expectation for their future life.' As they are disabled, foster mothers want to rear their children with more care and attention to make their children's dreams come true. Seen above, this could be interpreted as mothers' love to a life. For foster mothers, the disability of their adopted children is not a burden but an expectation for a new world. They help the children live by themselves. It shows that every child can have his own home.

  • Koreans who put a high value on confucian ethics traditionally have considered sex problems as taboo. Being faced with western liberal and hedonic culture that comes with waves of industrialization our younger generation who has grown in cultural backgrounds of confucianism has had mental confusion. Due to higher standards of living physical growth has quickened but mental growth has not reached there instead. Because of lureand trouble which come from this problem related with sex this is considered as a social problem. In this research through judgement which the most effective way that can solve adolescence sex problems is systematic sex education teaching method for desirable sex education is presented asfollowing First some supplement and desirable direction of sex education were proposed through the analysis of eight currently using home economics texbooks. A lesson plan was proposed using CAI program which was developed by authors with assistance of professional computer programmers. The CAI program includes following curriculum contents: 1concepts of sex This study ultimately aimed to let students develop desirable attitude and perspective on value regarding adolescence and sex, For this goal of research another lesson plan was proposed fostering classroom group discussion.

  • Several studies are being carried out to develop the reliable methods for the gas hydrate resource evaluation around the world. In this study, some case studies and investigations on the resource assesment of several advanced research teams were tried and then detail information on the evaluation scheme and technology of each team and nation are explained and analyzed for the future study and development. On top of that, main concepts and major parameters which can affect the quantity of assessment are examined and arranged for applying to our Donghae gas hydrate field case. Finally, the major concepts and methodology for this evaluation are brought forth and a schematic diagram for the main steps are come up with as well.

  • The semiconductor industry has been developed mainly by micronization process due to many advantages of miniaturization of devices. Mass production of semiconductors of 10 nm class has been started recently, and it is expected that the technology generation of 5 nm & 7 nm technology will come. However, excessive linewidth reduction affects physical limits and device reliability. To solve these problems, new process technology development and new concept devices are being studied. In this review, we introduce the next generation technology and introduce the advanced research for the new concept device.

  • As the LPM is used for position accuracy decision device it is required that both the reason of posion error and the definition of position itself should be cleared. In this study, the precision of the position decision of LPM is affected by the geometrical shape such as tooth shape or processing accuracy. By using the analysis of magnetic circuit, we calculated the permeance come up with the gap. Once the thrust force has been obtained, the permeance due to the mechanical error of the pole pitch and the tooth pitch becomes the error of thrust force. We confirmed as well that it is being affected by the difference due to the variation of the airgap permeance.

  • For the last decades, molecular genetics has achieved great advances that the genes on the list of inherited muscle diseases are piling up. Those diseases of overlapping clinico-pathologic findings are now understood with discrete molecular pathogeneses. We are facing an exciting era that the long-waited gene therapy may eventually come true. Skipping of dystrophin exon 51 is on successful clinical trials, which will benefit about 13% of the children suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Exon skipping is under active investigation to expand the candidates. Hopefully it may cover majority of Duchenne muscular dystrophy mutations and some of other diseases. Adeno-associated virus is one of the most versatile tools for gene transfer. It may overcome the limitation of exon skipping. Here we review exon skipping technique of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and briefly discuss the other strategies being studied to cure inherited muscle diseases.

  • Dome structure to form a space-efficient, applied a lot of beautiful buildings with structural systems, as well as a large space structure in the form of new residential lots have been applied. And domestic demand for housing in the dome with increasing dome house using various materials, are becoming commonplace. But now the Dome House is mainly used in construction steel, wood, stone, FRP construction and building materials per unit area and the high cost, long construction time, energy efficiency, has some disadvantages such as degradation. And structural strength of the structure is weak, the natural ingredients used come from natural damage is so big. In addition, demolition of buildings in trouble when handling the environmental problems has emerged. Recently expanded polystyrene to improve these problems by using the various approaches and research is being attempted and there.

Use and Awareness of Nutrition Labeling of Snacks based on One Serving Size among University Students in Chungbuk (충북지역 일부 대학생의 영양표시 활용 실태 및 과자류 1회 제공량 기준 영양표시 인지도)

  • The study was carried out to investigate the efficacy of current nutrition labeling of processed foods and examine awareness among university students of nutrition information given current nutrition labels, and also awareness of the one-serving size of snacks that come in differently sized packages. A total of 100 students in Chungbuk, Korea participated in this study. About 60% of the subjects knew about nutrition labeling; however, a very small percentage (11%) of the subjects reported an experience of being educated about nutrition labeling. Also, just 32% of the students checked nutrition labels when they purchased processed foods. When understanding of nutrition information on labels of snacks in differently sized packaging was tested, over 80% of the subjects understood nutrition information accurately. Five different package sizes were studied. Of these 5, packages containing about 200% of one standard serving showed the highest rate of misunderstanding of total energy contents per container. Interestingly, the students most strongly preferred containers that contained 300% of one standard serving. From these results, we conclude that students consider the current recommendation for a serving size to be small, which may be related to misreading of nutrition labels of snacks that come in packages containing less than 300% of one standard serving size. To improve accurate understanding of nutrition labels of snacks, total package labels or dual column labels on packages containing less than 300% of one standard serving size should be considered.
