고등학교 1학년 교과서에 나타난 문화소재 분석과 지도방안 (An analysis and teaching of cultural contents in the first-grade High School English textbooks)

  • In the EFL context, Korean students don't have enough opportunities to directly experience the target culture, prompting the need to offer some well-organized culture education in class. The goals of this study are to analyze how many cultural contents are reflected in High School English textbooks and to suggest an implication for cultural learning. These textbooks were carefully examined, focusing on the cultural contents, by four categories: 'cultural skill section', 'cultural patterns', 'related language skills', and 'target countries'. The results of the analysis were like the following: First, although many of the textbooks are dealing with the culture skill sections, their contents were still wanting consistency and were small in quantity. Second, as for the cultural patterns, the pages dealing with behavioral culture were 43%, spiritual culture, 35.7%, material culture, 21.3%. Third, as for the related language skills, the cultural contents in the textbooks were organized in the order of listening, reading, speaking, writing, and cultural skill sections. Since it is impossible to separate language skills from culture, we suggest that the aspects of target culture should be incorporated in various forms into the learning situations. Fourth, as for the issue of target countries, the contents about the general or whole English culture were insufficient. So we suggest that English textbooks should play an essential role in providing students with various cultural information about various English speaking countries.

  • 최근, 게임의 재미요소를 증대 시키고, 게임 생명주기(Life-Cycle)를 늘어나게 하기 위해 다양한 방법이 연구 중이다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 게임 행위를 수집/분석 하여 동적으로 변화하는 게임 환경을 제공하는 방법을 제안한다. 플레이어의 게임에서 이동한 정보와 게임 결과정보는 동적인 게임 지형 생성을 결정하는 기반 정보로 활용된다. 제안하는 방법의 실험을 위해 XNA기반의 게임을 만들었고 게임 플레이어의 패턴에 따라 동적으로 생성되는 게임 지형을 확인하였다.

운동학습에 의한 왼쪽 하전두영역의 분할비등방성의 변화 (Change of Fractional Anisotropy in the Left Inferior Frontal Area after Motor Learning)

  • Purpose: This study was to delineate the structural change of neural pathway after sequential motor learning using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). Methods: The participants were 16 healthy subjects, which were divided by training (n=8) and control (n=8) group. The task for the training was the Serial Reaction Time Task (SRTT) which was designed by Superlab program. When the 'asterisk' shows up in the 4 partition spaces on the monitor, the subject presses the correct response button as soon as possible. The training group participated in the training program of motor learning with SRTT composed of 24 digits pattern in one hour per daily through 10 days during 2 weeks. Results: In the behavioral results the training group showed significant changes in the increase of response number and the reduction of response time than those of the control group. There was significant difference in the left inferior frontal area in the fractional anisotropy (FA) map of the training group in DTI analysis. Conclusion: Motor sequential learning as like SRTT may be needed to the learning of language and visuospatial processing and may be induced for the experience-dependent structural plasticity during short period.

구직활동의 영향요인에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on Social Factors Affecting Job Search Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 구직자의 직업탐색행위와 관련하여 3차년도의 한국노동패널 자료를 활용한 실증분석을 통해 서구의 선행연구들이 구분하는 간접 공식의 구직경로 범주에 각각 포괄되는 세부적인 요소들이 구직자의 개인속성 변수와 여타 영향요인들에 따라 상충되는 인과성의 결과를 보이고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 직업탐색의 활동패턴에 대해 일관된 형태로 가장 중요하게 영향을 미치는 설명변수가 구직자의 학력임을 밝히고 있다. 구직방법의 활용폭에 대해 구직자의 사회적 연결망(유력인사 친척관계)이 유의하게 작용하고 있는 것으로 드러난 한편, 구직경로에 대해서는 선행연구와 유사하게 부진의 학력이 구직자의 직업탐색 활동에 주요하게 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Semiautomated Analysis of Data from an Imaging Sonar for Fish Counting, Sizing, and Tracking in a Post-Processing Application

  • Dual frequency identification sonar (DIDSON) is an imaging sonar that has been used for numerous fisheries investigations in a diverse range of freshwater and marine environments. The main purpose of DIDSON is fish counting, fish sizing, and fish behavioral studies. DIDSON records video-quality data, so processing power for handling the vast amount of data with high speed is a priority. Therefore, a semiautomated analysis of DIDSON data for fish counting, sizing, and fish behavior in Echoview (fisheries acoustic data analysis software) was accomplished using testing data collected on the Rakaia River, New Zealand. Using this data, the methods and algorithms for background noise subtraction, image smoothing, target (fish) detection, and conversion to single targets were precisely illustrated. Verification by visualization identified the resulting targets. As a result, not only fish counts but also fish sizing information such as length, thickness, perimeter, compactness, and orientation were obtained. The alpha-beta fish tracking algorithm was employed to extract the speed, change in depth, and the distributed depth relating to fish behavior. Tail-beat pattern was depicted using the maximum intensity of all beams. This methodology can be used as a template and applied to data from BlueView two-dimensional imaging sonar.

여성 과민성 방광의 한방 임상에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Korean Medical Clinical Management of Female Overactive Bladder)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to review Korean medical clinical management of female overactive bladder (OAB). Methods: We reviewed domestic and foreign papers related to Korean Medicine Treatment for OAB and literatures on Korean Medicine added clinical views of authors. Results: OAB is usually diagnosed to Deficiency pattern (Kidney qi deficiency-cold, Spleen-Lung qi deficiency et al.). The primary treatment goals of OAB is improvement of urinary symptom. But a comprehensive treatment approach including improvement of accompanied symptoms such as depression, insomnia, sexual dysfunction and improvement of quality of life is needed. Warming and tonifying herbal medicine, electro-acupuncture and moxibustion using acupoints specially acting bladder function in lower abdomen and lumbar-sacral area and behavioral therapies such as lifestyle modification, bladder training are usually primary treatments. Treatment period is recommended about 3~6 months to recover and stabilize bladder function. Conclusions: OAB is a clinical area that Korean Medicine tend to be more effective. but additional research about Korean Medical Clinical Management of OAB is needed.

VHDL 행위-레벨 설계의 코딩 오류 검출을 위한 패턴 생성 (Pattern generation for coding error detection in VHDL behavioral-level designs)

  • 최근 VHDL 코딩 및 합성방법에 의한 설계가 널리 사용되고 있다. 집적도가 증가함에 따라 VHDL에 의한 설계 또한 그 분량이 증가하여 많은 코딩오류가 발생하고 있으며, 이를 검색하는데 많은 시간과 노력이 소요되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 VHDL 행위-레벨 설계를 대상으로 코딩오류를 검색하는 방법을 제안하였다. 그 방법에 있어서는 검색패턴을 생성하여 오류가 없는 응답과 설계의 응답을 비교함으로써 설계오류를 찾는 방법을 택하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 코딩오류를 검색하기 위한 검색패턴을 생성하는 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 검색패턴 생성은 각 코드에 대해 수행하며, 할당오류와 조건오류를 구분하여 수행하였다. 패턴생성을 위해 VHDL 코드를 CDFG로 변환하여 사용하며, CDFG상의 경로를 탐색하여 패턴생성에 필요한 정보를 추출한다. 경로탐색은 오류가 발생하였다고 가정한 지점으로부터 역방향 탐색과 정방향 탐색을 수행하여 패턴을 생성한다. 제안한 알고리듬은 C-언어로 구현하였다. 펜티엄-Ⅱ 400MHz의 환경에서 여러 가지 VHDL 행위-레벨 설계를 대상으로 제안한 알고리듬을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 고려한 모든 설계의 모든 코드에 대한 검색패턴을 생성할 수 있었으며, 가정한 모든 오류를 검색할 수 있었다. 검색패턴 생성에 소요되는 시간은 고려한 모든 대상 설계에서 1초 미만의 CPU 시간을 보여 속도면에서도 매우 우수함을 나타내었다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안한 검색방법은 VHDL에 의한 설계에서 설계검증에 필요한 시간과 노력을 상당히 감소시킬 것으로 기대된다.

정신요법(精神療法)에 대(對)한 동서의학적(東西醫學的) 고찰(考察) (The comparative study on the psychotherapy of oriental and occidental medicine)

  • The following result are obtained through that comparative study on the psychotherapy of oriental and occidental medicine. 1. The shamanism(祝由) and active emotion therapy(移精變氣療法) are a primitive form of psychotherapy. It is an opinion that between active emotion therapy(移精變氣療法) and psychoanalytic therapy or supportive psychotherapy are similar. Also, the basic cognition pattern of shamanism(祝由) is projection. 2. Taoism is inseparably related to the psychotherapy of korean oriental medicine, the major thought has become the ideal base of oriental psychotherapy. 3. According to study of clinical document in relation to oriental psychotherapy, psychotherapy had been widely used by medical cure. 4. The five emotion restraint therapy is a high level psychotherapy of oriental medicine. Oriental psychotherapy that disease caused by surprising must be cure by surprising is like to systematic desensitization in western, and that pseudopsychosis must be cure by patient rely on doctor is like to suggestive therapy in western. 5. There are psychotherapy in western that Supportive psychotherapy, Short-term dynamic psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic therapy, Group psychotherapy, Family therapy, Morita therapy, Hypnotherapy, Autogenic training, Behavioral therapy, Milieu therapy, Occupational therapy, Psychodrama, the others. I think that they have wide application to the psychotherapy of korean oriental medicine.

검사 용이화를 위한 VHDL의 동작기술 합성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Behavioral technology Synthesis of VHDL for Testability)

  • 본 논문은 검사 용이화를 위하여 VHDL을 이용하여 설계를 할 때, 상위 수준 합성 방법에서 자체검사가 가능한 데이터 경로 구조를 자동으로 합성할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 그리고 MUX와 레지스터는 본 논문에서 제안된 디자인 시스템의 데이터 패스에 할당되어진다. VHDL에 의하여 기술된 하드웨어 명세를 검사 가능한 라이브러리로 매핑을 할 수 있는 검사 가능한 회로가 된다. 결과적으로 충돌그래프에서 레지스터를 최소로 하는 할당 알고리즘에 의하여 H/W로 매핑되는데 BILBO(built-in logic block Observation)레지스터를 재구성하여 TP(test pattern generator)와 MISR(multi input signature response)로서 데이터 경로 구조가 자체검사가 가능하게 되는 것이다.

시군통합 원주시 내의 의료서비스 이용의 변이 (A Variation of Health Service Utilization in Wonju City)

  • This study intends to examine the behavioral pattern and small area variations of health service utilization within Wonju city. We selected three small areas in Wonju city as the study site: Haksung-dong(central area of the city), Moonmak-myun (industrial area which is located 25km away from the center of the city), and Gure-myun (agricultural area which is located 32km away from the center). The data were collected by administering questionnaire interviews with 526 people in three areas. The questionnaire include the items on health service utilization behaviors, sociodemographic characteristics, health status, and perceptions. The statistical methods used for the analysis were ANOVA and hierarchical logistic regression. From the analysis, it was found that there was a variation of health service utilization by areas. Compared to those of other areas, the respondents from agricultural area showed a high probability of using health services. When respondents' personal characteristics were taken into account, the effect of dummy variables representing areas disappeared. Instead, the perceived health status became the prime factor of health service utilization. This result showed that the small area variations of health service utilization is due to the demand factor rather than the supply factor.
