남자 예비조종사의 코로나-19 시기 경험 여부에 따른 삶의 만족도, 기본 심리적 욕구, 그릿 연구 (A Study on Male Pilot Candidates' Life Satisfaction, Basic Psychological Needs and Grit by Experiencing COVID-19 Period)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze male pilot candidates' life satisfaction, basic psychological needs and grit by experiencing COVID-19 period for pilot literacy education. Participants were 1,249 male pilot candidates (COVID-19 before 613, during 636) were voluntarily participated. The data were gathered from totally 29 question's questionnaire at April 2018 and 2022. Statistical treatment was processed (by SPSS 21.0 for windows) as descriptive and two-way ANOVA for analyzing variables' interaction and main effects. The correlation analysis was processed for analyzing each variable's relations. And the multiple regression analysis was conducted for basic psychological needs' each variables' effect on life satisfaction. Statistical significancy was set as p<.05. The results were as follows. First, variables showed significances (p<.05~.01) by COVID-19 except life satisfaction and competence. Second, correlations showed higher R2 value in 2018 than 2022 and significances (p<.05~.01) among all variables, but, passion of grit need to be inspected in subsequent study. Third, multiple regressions showed significancies (p<.05) in all variables in 2018, but, relatedness was excluded in 2022. In conclusion, experiencing COVID-19 period affected pilot candidates' life and it need to be inspected the degree of effect of variables in subsequent study.

  • This study presents the integrated modeling approach to simulate the proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell system for vehicle application. The fuel cell system consisting of stack and balance of plant (BOP) was simulated with MATLAB/Simulink environment to estimate the maximum system power and investigate the effect of BOP component sizing on system performance and efficiency. The PEM fuel cell stack model was established by using a semi-empirical modeling. To maximize the net efficiency of fuel cel1 system, multi-variable optimization code was adopted. Using this method the optimized operating values were obtained according to various system net power levels. The fuel cell model established was co-linked to AVL CRUISE, a vehicle simulation package. Through the vehicle simulation software, the fuel economy of fuel cell powered electric vehicle for two types of driving cycles was presented and compared. It is expected that this study tan be effectively employed in the basic BOP component sizing and in establishing system operation map with respect to net power level of fuel cell system.

  • 학생들은 변수가 등호의 좌변에 있는 일차방정식보다 우변에 있는 일차방정식 문제를 해결하는데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 어려움을 학생들이 극복할 수 있도록, 기본적인 여러 유형의 일차방정식 문제를 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여야 할 것이다. 그리고 일차방정식의 교수 학습에서 여러 유형의 평가 문항을 구성하여 테스트 한 후에 학생들의 풀이 과정을 면밀히 검토하거나, 개별 면담을 통하여 학생들의 학습상황을 파악하고 이를 토대로 피드백을 통한 오류 교정이 이루어져야 할 필요성이 있다.

산업용 냉각기의 압축기 회전수 변화에 따른 용량제어 특성 (The characteristics of capacity control using a variable speed compressor in an industrial cooler)

  • This paper presents the capacity-control characteristics in an industrial cooler with a variable speed compressor. The inverter-type compressor is controlled by the rotational speed of the operational frequency. This type of the compressor performs the wide range of load compared to the on-off type. When the load of the system reduces, the rotational speed will be reduced. Thus, the system leads to the less power consumption and extends the longer durability of the compressor. With the variable rotational speed of the compressor the cooling capacity of the cooler is about 1.6-3.6 kW and the capacity control is about 40-100%. The system showed the highest efficiency when the rotational speed is about 45-70 Hz. The results can be used as the basic design data to control an industrial cooler.

  • RP techniques have inherent disadvantages caused by their working principles: stair-stepped surface of parts due to layer-by-layer stacking of layers, low build speed caused by line-by-line solidification to finish one layer, and post processing to improve surface finish, etc. The objective of this study is to propose a new RP technique, variable deposition manufacturing (VDM), which can make up for the disadvantages of the existing RP techniques, and to develop an apparatus to implement the technique. The proposed process can greatly reduce the building time and improve the surface finish of parts generated. The experiments are carried out to obtain the range of temperature of molten material to maintain its fluidity and to investigate the effect of gas cooling on the preservation of the slopes. Based on the results, some simple shapes such as a line-shape. an S-shape, and a circle-shape were fabricated from Ethylene Vinyl Acetatecopolymer (EVA). In order to examine the applicability of VDM to more general shapes, a tensile specimen and a yo-yo shape were manufactured by the proposed RP method using EVA material as the first trial approach. The present basic study has shown the possibility of a practicable utilization of the proposed VDM process to prototyping of a general three-dimensional shape.

  • 회귀모형에서 범주형 변수를 독립변수로 포함시켜야 할 경우가 발생한다. 회귀모형의 범주형 변수는 가변수를 통해 수량화된다. 이 연구에서는 하나의 양적 독립변수와 하나 혹은 두 개의 범주형 독립변수를 가지는 회귀모형에 대해 가설검정 결과와 함께 회귀직선을 보여주는 교육용 도구를 엑셀 VBA (Visual Basic for application)를 통해서 구현한다. 가설검정 결과와 회귀직선은 교호작용이 포함된 모형, 교호작용이 없는 모형 및 가변수가 없는 모형에 대해 단계별로 제공된다. 이 교육도구를 통해 가변수와 교호작용의 의미를 더 쉽게 이해할 수 있으며, 나아가 어떤 모형이 주어진 자료에 가장 적합한지 그림을 통해 판단할 수 있게 된다.

의복디자인의 선이 체형에 미치는 착시효과 (The Optial Illusion Effect of Clothing Design Line on Body Type)

  • Even though modem ideal body type is rather tall and slim one, most of women don't coincide with it exactly. The objective of this research was to study the optical illusion effect of clothing design line so that average Korean women can approach the modern ideal body type. This research also tried to show the more scientific method to make stimulus by computer simulation and to present quantitative data. For the experiment, 9 design variables were selected from design principal book as follows : waistline level, skirt length, horizontal line emphasis, vertical line emphasis. princess line, vertical stripe, horizontal stripe, diagonal stripe. Each variable was divided into 4 levels so that 36 experimental designs were made. Visual stimuli which same model was wearing each design were recreated by the CAD system. These were given to evaluating panels through slide projecter. Then panels compared experimental design with basic design by 'tall effect' and 'slim effect', All the data from the experiment were analyszed by ANOVA and DUNCAN test for multiple comparison to study significance, direction(positive or negative), degree, proper extent of optical illusion effect. The result showed that some designs have optical illusion effect to make better look. In addition, it proved that the stronger design variable does not mean the more optical illusion effect and there was proper extent which produce the best illusion effect in each design variable.

  • This study compared the density of fish determined using three different echogram methods: the frequency-difference, time variable, and threshold modification methods. An acoustic survey was conducted off the coast of Jeju Island after sunset. Data at 38 and 120 kHz frequencies were collected using a commercial fishing vessel. As a reference point, the value of ${\Delta}MVBS_{120-38kHz}$ that distinguished fish from zooplankton using the 38 and 120 kHz frequencies was set at < 2 dB. The estimated density of fish along the survey line was 0.1-30.4, 0.1-64.3, and $0.1-51.7m^2/nmi^2$ using the frequency difference, time variable threshold, and threshold modification methods, respectively. The results of this study constitute basic research for estimating fish densities.

가변길이 SIMD구조 쉐이더 명령어 및 컴파일러 설계 (Design of Compiler & Variable-Length Instructions for SIMD Structured Shader)

  • 본 논문에서는 3차원 그래픽 쉐이더 3.0 API를 지원하는 쉐이더 명령어 및 컴파일러를 설계하고 그 결과를 평가한다. 기존의 명령어와는 달리 가변길이의 명령어 구조를 제안하고 명령어의 길이를 줄여 SIMD(Single Instruction Multiple Data)구조의 그래픽 프로세서의 하드웨어 크기를 줄일 수 있다. 가변길이 및 2 페이즈 구조의 명령어를 지원하며 ESSL(ES Shading Language) 수준에서 쉐이더 프로그램이 가능한 쉐이더 컴파일러의 설계를 수행하였다. 명령어와 컴파일러 설계 결과를 검증하기 위하여 크로노스그룹에서 제안하는 Conformance Test를 수행하였다. 그 결과로 제공하는 기본 GL 쉐이더의 기능 16개를 비교하여 보았을 때 전체 평균 37%가 줄어드는 것을 알 수 있다.
