When using non KS aggregate muck pile in general, compared to when using KS aggregate, when obtaining an identical slump a high unit quantity of water was confirmed, and when designing the concrete mix the compressive strength of concrete decreased due to an increase in W/B. Therefore because the use of non KS aggregate decreases the liquidity, strength and durability etc. qualities of concrete from an overall performance point of view, there is a need for the used of KS aggregate and when using aggregate that does not adhere to KS standards, it is determined there is a need for appropriate concrete mix design and care.

We focus on the slicing off some sub-nets using the transitive matrix. Control flows in the Petri nets is done based on the token flows. One control f]ow explains the independent tokens status and if the token-in divides into several tokens after firing a transition then the control flow divides to several flows, as well. Accordingly, we define that the basic unit of concur-rency (short BUC) is a set of the executed control flows based on the behavioral properties in the net. The BUC is S-invariant which has one control flow. We show the usefulness of transitive matrix to slice off some subnets from the original net based on BUC-through on an example.

Present structure design has a problem arising from the fact that present apartment housing design doesn't satisfy user's diverse demand. An aim of this study on searching out the alternative to solve this problem. The results of study are as follows : 1) Methods of flexible structure are analyzed to reflect user's needs and practical example of those proposed. 2) To raise the flexibility of design reinforced concrete pannel wall system are selected. The basic types of T and II for the figures of pannel are adopted. As a result it brought so much open space not having influenced on the load of construction that it enhances the flexibility of the space allocation. Also that made it easy to meet the user's demand for 8 kinds of plan types are easily designed according to the arrangement of the space and its scale. These results will become basic data of future unit plan design in apartment housing.

This paper describes a method for region segmentation and string extractionin documents which are mixed with text, graphic and picture images by the use of the structural characteristic of connceted components. In segmentation of non-text regionas, with connection-characteristic functions which are made by structural characteristic of connected components, segmentation process is progressed. In the string extraction, first we organize basic-unit-region of which vertical and horizontal length are 1/4 of average length of connection components. Second, by merging the basic-unit-regions one other that have smaller values than a given connection intensity threshold. Third, by linking the word blocks with similar block anagles, initial strings are cresed. Finally the whold strings are generated by merging remaining word blocks whose angles are not decided, if their height and prosition are similar to the initial strings. This method can extract strings that are neither horizontal nor of various character sizes. Through computer exteriments with different style documents, we have shown that the feasibility of our method successes.

We have explored the five-element pattern of "River Table(河圖)" in the "Naegyeong(內經)", and conclude that this pattern is one of the five-element patterns applied in the "Naegyeong". Based on this pattern, we can exactly understand the eum(陰) and yang(陽) range of five Jang-organs, why the spleen is the extreme eum, why the spleen is the isolated Jang, how the spleen governs four seasons, the ascending and descending of visceral gi(氣), as well as why it can be applied in clinic that the spleen and stomach are the pivot of the ascending and descending of visceral gi(氣).

Hangul search functionality, including dictionary search is used in many Hangeul applications. Existing research of hangeul search method is the study of using hangeul syllable as a basic unit. However when you consider the characteristics of Hangul, the research of using hangeul character as a basic unit is needed. In this paper we propose the character based hangeul search method using the location-specific frequency information and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method through the experiments.

This paper proposes a new snubber circuit for multilevel inverter and converter. The snubber circuit makes use of Undeland snubber as basic snubber unit and can be regraded as a generalized Undeland snubber. The proposed snubber keeps such good features as fewer number of components, improved efficiency due to low loss snubber, capability of clamping overvoltage across main switching devices, and no unbalance problem of blocking voltage. Furthermore, the proposed concept of constructing a snubber circuit for multilevel inverter and converter can apply to any kind of basic snubber unit such as Holtz nondissipative snubber, McMurray efficient snubber, Lauritzen lossless snubber, etc which have been utilized for two-level inveter.

As a part of recent CO₂ emission reduction studies in the concrete industry with active use of concrete admixtures with low basic unit of CO₂ emission such as blast furnace slag (BFS), basic unit of CO₂ emission by SBFS was computed in order to assess CO₂ emission by reinforced concrete building with smart blast furnace slag (SBFS). In addition, SBFS concrete was applied to the subject building for assessment of CO₂ emission during material production step among construction steps. Life cycle CO₂ emission assessment on the subject building was classified into 7cases according to mix ratio of BFS and SBFS.

Rapid urbanization occurred a variety of transportation problems. Parking problem is one of the most problems of transportation problem then transportation engineers would get involved in trying to solve parking problem. A way to overcome a variety of parking problems needs preliminary data for conditions of parking but it lacks the preliminary data to do so. Thus this study analyzed a characteristic of a parking through a field survey for parking in Daegu Metropolitan City and Ulsan Metropolitan City. This study analyzed parking turnover, parking use ratio and parking basic unit for characteristic of a parking of each use districts and each cities. This study result reveals difference between the use districts' parking characteristic and cities' parking characteristic. Thus a close examination for use districts' parking characteristic and cities' parking characteristic is a prerequisite for a rational parking policy.
