In this paper, a study on the prediction method of basic wind speed at the construction site of long-span bridge using short-term measurements was conducted. To determine the basic wind speed in the wind resistant design for the long-span bridge away from the weather station, statistical analysis of long-term data at site is required. Wind observation mast was installed at site, and short-term measurements were gathered and the correlation analysis between the site and the station was done using regression analysis and MCP(Measure-Correlate-Predict). The long-term wind data of the site was obtained from correlation formula after topographical revision of long-term data of the station. And basic wind speed could be estimated by extreme probability distribution analysis. The research results show that the wind speed by regression analysis is predicted lower than by MCP and after this study a series of correlation analyses at several sites will show clearly the difference two methods. And also a quality control of long-term wind data is very important in estimation of wind speed.

This paper develops methodology in order to consider CHP(Combined Heat and Power) capacity in the Basic Plan of Long Term Electricity Supply & Demand. We develop generating cost of CHP considering electric and heat. Also we develop mixed load duration curve which includes the electric load and heat load and then apply CHP capacity to SCM(Screening Curve Method) considering CHP feature. Accordingly, it decide the optimal CHP capacity in the Basic Plan of Long Term Electricity Supply & Demand. Also, We perform the sensitivity analysis according to cost variation.

With the development of indexing and retrieval techniques and the trends of information retrieval environment becoming more and more user-friendly, existing guideline for international thesaurus establishment standards and basic term relations currently used in thesaurus have become to longer adequate. The purpose of this study is to present solutions to expanding term relations which will fit new information retrieval environment. This report views standards for ISO 2788 and ANSI/NISO Z 39.19, and compares and analyzes 20 thesaurus basis term relations currently used both at home and abroad(14 overseas and 6 in Korea) to find out problems and limitations. Based on findings of the study, this report suggests how to expand thesaurus basic term relations to accomodate changes in information retrieval environment.

Sildenafil citrate (SIL) a phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor (PDE5I) has been used for long time as a first line oral drug for erectile dysfunction. Though it has beneficial effects on erectile organ it also has some adverse effects in other cells and/or tissues related to reproductive system when exposed to longer duration. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the long term effect of SIL on sperm parameters in Wistar albino rat. The animals are divided into two groups, for group I - rats were treated with saline (vehicle alone) and group - II oral administration of 5 mg/kg b.w. of SIL was administrated orally once in a day for 120 days. At the end of the trial period animals were sacrificed and epididymal sperm were subjected to various analysis. Results showed significant reduction in sperm count, motility, viability and morphologically intact sperm in long term PDE5I exposed animals when compared to control. Acrosomal status and fertility test also showed significant reduction in long term PDE5I exposed animals. The present study clearly indicated that long term SIL has shown to induce alteration in sperm quality and quantity, leading to decline in fertility rate. Indicate that SIL impinge on spermatogenesis as well as epididymal function. Understanding the molecular down-stream events involved in long-term exposure to PDE5 inhibitor can be valuable to supervise on related infertility issues and to suggest corrective measures.

The purpose of this study was to estimate the shelf-life of Ssanghwa-tang by long-term storage test. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the stability such as the selected physicochemical, pH, identification, heavy metal, microbiological experiment under a long-term storage test of Ssanghwa-tang. The significant change was not showed in pH, heavy metal, microbiological, identification test and quantitative analysis based on long-term storage test. The contents of albiflorin, paeoniflorin, cinnamic acid, liquiritin, and glycyrrhizin in long-term storage test were 66.8-93.1 ${\mu}g/mL$, 429.0-495.0 ${\mu}g/mL$, 3.8-4.4 ${\mu}g/mL$, 32.0-38.1 ${\mu}g/mL$, and 66.8-71.7 ${\mu}g/mL$, respectively. Shelf-lifes by 5 compounds about 3 lots at room temperature were predicted 21-37, 14-21, and 16-72 months, respectively. The suggested shelf-life would be helpful on the storage and distribution of herbal medicine.

This paper addresses methodology in order to consider CHP (Combined Heat and Power) capacity in the Basic Plan of Long Term Electricity Supply & Demand and presents effects on it. The method performs state in extent that do not change maximum in the Basic Plan of Long Term Electricity Supply & Demand. For analysis that occurs some advantage this method compares with Basic Plan of Long Term Electricity Supply & Demand. It includes EES (Expected Energy Served), Fuel consumption, amount of $CO_{2}$ emission reduction.

After restructuring electricity industry, national long term electricity plans moved to "Basic plan of electricity supply and demand" from "Long term power development plan". The main point is a change of path from plan of power development at national level to plan of electricity supply and demand at company level. A proposal by generation company is surveyed and reflected to the basic plan of electricity supply and demand. The second plan shows over 40% reserves in result of the proposals. It is the time to evaluating the proposal which covers market function in the basic plan of electricity supply and demand at the stage of market change. This research presents the need of evaluation of proposals and the methods of evaluation. Also it presents the alternative planning procedure to reflecting the evaluation methods.

This study presents rational methods for probability-based estimates of basic design wind speeds in Korea and proposes a risk-based nation-wide map of design wind speeds. The paper examines the fittings of the extreme Type I mode to largest yearly non-typhoon wind data from long-term records, and to largest monthly non-typhoon wind data from short-term records. For the estimation of the extreme typhoon wins speed distribution, an indirect analytical method based on a Monte-Carlo simulation is applied to typhoon-prone regions. The basic desig wind speeds for typhoon and non-typhoon winds at the sites of concern are made to be obtained from the mixed model given as a product of the two distributions. The results of this study show that the proposed models and methods provide a practicable tool for the development of the risk-based basic design wind speed and the design wind map from short-term station records currently available in Korea.

In this study, I analysed the influence of the Korean Officially Supported Export Credit System upon Improvement upon Korean Export, investigated Korean Officially Supported Export Credit System focussing on the Short-term Export Loan System & Medium and Long-term Export Loan System in Korea Eximbank and sought for the measures overcoming problems therewith. In my research I started from a basic model analyzing Short-term Export Loan & Medium and Long-term Export Loan using added several variables that have effect on export such export relative price, world income and the amount of post-shipment credit bank guarantee. As a result, amount of Short-term Export Loan & Medium and Long-term Export Loan, world income and export relative price showed expected responses and Short-term Export Loan was significant. In case of amount of Short-term Export Loan System was statistical significance.

Basically the word is based on a conception of energy conservation for human activities.
