Base Metal 가격상승과 중국의 경제성장 (Base Metal's Price Hike and Chinese Economic Growth)

  • 미국발 금융위기 여파로 세계경제가 침체되변서 LME의 base metal 가격이 2008년 4/4, 분기 급락하였으나, 2009년 1-7월 거시경제 회복신호와 함께 base metal 가격이 다시 상승세를 보였다. Base meta1 상승 배경에는 미국 기업들의 개선된 실적 발표로 산업생산 및 제조업지수가 개선된 것 미달러화 약세로 인한 원자재 가격 상승, 그리고 무엇보다도 세계 금융 위기 속에도 경제성장을 위한 중국의 원자재 수요 증가가 주요 원인으로 꼽힌다. 이에 본 논문에서는 base metal 가격상승에 주요 base metal소비국의 수요가 영향을 주었는지를 중국 및 주요국 경제성장률을 가지고 회귀분석 하였다. 분석결과 중국의 경제 성장만이 LME시장의 base metal 가격상승에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 이런 결과에도 불구하고, 그동안 중국 상품의 주요 소비시장이었던 미국, 유럽 동 선진국들 경제의 본격적인 회복 없이 중국경제만으로 base metal 가격 상승랠리가 지속될지 여부를 보고자 한다.

This research unites Back Steel and Aluminium Alloy different kind metal and make the Clad river studying technology about union of Gogangseong Dacheung metal bearing hereupon.

VECM모형을 이용한 국내 희유금속의 수요예측모형 (A Study on Demand Forecasting Model of Domestic Rare Metal Using VECM model)

  • The rare metals, used for semiconductors, PDP-LCS and other specialized metal areas necessarily, has been playing a key role for the Korean economic development. Rare metals are influenced by exogenous variables, such as production quantity, price and supplied areas. Nowadays the supply base of rare metals is threatened by the sudden increase in price. For the stable supply of rare metals, a rational demand outlook is needed. In this study, focusing on the domestic demand for chromium, the uncertainty and probability materializing from demand and price is analyzed, further, a demand forecast model, which takes into account various exogenous variables, is suggested, differing from the previously static model. Also, through the OOS(out-of-sampling) method, comparing to the preexistence ARIMA model, ARMAX model, multiple regression analysis model and ECM(Error Correction Mode) model, we will verify the superiority of suggested model in this study.

5% 황산용액에서 배기밸브 보수 용접부의 부식 특성에 미치는 용접방법과 용접봉의 영향-1 (Effect of Welding method and Welding Material to Corrosion Property of Repair Weld Zone for Exhaust Valve in 5% H2SO4 Solution -1)

  • Recently a fuel oil of the diesel engine in the ship is being changed with low quality as the oil price is higher more and more. Therefore the wear and corrosion in all parts of the engine like cylinder liner ring groove of piston crown, spindle and seat ring of exhaust valve are increased with using of heavy oil of low quality In particular the degree of wear and corrosion in between valve spindle and seat ring are more serious compared to the other parts of the engine due to operating in severe environment such as the high temperature of exhaust gas and repeating impact. Thus the repair weld to the valve spindle and seat ring is a unique method to prolong the life of the exhaust valve in an economical point of view In this study. corrosion property of both weld metal zone and base metal was investigated with some electrochemical methods such as measurement of corrosion potential, cathodic and anodic polarization curves, cyclic voltammogram and polarization resistance etc. in 5% $H_2SO_4$ solution. in the case of being welded with some welding methods and welding materials to the exhaust valve specimen as the base metal. In all cases. the values of hardness of the weld metal zone were more high than that of the base metal. And their corrosion resistance were also superior to the base metal. The weld metal of A2F(AC SMAW: 2 pass welding with foreign electrode) showed a relatively good results to the corrosion resistance as well as the hardness compared to the ether welding methods and welding materials. Moreover it indicated that hardness of the weld metal by the domestic electrode was considerably high compared to that of the foreign electrode.

배기밸브 보수 용접부의 부식 특성에 관한 전기화학적 연구 (An Electrochemical Study on Corrosion Property of Repair Welding Part for Exhaust Valve)

  • The diesel engine of the merchant ship has been aperated in severe environments more and more, because the temperature of the exhaust gas of a combustion chamber is getting higher and higher with increasing use of heavy oil of law quality, due to the significant increase in the price of oil in recent some years. As a result, the degree of wear and corrosion between exhaust valve and seat ring is more serious compared to other engine parts. Thus the repair welding of exhaust valve and seat ring is a unique method to prolong the life of the exhaust valve, from an economical point of view. In this study, the corrosion property of both weld metal and base metal was investigated using electrochemical methods such as measurement of corrosion potential, cathodic and anodic polarization curves, cyclic voltammogram, and polarization resistance in 5% H2SO4 solution. The test specimen was a part of an exhaust valve stem being welded as the base metal, using various welding methods. In all cases, the corrosion resistance as well as hardness of the weld metal zone was superior to the base metal. In particular, plasma welding showed relatively good properties for both corrosion resistance and hardness, compared to other welding methods. In the case of DC SMAW (Shielded metal arc welding), corrosion resistance of the weld metal zone was better than that of the base metal, although its hardness was almost same as the base metal.

Corrosion Characteristics of Welding Zones Welded with 1.25Cr-0.5 Mo Filler Metal to Forged Steel for Piston Crown Material

  • A heavy oil of low quality has been mainly used in the diesel engine of the merchant ship as the oil price has been significantly jumped for several years. Thus, a combustion chamber of the engine has been often exposed to severely corrosive environment more and more because temperature of the exhaust gas of the combustion chamber has been getting higher and higher with increasing of using the heavy oil of low quality. As a result, wear and corrosion of the engine parts such as exhaust valve, piston crown and cylinder head surrounded with combustion chamber are more serious compared to the other parts of the engine. Therefore, an optimum repair welding for these engine parts is very important to prolong their lifetime in a economical point of view. In this study, 1.25Cr-0.5Mo filler metal was welded with SMAW method in the forged steel which would be generally used with piston crown material. And the corrosion properties of weld metal, heat affected and base metal zones were investigated using electrochemical methods such as measurement of corrosion potential, anodic polarization curves, cyclic voltammogram and impedance etc. in 35% $H_2SO_4$ solution. The weld metal and base metal zones exhibited the highest and lowest values of hardness respectively. And, the corrosion resistance of the heat affected and weld metal zones was also increased than that of the base metal zone. Furthermore, it appeared that the corrosive products with red color and local corrosion like as a pitting corrosion were more frequently observed on the surface of the base metal zone compared to the heat affected and weld metal zones. Consequently, it is suggested that the mechanical and corrosion characteristics of the piston crown can be predominantly improved by repair welding method using the 1.25Cr-0.5Mo electrode.

  • 우리나라 경제의 근간을 이루고 있는 철강산업, 자동차산업이나 전자산업에서 전기도금은 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 전기도금 폐액은 전처리, 도금 및 후처리과정에서 발생하는 폐액이고 다양한 금속염을 포함한 유해한 폐수이다. 현재 일반적인 폐수는 환경법상 배수 규제치 이하로 중화처리한 후 각종 금속이 혼합된 슬러지는 매립하거나 위탁처리하고 있는데, 처리에 따른 막대한 비용이 들뿐만 아니라 매립지 부족과 유가금속 자원 낭비를 초래하고 있다. 따라서 이러한 폐수에서 유가금속을 회수하는 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 전기도금 폐액에서 금속을 선택적으로 회수하는 새로운 방법은 철산화세균을 이용하는 방법, 황화제를 이용한 황화물(MS) 회수법 및 유기용매를 이용한 용매추출법 등에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이들의 폐수처리방법을 이용하여 Fe, Cu, Zn, Ni 등의 금속이온이 혼합된 폐수에서 유가금속을 95%이상 회수하는 성과를 거두었다. 이는 전기도금공정에서 배출되는 폐수를 폐기할 것이 아니라 도시광산의 중요한 금속자원으로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

Characteristics Evaluation on Welding Metal Zones Welded with Inconel 625 Filler Metal to Cast Steel for Piston Crown Material

In this study, Inconel 625 filler metal were welded with GTAW method in the cast steel which would be generally used with piston crown material. And the corrosion properties of weld metal, heat affected and base metal zones were investigated using electrochemical methods such as measurement of corrosion potential, anodic polarization curves, cyclic voltammogram and impedance etc. in 35% $H_2SO_4$ solution. The weld metal and base metal zones exhibited the highest and lowest values of hardness respectively. Furthermore, the corrosion current density of the weld metal zone revealed the lowest value, having the highest value of hardness. The corrosive products with red color and local corrosion like as a pitting corrosion were considerably observed at the base metal zone, while these morphologies were not wholly observed in the weld metal zone. In particular, the polarization characteristics such as impedance, polarization curve and cyclic voltammogran associated with corrosion resistance property were well in good agreement with each other. Consequently, it is suggested that the mechanical and corrosion characteristics of the piston crown can be predominantly improved by repair welding method using the Inconel 625 electrode.

용접재료별 단강 피스톤 크라운 용접부위의 부식특성에 대한 평가 (Evaluation of the corrosion property on the welded zone of forged steel piston crown with types of filler metals)

  • 최근 수년 동안 유가의 현저한 상승으로 인하여 상선의 디젤 기관은 저질 중유를 주로 사용하게 되었다. 따라서 저질 중유의 사용 증가에 따른 디젤 기관의 연소실 배기가스 온도는 점차 상승하여 가혹한 부식 환경에 직면하게 되었다. 그 결과 연소실 주변의 모든 기관 부품들의 부식과 마모는 다른 기관 부품들에 비해서 심각하다. 그러므로 이들 부품들의 적절한 덧살 용접은 수명 연장을 위하여 경제적인 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 피스톤 크라운 재질로 통상 사용되는 단강에 4종류의 용접재료로 SMAW와 GTAW로 용접하였다. 실험은 모재, 열영향부 및 용접금속의 부식 특성을 35% 황산용액에서 부식전위, 양극분극 곡선, 사이클릭볼타모그램 및 임피던스 등의 전기화학적인 방법으로 하여 고찰하였다. Inconel 625, 718 용접재료의 경우 용접금속의 내식성이 가장 우수하였고, 모재의 내식성이 가장 좋지 않았으며, 반면에 1.25Cr-0.5Mo와 0.5Mo는 모재가 용접금속에 비해서 더 좋은 내식성을 나타내었다. 또한, 용접금속 중 Inconel 625가 가장 내식성이 우수하였으며, 그 다음으로 Inconel 718 용접재료로 나타났다. 경도 역시 용접금속이 상대적으로 모재, 열영향부에 비해서 높은 값을 나타내었다. 특히 Inconel 718 용접재료의 경우 다른 용접재료에 비하여 가장 높은 경도값을 나타내었다.

  • 안정적인 천연자원의 공급을 통해 오랫동안 국가산업화에 이바지해온 일본의 광산산업은 산업구조의 개편에 따라 하향추세를 맞아 현재는 세 곳의 주요 광산만이 가행중이다. 최근 경제사정의 변화로 새로운 비금속광상의 개발이 어려워짐에 따라 매장량과 품위에 있어 경제적 가치를 갖는 천열수금광상으로 관심이 옮겨가고 있는 추세이다. 1970년대 후반의 급격한 금가격 상승은 환태평양 지역의 천열수금광상에 대한 지질학적 정보와 이해를 증가시키는 역할을 했으며, 특히 판구조론의 확립과 더불어 지열수계와 화석천열수계의 대비라는 가장 중요한 발전이 이루어졌다. 1988년에는 광산협회에서 천열수금광상의 개발을 목표로 일본내 19개 지역의 탐사를 인가했으며, 1989년부터는 준정부기관인 금속광업국에서 이 지역들의 금탐사를 수행해왔다. 광상성인에 관한 신개념과 새로운 탐사기술로 유망한 금광화대가 발견되어 왔으며 개발이 진척된 곳은 홋카이도 북부의 세타지역과 큐슈 중부의 노야지역이다.
