공간 빅데이터와 야간 위성영상을 활용한 도시 활력 평가: 대구시를 사례로 (Urban Vitality Assessment Using Spatial Big Data and Nighttime Light Satellite Image: A Case Study of Daegu)

  • 본 연구는 공간 빅데이터, 공공 Wi-Fi AP와 야간 위성영상과 같은 새로운 지리 데이터를 활용하여 2018년 대구광역시의 도시 활력을 평가하였다. 새로운 지리 데이터는 다양한 시공간 스케일에서 도시민의 활동을 보다 직접적으로 파악하기 위하여 본 연구에서 사용되었다. 이동전화 데이터, 대중교통 스마트카드 데이터, 신용카드 데이터와 같은 세 가지 공간 빅데이터가 도시 활력의 사회적, 경제적 및 모빌리티 측면을 반영하기 위하여 사용되었다. 반면에, 공중 Wi-Fi AP와 야간 위성영상은 도시 활력의 가상적 및 물리적 측면을 고려하기 위하여 사용되었다. 다섯 개의 도시활력 지표들은 주성분 분석을 통해 통합되어 네 개의 시간대에서 집계구별 도시 활력 지수로 변환 되었다. 연구 결과에 의하면, 높은 도시 활력을 가진 다섯 개의 클러스터가 대구 도심, 대구은행 네거리와 범어역 네거리, 성서, 동대구역, 칠곡 3지구 주변에서 확인되었다. 또한, 도시 활력 지수는 같은 도시 공간상에서도 시간대별로 변한다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 도시 활력을 측정하기 위한 대리변수로 공간 빅데이터, 공공 Wi-Fi AP, 야간 위성영상을 통합하여 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 1993년 야간 가시밴드 위성원격탐사 DMSP/OLS 자료를 이용하여 동해 전해역 야간 어선의 시공간적 변화를 GIS(Geographic Information System)에 적용하여 살펴보았다. 야간 어선의 월별 및 계절분포를 조사하기 위해 연구 영역을 위도 30$^{\circ}$ $N-44^{\circ} N, 경도 124^{\circ} E-142^{\circ}$ E을 선택했다. 어선의 시공간적 분포 분석에 이용한 GIS 소프트웨어는 ArcView 3.2로서 그 확장기능 중에서 Image Analyst를 이용하였다. 야간 가시밴드 Operational Linescan System(OLS) 영상은 야간 어선의 시공간적 분포에 대한 유용한 정보를 제공한다. 분석된 결과를 보면, 야간 어선이 밀집된 해역은 대마도와 대한해협주변, 한국 동해안 연안지역, 일본 혼슈열도 연안지역, 대화퇴 주변해역이었다

개선된 FIR QMF 뱅크의 설계 방법 (An Improved Design Method of FIR Quadrature Mirror-Image Filter Banks)

  • 본 논문에서는 저지연 특성을 갖는 2 채널 FIR QMF 뱅크를 시간 영역에서 가중 함수를 이용해서 설계하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. QMF 뱅크를 설계할 때에 본 논문에서 사용한 가중 함수는 QMF의 반복 설계 과정에서 얻어진 이전의 필터 계수 벡터를 이용하여 계산한다. 그리고 기존의 방법에서는 왜곡이 생기는 주파수 대역은 천이 대역에서 왜곡이 생기는 특정 주파수 대역을 이용하지만 본 논문에서는 통과 대역과 저지 대역 에지 주파수를 이용한다. 통과 대역과 저지 대역 에지 주파수를 이용함으로써 왜곡이 생기는 특정 주파수 대역을 조사할 필요가 없는 장점이 있다. QMF 뱅크 설계에 적용하기 위해서 제안된 방법의 성능 결과를 기존의 방법과 비교하였으며, 가중 함수와 통과 및 저지 대역 에지 주파수를 이용한 제안된 방법이 가중 함수를 계산하기 때문에 기존의 방법에 비해 연산 성능은 떨어지지만 재생 오차는 최대 0.001[dB], 통과 대역 리플은 0.003[dB] 그리고 백색 잡음에 대한 SNR은 71[dB], 스텝 입력에 대한 SNR은 32[dB] 증가했다.

A Study on the Usability of Digital Humans in New Media Contents

  • This thesis is a study of content development utilizing media outlets to date through digital humans. The trend of global content is that the video content industry, including the character business, is growing. Lil Michela, who was selected as one of the 25 most influential people on the Internet by Time magazine in 2018, Nasua, who appeared in a SK Telecom commercial, and Rosie, who appeared in a Shinhan Bank commercial, are representative. Digital humans, which are driving new content, are computer-generated human characters with various characteristics and are referred to as virtual humans, metahumans, and cyber humans. With the rise of the metaverse after COVID-19, digital humans are being utilized in various forms such as media and marketing as an element of visual content. In the form of media, we can see that the boundaries between the offline and digital worlds are converging, and in the form of marketing, we can see that digital humans connect consumers and products more naturally. In the form of interaction, it is possible to achieve two-way communication through various methods of operation, and through these factors, it is possible to go beyond behavioral communication in the form of memorialization to emotional communication through AI technology. What can be seen through these processes is that through the currently developing digital human production methods and AI functions, not only experts but also non-experts can create quality contents, and new directions of contents will appear, and contents that can provide immediate feedback by bringing consumers and creators closer together have been studied.

Dentin Matrix Block의 치조골 복원 능력에 관한 임상적 연구 (Clinical Study on the Alveolar Bone Repair Capacity of Dentin Matrix Block)

  • In the oral and maxillofacial area, bone defects are created by various reasons and demand for bone grafts, while dental implant implantation has been increased consistently. To solve these problems, there has been development of autogenous tooth-bone graft material (AutoBT$^{(R)}$, Korea Tooth Bank Co., Korea), and we have collected ground reasons to substitute free autobone graft with this material in clinical use. This autogenous tooth-bone graft material is produced in powder type and block type. Block type is useful in esthetic reconstruction of the defect site and vertical and horizontal augmentation of alveolar bone because this type has high strength value, well maintained shape and is less absorbed. Therefore, the author of this study gained favorable result by grafting the block type autogenous tooth-bone graft material after dental implant implantation on the bone defects of the mandibular molar extraction site. Moreover, the author represents this case with literature review after confirming bone remodeling on the computed tomography image and by histological analysis.

Q인자 조절 가능 2차원 이산 웨이브렛 변환 필터의 설계와 성능분석 (Tunable Q-factor 2-D Discrete Wavelet Transformation Filter Design And Performance Analysis)

  • The general wavelet transform has profitable property in non-stationary signal analysis specially. The tunable Q-factor wavelet transform is a fully-discrete wavelet transform for which the Q-factor Q and the asymptotic redundancy r, of the transform are easily and independently specified. In particular, the specified parameters Q and r can be real-valued. Therefore, by tuning Q, the oscillatory behavior of the wavelet can be chosen to match the oscillatory behavior of the signal of interest, so as to enhance the sparsity of a sparse signal representation. The TQWT is well suited to fast algorithms for sparsity-based inverse problems because it is a Parseval frame, easily invertible, and can be efficiently implemented. The transform is based on a real valued scaling factor and is implemented using a perfect reconstruction over-sampled filter bank with real-valued sampling factors. The transform is parameterized by its Q-factor and its over-sampling rate, with modest over-sampling rates being sufficient for the analysis/synthesis functions to be well localized. This paper describes filter design of 2D discrete-time wavelet transform for which the Q-factor is easily specified. With the advantage of this transform, perfect reconstruction filter design and implementation for performance improvement are focused in this paper. Hence, the 2D transform can be tuned according to the oscillatory behavior of the image signal to which it is applied. Therefore, application for performance improvement in multimedia communication field was evaluated.

체험마케팅이 브랜드 자산에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 브랜드 홍보대사를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Experiential Marketing Effect on Brand Equity - Focus on Brand Ambassador for Public Relations -)

  • Experiential marketing focuses on the experience of customers to connect a company and a brand with the lifestyle of customers that influences buying behavior. This study investigates how the persons who experienced brand ambassadors for public relations as experiential marketing recognized brand equity, how personal satisfaction accomplished as a brand ambassador influenced brand equity, and how the effects are different based upon demographic information. The research methodology was a questionnaire distributed to individuals who experienced work as a public relations brand ambassador. A total of 104 returned questionnaires were analyzed by internal validity, t-test, and regression analysis with SPSS 12.0. The results of this study are as follows: Experiential marketing through a public relations brand ambassador positively influenced brand equity. The satisfaction at the company while working as brand ambassador positively influenced brand equity. Experiential marketing influenced more men than women regarding perceived quality and brand loyalty among brand equity. There is no significant differences regarding career (bank or apparel) among brand awareness, brand image, perceived quality, and brand loyalty.

퍼지 양자화를 이용한 초저전송률 동영상 부호기의 율제어 (Rate Control of Very Low Bit-Rate Video Coder using Fuzzy Quantization)

  • 본 연구에서는 H.263 부호기에서 양자화 변수의 추정을 위한 퍼지 제어기를 제안한다. 퍼지화 방법으로는 Mamdani법을 이용하였으며, 비퍼지화는 무게 중심법을 이용한다. 퍼지 입력변수로는 영상의 분산값, 엔트로피 및 현재의 움직임 벡터와 이전 영상의 움직임 벡터를 이용한다. 분산값과 엔트로피는 공간영역 특징을 반영하며, 움직임 벡터는 시간영역의 특징을 반영한다. 시각적인 특성에 적합하게 퍼지변수를 결정하며 퍼지 소속함수를 유도하여, 퍼지 규칙의 수를 줄이도록 FAM bank를 설계한다. 퍼지 양자화를 실제 동영상 압축에 적용함으로써 복원영상의 화질 특성이 향상되고, 율제어가 효과적으로 이루어지는 결과를 얻을 수 있음을 보인다.

Critical Factors Affecting Consumer Intention of Using Mobile Banking Applications During COVID-19 Pandemic: An Empirical Study from Vietnam

  • The study analyzes the factors affecting the intention and recommendation to use the mobile banking applications of 314 customers from Vietnam. The study analyzes 7 factors affecting the intention and recommendation to use the mobile banking applications of customers from Vietnam, including (i) Perceived risk; (ii) Perceived ease of use; (iii) Perceived usefulness; (iv) Attitude; (v) Perceived trust; (vi) Social image; and (vii) Innovativeness. Besides, the study also analyzes 4 variables that reflect the customer's demographics, including gender, age, education, and occupation, and 6 variables describing the behavior of customers using mobile banking applications. The study findings indicate that the following factors (i) Innovativeness; (ii) Attitude; (iii) Perceived risk; (iv) Perceived ease of use, and (v) Perceived trust have the most significant impact on customers' behavior of using mobile banking applications in emerging markets such as Vietnam in the context of prolonged pandemic and continuous lockdown in many provinces and cities. The study is also of great value to studies on behavior changes among customers using mobile banking applications after the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam. The study will provide additional empirical evidence useful to bank administrators in motivating customers to use mobile banking applications, helping develop a digital economy in Vietnam.

Barriers to Access Formal Financial Services: An Empirical Study from Indonesia

  • The condition of financial services in Indonesia is unique, based on various characteristics, behaviors, and preferences. Therefore, the study of finance and banking is interesting to study as a recommendation for government policies. This paper aims to analyze the barriers to accessing formal financial services in Indonesia and why informal financial services are preferred. This paper presents a case study of financial inclusion in selected provinces in Indonesia using the SOFIA dataset from the Ministry of National Development Planning. Overall, this data consists of 20,000 individuals from 4 provinces and 93 regions representing the population in eastern Indonesia. The analysis was carried out by processing individual-level cross-sectional data surveyed in 2017 using the probit binary logistic method. The results identify the individual barriers in accessing formal financial services, including account ownership, saving, and credit activities in the formal financial institutions, and amplify the image by analyzing what determinants affect people to choose informal institutions. We found that some individual characteristics such as age, gender, education, income, employment status, residence, and access to technology significantly affect the barrier to formal financial services in East Indonesia.
