치과위생사의 아동학대 인식 및 신고 의무태도에 관한 연구 (Perception of child abuse and attitudes towards mandatory reporting among dental hygienist)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to enhance the role of dental hygienists by identifying perceptions of child abuse, attitude towards reporting obligations, and awareness of the reporting system, and providing basic data for early detection and reporting of child abuse reporting obligations. Methods: From 2021-06-20 to 2021-09-09, 156 dental hygienists working at dental clinics and hospitals in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do were surveyed. Statistical analyses were performed using t-tests, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis. Results: The points for awareness of child abuse, obligatory reporting attitude, and awareness of mandatory reporting system were found to be 3.52, 3.01, and 2.30, respectively. A significant positive correlation was observed between the negative attitude to report child abuse (r=0.332, p<0.01) and the perception of the mandatory reporting system (r=0.343, p<0.01). Conclusions: This study confirmed that various educational programs and research are needed for the early detection and reporting of child abuse by dental hygienists.

치매 인식과 태도가 노화불안에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Dementia Perception and Attitude on Aging Anxiety)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 치매에 대한 인식과 태도가 노화불안에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 노화불안을 줄이고 효과적인 치매예방 및 관리방안 마련을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구대상은 충북 J시에 거주하는 시민 509명을 대상으로 하였으며 치매 인식과 태도가 노화불안에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 노화불안에 영향을 미치는 요인은 치매 인식이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 치매 인식이 낮을수록 노화불안이 높아진다는 것을 의미한다. 그러나 치매 태도는 노화불안에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 근거로 정책제언을 하면 첫째, 치매 인식 증진을 위한 체계적인 교육과 교육 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. 둘째, 치매 인식개선을 위한 홍보 강화가 필요하다. 셋째, 치매 인식 향상을 위한 지역사회 네트워크 구축이 필요하다.

간호대학생의 사전의료의향서에 대한 태도 영향 요인 (Factors Influencing Attitude Toward Advance Directive in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify nursing students' knowledge and attitude toward advance directives and factors influencing the attitude. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used and 196 nursing students participated in the study. Data were collected from July 1 to August 30, 2018 using a structured questionnaire which included biomedical ethics, awareness of good death, knowledge and attitude toward advance directives. Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 25.0 program with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression. Results: The mean score of biomedical ethics, awareness of good death, knowledge and attitude toward advance directives were $2.88{\pm}0.59$, $3.18{\pm}0.48$, $7.68{\pm}31.32$, $31.00{\pm}3.09$. Factors influencing the attitude toward advance directives were awareness of good death (${\beta}=.28$, p<.001), intention of writing their advance directives (${\beta}=.19$, p=.006), the knowledge related to advance directives (${\beta}=.15$, p=.029). A total of 14% of attitude toward advance directives was explained by awareness of good death, the knowledge related to advance directives, and ntention of writing their advance directives. Conclusion: The findings of the study indicate that it is necessary to provide a systemic education program regarding advance directives for nursing students in order to provide knowledge related to advance directives and to help them establish positive attitudes toward advance directives.

팬데믹 상황에서 간호대학생의 윤리인식, 윤리적 의사결정 및 감염관리지침 수행태도가 감염관리지침 수행의도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Nursing Students' Ethical Awareness, Ethical Decision-making and Attitude toward Performance on Intention about Performance of Infection Control Guidelines in Pandemic Infectious Diseases)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of nursing students' ethical awareness, ethical decision-making and attitude toward performance on intention about performance of infection control guidelines in pandemic infectious diseases. Methods: The survey was performed on 163 nursing students in three universities. Data were collected using a structured questionnaires and analyzed with t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: Perceived health status, ethical awareness and attitude toward performance of infection control guidelines about major commitment were significant predictive variables. These variables accounted for 48.1% of the variance in major commitment. Conclusion: The findings indicate the necessity of developing educational programs to enhance nursing students's ethical awareness, and increase performance of control guidelines to prepare for the pandemic infectious diseases.

외모에 대한 사회문화적 태도와 객체화 신체의식이 남성 소비자의 외모관리행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Sociocultural Attitude toward Appearance and Objectified Body Consciousness on Male Consumer'Appearance Management Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of sociocultural attitudes toward appearance and objectified body consciousness on male consumer' appearance management behavior. The subjects were 648 males aged from 20 to 59 years old, and the questionnaire consisted of sociocultural attitude toward appearance, objectified body consciousness, appearance management behavior, and subject' demographic characteristics. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, and regression analysis. The results were as follows. Three dimensions(appearance importance awareness, slimness importance awareness, and internalization) were emerged on sociocultural attitude toward appearance. Three dimensions(body shame, body surveillance, and control belief) were emerged on objectified body consciousness. Five dimensions(skin, hair, body, fashion, and plastic surgery management) were emerged on appearance management behavior. In sociocultural attitude toward appearance dimensions, appearance importance awareness and internalization had important effects on appearance management behavior. In objectified body consciousness dimensions, body shame and control belief had important effects on appearance management behavior. This results concluded that sociocultural attitude toward appearance and objectified body consciousness are important variables to understand on male consumer' appearance management behavior.

  • 본 연구는 초등학생(4~6학년)을 대상으로 부모의 태도와 인권의식, 자아존중감과의 관계를 토대로 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모의 태도가 인권의식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 자아존중감이 부모의 태도와 인권의식 관계를 매개하는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구결과 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모태도와 인권의식, 자아존중감의 관계에서 모두 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모태도와 인권의식 관계에서 자아존중감이 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모의 양육태도나 인권의식의 관계를 자아존중감을 통해 구체적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통해 아동의 기본 권리에 자녀의 의사결정과 참여를 존중하는 부모의 역할이 필요하며, 인권의식을 높이는데 자아존중감의 매개적 역할의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.

외모에 대한 사회문화적 태도가 남성 소비자의 의복구매행동과 외모관리행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Sociocultural Attitudes toward Appearance on Male Consumers' Apparel Buying Behavior and Appearance Management Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of sociocultural attitudes toward appearance on male consumers' apparel buying behavior and appearance management behavior. The subjects were 353 males aged from 40 to 59 years old. The research method was a survey and the questionnaire consisted of sociocultural attitude toward appearance items, apparel buying behaviors items, appearance management behaviors items, and subjects' demographic characteristics items. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, cluster analysis, multiple response analysis, ${\chi}2$ test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results were as follows. Three dimensions (appearance importance awareness, slimness importance awareness, internalization) were emerged on sociocultural attitude toward appearance, and subjects were divided into 4 groups(receptive, unreceptive, awareness, and internalized group) by this variable. The 4 groups by sociocultural attitude toward appearance showed many differences on apparel buying behaviors and appearance management behaviors. Receptive and internalized group more importantly regarded fashion trend and store display as apparel buying motives, design and trend as selection criteria, and did shopping to buy clothes more often than awareness and unreceptive group. Receptive and internalized group recognized higher the need for various appearance management behaviors and spent more expense to enhance their appearance than other groups.

공익광고 효과에 미치는 상호작용 영향:광고주 인지도, 광고 소구 및 수용자 관여도와 인지욕구 중심으로 (Effectiveness on Public Advertisement Interaction of Advertiser Awareness, Advertisement Appeal and Customer Involvement and Need for Cognition)

  • This research investigates the interaction effects of factors, namely, advertiser awareness, advertisement appeal, and customer involvement and need for cognition, selected from the parties involved in public service advertisement. Manipulating the participant's involvement, attitude toward the advertisement and the advertiser and intention to donate according to 2 (awareness) X 2 (cognitive/affective appeal) factors were surveyed. In result, participants with high involvement were relatively less affected by advertiser awareness. Also, high need for cognition indicated less effect of advertiser awareness on intention to donate. Moreover, when cognitive appeal is used, advertiser awareness affected less on consumers' attitude toward the advertisement and the advertiser and intention to donate. Further issues on changing customers' attitudes and behaviors are discussed.

  • Purpose: This study was done to analyze nursing students' attitudes to life-sustaining treatment by measuring their awareness of biomedical ethics and resulting attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment. Methods: This study was a descriptive research to assess the level of nursing students' awareness of biomedical ethics, attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment, and correlations between these variables. After the nursing students signed a consent form they were assessed. Data collection was done from September 1 to October 25, 2016, and analyzed using SPSS 23.0 WIM Program. Results: There was a negative correlation and significant difference between nursing students' awareness of biomedical ethics and attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment. There was a significant correlation among attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment and medical ethics, mortality ethics. Conclusion: The findings in the study indicate that it is necessary to provide nursing students with easy access to continuous education to help them establish an acceptable view of withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment.

The Effect of Security Awareness Training on the Use of Biometric Authentication: Focusing on the Protection Motivational Behaviors

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the behavioral factors affecting the security attitude and intention to use biometrics password based on the protection motivation theory. This study also investigates security awareness training to understand trust, privacy, and security vulnerability regarding biometric authentication password. This empirical analysis reveals security awareness training boosts the protection motivational factors that affect on the behavior and intention of using biometric authentication passwords. This study also indicates that biometric authentication passwords can be used when the overall belief in a biometric system is present. After all, security awareness training enhances the belief of biometric passwords and increase the motivation to protect security threats. The study will provide insights into protecting security vulnerability with security awareness training.
