경량형 시트 쿠션 익스텐션 모듈 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Lightweight Seat Cushion Extension Module)

  • 자동차 시트는 운행 중에 운전자와 항상 같이 움직이는 핵심부품으로 다양한 기능과 편의장치를 포함하는 제품의 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 경량화 소재를 적용한 경량형 시트 쿠션 익스텐션 모듈 개발을 위해 구조강도 해석평가, 수직강도 시험평가, 그리고 내구강도 시험평가를 수행하였다. 구조해석 결과, 수직 하중 부하 시 변형량의 최대값은 4.98mm로 상판의 최 전단에서 발생하였다. 최대응력은 약 105MPa로 익스텐션 모듈의 상판과 하판이 접촉하는 부분에서 발생함을 확인하였다. 수직강도 시험평가 결과, 수직 하중 부하 시 변형량의 최대값은 5.31mm로 구조해석 결과 대비 약 6.45% 정도의 차이가 나타났으며 수직강도 및 20,000회 내구강도 시험 후 제품에는 작동 시 유해한 변형 및 파괴가 없음을 확인함으로써 구조 안전성을 검증하였다. 본 연구에서는 엔지니어링 플라스틱 소재를 적용하여 기존 양산품 대비 약 30%의 중량절감을 확인하였고 정적 강도, 내구 강도 시험 후 파손이 되지 않으므로 승객의 안정성과 제품의 충분한 강도와 강성을 검증하였다. 본 논문에서 수행한 연구결과는 환경/연비규제 강화에 대응 가능 및 운전자의 피로도 감소로 인한 사고 예방 효과 증대, 고급 승용차뿐만 아니라 소형 및 경차종, 상용차, 특장차 등에 확대 적용, 친환경, 경량화 소재 적용기술을 활용한 타 산업분야 및 부품에 확대 적용이 예상된다.

자동차용 라운드 리클라이너 정적/동적 구조 강도 평가 (Evaluation of Static/Dynamic Structural Strength for Automotive Round Recliner)

  • This study presents the development of a round recliner using the finite element method. That reduces the number of test repeating times and gives an information about stiffness. A simulation model of round recliner mounting seat module and tooth strength simulation are established using a PAM-CRASH and ABAQUS. With the optimization of gear profile, structural strength design of round recliner was achieved. The round recliner seat module simulation, structure strength simulation and a crash safety are requested by FMVSS test. Solution of round recliner optimum variable study and design problem are searched for round recliner stress, deformation and application. Also an examination of safety is made.

SIMULATION OF AUTOMOTIVE SEAT FOR REDUCING NECK INJURY IN LOW-SPEED REAR IMPACT

  • Neck injuries sustained during low speed rear impact are the most commonly sustained traffic injury. Therefore, the analysis of neck injury mechanisms and methods for mitigating and reducing neck injuries during low speed rear impact are a very important issue in the vehicle safety field. In order to find a method to absorb the shock that is transmitted to the occupant, the response of frontal and rear dummy due to the motion of the struck vehicle and the rotational angular displacements of dummies' necks during rear impact at 12km/h speed were investigated using a Working Model 2D. The results suggest that the shock absorption system should be equipped in the bottom of the seat of the vehicle to reduce shock and mitigate neck injury to the occupants.

자동차 시트의 플라스틱 서스펜션 매트의 진동과 피로해석에 관한 연구 (Study on Vibration and Fatigue Analysis for Plastic Suspension Mat of Automotive Seat)

  • 본 자동차 서스펜션 매트는 자동차 시트 백 프레임에 장착되며, 탑승자의 등 부위에 가해지는 압력을 시트서스펜션 매트로 받쳐줌으로써 압력이 집중되는 것을 방지하여 운전시 피로감을 최소화하고, 안락감을 증대할 수 있는 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 플라스틱 재질로 개발된 서스펜션 매트를 3D 모델링 하고, 진동 및 피로해석을 수행하였다. 해석 결과 플라스틱 서스펜션 매트의 고유 진동수는 30 Hz, 수명은 $10^6$ Cycle, 안전계수는 1.6055의 해석 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 해석적 기법을 활용하면 시트 설계 부분에서 그 개발 시간 및 평가 비용을 절감할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

사이클 수 증가에 따른 엔진밸브 및 시트인서트 착좌면 마모 (A Wear of Engine Valve and Seat Insert Seating Face Depending on Cycle Numbers)

  • This study investigated the wear of the valve and seat insert seating faces. A tester, an exhaust valve and a seat insert were used. Test variables were cycle numbers ($2{\times}10^6,\;4{\times}10^6,\;6{\times}10^6\;and\;8{\times}10^6$) and Hz (10Hz and 25Hz). The other test conditions such as temperature ($350^{\circ}C$), fuel (LPG) and load (1960N) were fixed. The 10Hz tests indicated that the average Rmax of the valve increased at the rate of $7.76{\mu}m/10^6$ cycles starting from $29.42{\mu}m$ at the $2{\times}10^6$ cycles and that of the seat insert increased at the rate of $8.57{\mu}m/10^6$ cycles starting from $34.19{\mu}m$ at the $2{\times}10^6$ cycles. The 25Hz tests indicated that the average Rmax of the valve increased at the rate of $1.58{\mu}m/10^6$ cycles starting from $74.2{\mu}m$ at the $2{\times}10^6$ cycles and that of the seat insert increased at the rate of $1.25{\mu}m/10^6$ cycles starting from $83.95{\mu}m$ at the $2{\times}10^6$ cycles. The tribochemical reaction product covered the two seating faces, preventing the wear of the seating faces. As cycle numbers became greater, the average Rmax of the seating faces became greater, but the increase rate varied significantly depending on the Hz. The wear mechanism of the two faces was investigated through the tribochemical reaction.

차량 아이들 감성진동 평가를 위한 진동평가지수의 연구 (Development of Vibration Index for the Objective Evaluations of Idle Vibration Quality in a Passenger Car)

  • Driver's feeling is variously affected by lots of components such as engine, frame, wheels, and seats during the operation of automobiles. The main objective of this research is to identify the correlation between subjective evaluation and vibration metrics that was set by ISO to investigate development of the car vibration quality index using multiple linear regressions(MLR). A previous research related with automotive vibration quality used the method of calculating acceleration values of the point of a seat, a seat back, foot as RMS for objective evaluation. The automotive comfort is determined by RMS values. In comparison with the previous research, this study includes not only the vibration metrics, but also subjective values by jury evaluation. By indentifying the correlation between subjective evaluation and vibration metrics, the automotive vibration quality index is developed through MLR. Based on the results of this study, the proposed the automotive vibration quality index which developed through MLR will be helpful to obtain objective and reliable automotive comfort values.

자작형 하이브리드카의 제작 및 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Manufacture and Control of a Self Manufacturing Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

  • In this paper, Hybrid Electric Vehicle is directly designed and manufactured for base study of HEV's system and Green Car. Foundation design consists of power train design and the frame design. The power train concept includes motor, engine, generator and battery. And the concept of the frame is the single-seat of this self-made HEV. A frame installed in hybrid system contains suspension, steering wheel, seat, accelerating pedal, brake pedal, clutch handle and various chassis parts with bearings. Electromagnetic clutch is equipped to transmit engine power to drive axle. The control algorism make using LabVIEW to control of an engine and a motor depending on drive condition. A parallel type hybrid system is manufactured to control operation of a motor and an engine depending on vehicle speed.

위치별 진동 측정을 통한 차체강성평가 (Evaluation of Vehicle Body Stiffness by Measuring Local Vibration)

  • Road loads data are indispensable in the evaluation of BSR (Buzz, Squeak, and Rattle) of automotive parts/modules. However, there are uncertainties on the best measurement locations for representative body motion and for seat systems. In the present study, we measure road loads at four different locations of a body. A-pillars on the driver and passenger sides and left and right frame fronts of the front passenger seat mountings are selected to study the acceleration behavior at different locations. The measurements are conducted with passenger cars driving local roads at 50km/hr. The measured time-acceleration data are then transformed into PSD (power spectral density) data to compare the characteristics of local accelerations. By defining the deviated acceleration components from rigid body motion, the stiffness of vehicle body could be simply expressed in a quantitative basis. Measured data from two different vehicles are presented to demonstrate their relative vehicle body stiffness.

차량 시트 가진 및 작동 내구 BSR 시험법 연구 (BSR Test method for Vehicle Seat using Excitation and Operation Durability Test)

  • 자동차에서 발생하는 BSR 소음은 감성품질로써 최근에 크게 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차량 시트에서 발생하는 BSR 소음에 대하여 두 가지의 시험법을 적용하였다. 첫째, sine sweep 가진 BSR 시험법을 이용하여 저주파 가진으로 인해 발생하는 고주파의 BSR 소음을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 작동 시 주요 부위 가속도를 계측하는 작동 BSR 시험법을 이용하여 시트의 여러 조절 장치 중 하이트 조절 장치의 작동 BSR 소음원을 분석 할 수 있었다. 이때 내구시험을 통해 소음원을 발생시켰으며 그에 상응하는 BSR 소음이 한 사이클 당 총 14회 발생하고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제시된 두 가지의 시험법은 시트의 BSR 소음을 보다 효과적으로 분석할 수 있다.
