ATO 자동운전 기반의 무인운전 경전철 TPS에 관한 연구 (A Study on TPS based on ATO for Driverless LRT)

  • Automatic Operation based on ATO (Automatic Train Operation) is necessary for driverless Light Rail Transit business. When this kind of driverless LRT operation plan is made, TPS (Train Performance Simulation) is traditionally simulated at all-out mode and coasting mode based on manual operation. Commercial schedule speed equals to all-out speed minus $9{\sim}15%$ make-up margin. Coasting mode TPS simulation is also run at commercial schedule speed to calculate run time and energy consumption. But TPS based on manual operation should make an improvement on accuracy in case of driverless LRT operation Plan. In this paper, new fast mode TPS simulation using ATO pattern is proposed and show near actual ATO result. The actual ATO pattern can be accurately simulated with the introduction of 4 parameters such as commercial braking rate, jerk, station stop profile and grade converted distance. Normal mode TPS simulation for commercial schedule speed can be designed to have fast mode trip time plus 3 seconds/km margin recommended by korean standard LRT specification.

  • 한국철도공사에서는 기존선의 신호시스템을 지상의 ATS 시스템에 의한 신호 현시에 따라 운전자가 제한속도 이내로 열차를 운전하던 방식에서 지상의 발리스로부터 이동권한을 전송받아 차상신호시스템(ATP)에서 Speed Profile을 생성하여 운전하는 Bombardier Transport사의 ATP 시스템으로 개량하고 있다. 한국철도기술연구원에서는 기존선의 속도 향상을 위해 틸팅열차를 개발하여 10만 km 주행시험 중이며, 중앙선에 투입이 가시화되고 있다. 이러한 틸팅열차를 ATP 시스템에 의해 운전할 때 곡선구간에서 현재 제한되어지고 있는 곡선부 통과 속도를 증속하는 것이 쉽지 않은 형편이다. 따라서 향후 ATP 시스템의 국산화 개발이 이루어질 것을 대비하여 선행적으로 ATP 시스템의 핵심 기술인 선행열차에 따른 후행열차의 안전제동모델 및 열차간격제어 기술을 연구 개발할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 발리스를 이용하는 ATP 시스템의 안전제동모델 및 열차간격제어 기술을 개발하고 그 성능을 시뮬레이션 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 틸팅열차의 안전성 확보 및 운행효율 향상을 위해 “한국형 틸팅열차 신뢰성 평가 및 운용기술개발” 연구과제의 한 분야로 추진된 ATP 차상장치의 설치 및 시운전시험에 대한 내용 및 결과를 제시하고 있다. 한국철도기술연구원에서는 기존선의 속도 향상과 KTX 비수혜지역의 여객 서비스 향상을 위해 틸팅열차를 개발하였으며 개발된 틸팅열차의 신뢰성 평가를 위해 기존에 사용되고 있는 ATS 장치에 의한 10km 주행 시운전 시험을 진행하였다. 국토해양부에서는 KTX가 운행되지 않는 지역인 중앙선 및 충북선을 비롯한 7개 기존 노선을 200km/h 이상으로 고속화하기로 하였으며, 이에 따라 열차제어시스템은 기존의 ATS 장치에서 ATP 장치로 개량하여야 한다. 따라서 틸팅열차에도 ATP 차상장치를 설치하여 운행 적합성을 확인하여야 하기 때문에 한국철도공사의 경부선 및 호남선 ATP 구축사업에 사용된 것과 동일한 ATP 차상장치를 틸팅열차에 설치하여 시험하였다.

DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATIC CLUTCH ACTUATOR FOR AUTOMATED MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS

  • With the growing traffic density and increasing comfort requirements, the automation of the drive train has gained importance in vehicles. The automatic clutch actuation relieves a driver especially in urban and stop-and-go traffic environments. In this paper, an electro-mechanical actuator for clutch-by-wire (CBW) system is implemented as the first stage for the development of automated manual transmissions. The prototype of the automatic clutch actuator is designed systematically, which is composed of the electric motor, worm and worm wheel, and crank mechanism. A test rig is developed to perform the basic function test for the automatic clutch actuation. The developed prototype is validated by the experimental results performed on the test rig.

  • Many practical control problems for the complex, uncertain or large-scale plants, need to simultaneously achieve a number of objectives, which may conflict or compete with each other. If the conventional optimization methods are applied to solve these control problems, the solution process may be time-consuming and the resulting solution would ofter lose its original meaning of optimality. Nevertheless, the human operators usually performs satisfactory results based on their qualitative and heuristic knowledge. In this paper, we investigate the control strategies of the human operators, and propose a fuzzy model-based multi-objective satisfactory controller. We also apply it to the automatic train operation(ATO) system for the magnetically levitated vehicles(MAGLEV). One of the human operator's strategies is to predict the control result in order to find the meaningful solution. In this paper, Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is used to simulated the prediction procedure. Another str tegy is to evaluate the multiple objectives with respect to their own standards. To realize this strategy, we propose the concept of a satisfactory solution and a satisfactory control scheme. The MAGLEV train is a typical example of the uncertain, complex and large-scale plants. Moreover, the ATO system has to satisfy multiple objectives, such as seed pattern tracking, stop gap accuracy, safety and riding comfort. In this paper, the speed pattern tracking controller and the automatic stop controller of the ATO system is designed based on the proposed control scheme. The effectiveness of the ATO system based on the proposed scheme is shown by the experiments with a rotary test bed and a real MAGLEV train.

  • 열차제어시스템에는 자동열차제어, 자동열차방호, 자동열차정지, 자동열차운행 시스템 등이 있다. 다양한 열차제어시스템은 노선에 따라 다르게 설치되어 있으므로 열차노선에 맞는 차상신호시스템이 설치되어야 한다. 이로 인해 열차의 운행 유연성은 떨어진다. 즉, 다른 열차제어시스템을 사용하는 노선에 열차를 운행할 경우에는 차상신호시스템을 다시 설치해야 하는 문제가 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 최근에 차상통합신호시스템을 개발하는 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 차상통합신호시스템은 자동열차제어, 자동열차방호, 자동열차정지장치로 구성되어 있다. 열차제어시스템은 안전성이 필수적인 시스템으로써 차상통합신호시스템을 k out of n시스템으로 설계할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 차상통합신호시스템에서 k out of n시스템을 적용하였을 경우, 각 장치별 고장률을 이용하여 신뢰도 및 손실비용을 분석하여 전체 출력 수에 대한 이상적인 시스템 수를 제시하였다.

  • 1974. 8. 15 SeoulMetro, beginning with the first electric railway established at six cities, so it is managing mass transportation of traffic. Especially, in case of seoul, It is managing that from one to eight lines, 286.9km, 265 stations have installed and now it is carrying about 5.5million of passengers everyday, and 2,000million passengers a year. So accident is increasing from the station every year. For this measure, SeoulMetro prepares safety fence for passengers crash but, as suicides or people who watch the accident took place, for at the bottom of passengers crash protection, PSD installing is needed. Even though, PSD is managing ATO section but, in controlling SeoulMetro, one to four lines sections are (ATS, ATC)section. Between as ATS, ATC section, ATO section, subway gate and PSD must have opened and crossed always at the time. And the interlock control corrosion protection gate, managing skills with installation, method, using in history, apply to 10rail cars one train sets, and maximum applying 2224% sections of passengers congested that consideration is to be needed. So 2004, SeoulMetro improved technology and basie design of PSD at ATS section. Based on this, from 2005.4 to 2006.6, using subway 2lines per 12stations set the model installation(full type 11stations, half type 1station) After installing in case of success, it is going about to suggest that effective analysis and hereafter subject.

  • For safety reason ATS(Automatic Train Stop) system is being used, which is a kind of communication system with a feedback amplifier and a transformer on the train and wayside coils. The coils are highly resonant LC circuits, also have very high Q(Quality) factors. The Q factors of wayside ATS coils are to be maintained high enough for the amplifier to operate reliably. In this paper a novel Q measurement system is proposed. The system measures the resonant frequency and the bandwidth of the ATS coils, by controlling the phase difference between the transformer and the coil using digital PLL(Phase Locked Loop). The overall configuration and algorithms of the proposed system and the digital PLL control schemes are presented in details. The experimental waveforms are shown to verify the system performances.

  • Railroad signaling systems perform controlling the distance and routes between trains. Signaling methods on the wayside are to control passively the train speed by using signal flags which are installed on the wayside. ATS(Automatic Train Stop) device is used as the signaling method on the wayside in Korea. The ATS device is assistance equipment of engineers. Signal information is transmitted by combining mutual inductance between the wayside transmitter and on-board receiver. The wayside transmitter performs changing oscillation frequency according to the signal information. The on-board receiver performs controlling the train by receiving the frequency. Currently, the oscillation frequency on the on-board receiver is 78[kHz] in case of normal state. When the on-board receiver is over the wayside transmitter, the oscillation frequency is changed by capacitors of the wayside transmitter according to signal flags. In case of changing the oscillation frequency, the waveform is modified in the wayside transmitter and on-board receiver. This phenomenon is that other signals or communication frequency are included. In this paper, electric model between the wayside transmitter and on-board receiver is suggested and frequency response in the wayside transmitter and on-board receiver including other signals is estimated by the coupling coefficient. Also, the value of coupling coefficient is proposed to exclude other signals and demonstrated by using Matlab and PSpice program.
