본 논문에서는 사용자의 개입 없이 가정환경에서 사용하는 다양한 가전기기의 대기전력을 검출하고 대기전력을 자동으로 차단하기 위한 전원 관리 시스템을 설계하였다. 시스템의 클라이언트는 클라이언트에 연결된 가전기기가 소비하는 소비전력 정보를 측정하고 무선 네트워크를 통하여 서버에게 실시간으로 전송한다. 이때 서버에서는 가전기기의 소비전력 특성을 분석하여 대기전력 사용 여부 및 대기전력 소비전력 값을 검출하도록 한다. 이렇게 검출한 대기전력 정보는 해당 가전기기 정보의 생성 및 데이터베이스를 구축에 활용되며, 이를 이용하여 사용자의 개입을 통한 설정 없이 대기전력 자동검출 및 차단 기능을 제공한다.

In general, the purpose of packaging fasteners is a series of management activities to maintain the condition at the time of production until they get delivered to the end user. An automatic packing system for fasteners is consisted of bucket conveyor, slide feeder, vision inspection system, box-magazine conveyor system and automatic packing machine. Also, the automatic packing machine is consisted of six modules including charging device, clamping/opening device, sealing/cutting device, feeding/air-shower device, supplying/adjusting device and device frame, etc. In this paper, we proposed an automatic packing mechanism of the one station concept for packing work of fastener objects where the continuous batch work is performed in a finite space. The proposed one-station packing mechanism has been optimized through mechanical, dynamical, structural and fluid analyses. And it had been manufactured as the prototype of automatic packing machine. The field test for validation of performance was performed directly at the production line of bolt and screw. In the field test, this packing machine showed an efficiency of about 4.5 times the manual operation. It also showed 30% reduction in the consumption of packing materials compared to the manual operation. This automatic packing machine for fastener objects will be commercialized soon.

The automatic utility program in electrical facilities has specially developed to fulfill the needs of electric CAD designers . Designers had separately managed the designing factors such as design, estimates and calculation sheets . However, this automatic utility program produces calculation sheets and volume reports simultaneously while designed. The program also accumulates all data automatically in database in order to be utilized as the statistics and the design data for later project management. Moreover, it is easy for new and inexperienced users to access by using the standard electric symbol libraries and utility modules.

This paper presents an efficient reengineering technique for the logistics process innovation which is the foundation of supply-chain management. Based on consulting experience on the domestic manufacturing firms, this paper provides promotion step for logistics innovation and six reengineering points including check system for customer's credit limit, check system of real-time inventory information, automatic system for sequential production plan, automatic order-release system, automatic packing system, and happy-call system for order-forward information. For each reengineering point, application cases in domestic industry are also presented.

RIKEN Structural Genomics Beamlines have been constructed for the crystallographic analysis in the structural genomics research at synchrotron radiation facility SPring-8. Synchrotron radiation accelerates the crystallographic analysis of protein structure. The target of the research and development is focused on the automatic beamline operation to maximize beamline efficiency. We are developing the sample management system, which is composed of the sample auto-changer and the database system, for high-throughput data collection. The sample management system and the beamline operating system make it possible to execute automatic data collection without any operators. The beamlines will be ready for user operation in autumn 2002. The concept of automatic beamline operation and the present status of RIKEN Structural Genomics Beamlines will be presented.

This study was conducted to develop an automatic soil water content control system for greenhouse, which consisted of drip irrigation nozzles, soil water content sensors, an on/off valve, a servo-motor assembly and a control program. The control logic adopted in the system was Ziegler-Nichols algorithm and rising time, time constant and over/undershoot ratio as control variables in the system was selected and determined by various control experiments to maintain small delay time and low overshoot. Based on the experimental results, it was concluded that the control system developed in the study could replace the unreliable conventional greenhouse soil water management.

본 연구는 한글자동색인에 관한 연구로 한국전자통신연구소의 DOCUMENT Data Base로부터 299개 문헌의 제목과 초록을 무작위로 추출하여 단어분리를 시도하고, 분리된 단어군, 인식어를 제외한 단어군, 인식어와 불용어를 제외한 단어군, 그리고 인식어와 불용어를 제외하고 복합어를 구성하여 포함한 단어군 등 4개의 시험군을 설정한 후, 파오의 전환점 산출기과 스파크죤스의 역문헌 가중기법, 살톤의 문헌분리 가중기법을 적용하여 색인어를 선정하고 이를 비교 평가하여 한글문헌의 자동색인 방안을 모색하였다.

The purpose of this study is to clarify which some factors among the socio-demographic factors have effect on the housewives behavior on how to buy small electric appliances and how to use them. The questionnaires were distributed in July 1985 to 491 housewives in Seoul. Satistical methods as percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean, chi-square test, t-test and F-test were used for data analysis. RESULTS : 1) The average rate of possessing the automatic rice cooker is 87.8%, the electric frypan is 81.0%, the toaster is 36.9% and the blender is 86.9%. 2. Generally the frequency of use were low. 3) Generally their knowledge on small electric appliances is low. 4) The ability of management in blender was influenced by age, education and in automatic rice cooker was influenced by only education.

Automatic transfer defined as an integrated system with a number of workstations, interstation storage buffers, automatic device and a control system, play a major role in ass production systems. Due to high capital investment needed for an automatic transferline, greater care should be taken in its design so as to maximize the system performance. One may to control the system performance is to control buffer storage. To control the interstation work-in-process inventory, we propose dual limit switches which control the buffer storage with two parameters, R and r. Under the policy, proceding station is forced down when the inventory level in the buffer reaches R until the level falls to r. For the model developed, we analyze the system characteristics and find the optimal control parameters with a serach procedure.

각종 정보 생산량이 날로 증가하고 이를 정보에 대한 이용자 등의 요구 또한 매우 다양해졌기 때문에 수작업 색인에 비해 더욱 신속하고 효율적인 자동 색인의 필요성이 대두 되었다. 본 논문은 한글 문헌에서 체언이 주요어가 될 수 있으며, 체언 다음에는 조사가 온다는 가정하에, 실험 데이터로 선정된 국내 전산화 분야 논문의 표제와 초록에서 형태소 분석 과정을 통하여 색인어들을 추출하였다.
