전자연동장치를 위한 연동검사시스템의 개발 (Development of Interlocking Inspection Simulator for Electronic Interlocking System)

  • The purpose of interlocking system in railway is to prevent the route for a train being set up and its protecting signal cleared if there were already another, conflicting route set up and the protecting signal for that route cleared. Recently, conventional relays circuitry in industrial field is replaced to computer-based control systems according to the advance of computer and communication technology. Therefore, interlocking systems in railway field are rapidly changing from existing relay-based interlocking system to computer-based electronic ones that executes the vital interlocking logic to assure the safety train routes at trackside signaling equipment room using electronic circuits. So it is very important to verify the performance of developed electronic interlocking system by plentiful laboratory testing before actually application in the railway system. However the laboratory testing in the present state of railway signaling is preformed individually by manual, so very much test time and cost are required. To solve these problems, we are developed the simulator for automatic interlocking inspection in this research. This simulator is able to operate on general personal computer and has following beneficial functions : automatic test sheet generation for inspection, automatic inspection execution and et al. The experiments are executed to test the feasibility of the developed simulator the experimental results have good agreements with the anticipated ones.

  • This paper describes a mobile inspection robot with an automatic pipe tracking system for a feeder pipe inspection in a PHWR. The robot is composed of two inch worm mechanisms. One is for a longitudinal motion along a pipe, and the other is for a rotational motion in a circumferential direction to access all of the outer surfaces of a pipe. The proposed mechanism has a stable gripping capability and is easy to install. An automatic pipe tracking system is proposed based on machine vision techniques to make the mobile robot follow an exact outer circumference of a curved feeder pipe as closely as possible, which is one of the requirements of a thickness measurement system for a feeder pipe. The proposed sensing technique is analyzed to attain its feasibility and to develop a calibration method for an accurate measurement. A mobile robot and control system are developed, and the automatic pipe tracking system is tested in a mockup of a feeder pipe.

  • We present an automatic inspection system which been developed to evaluate the geometric tolerances of the optical fiber connectors with an dimensional accuracy of$\pm0.1\mnm$. The main part of the inspection system comprises a series of machine vision and laser scanning probes to measure the internal and external circle diameters along with concentricity by making the most of advanced edge detection algorithms. Actual experimental results obtained through various repeatability tests demonstrate that the system well satisfies the required industrial demands for in-situ inspection of optical fiber connections in real manufacturing environment.

  • This paper describes the automatic testing system developed for powder metallurgy process using the visual inspection, and its some internal algorithms. The system consists of one unit from each of the five types of units; feeding, slot, vision inspection, volumn counter, and inferior good extractor units. Some applications of the system to powder metallurgy process has shown the possibility of reducing the rework and increasing the efficiency of operation.

  • Automakers have been forcing their suppliers to guarantee qualities of parts. Then, the suppliers have met the fundamental quality requirements such as dimensions and functions, but they could not sufficiently satisfy the automakers' noise requirements yet because automatic noise inspection systems were little successfully adopted In mass-production lines. This study tried to develop a system for automatically checking noise radiated from a rotating engine part and filtering parts emitting noise higher than criteria: the upper limits of a overall noise level or a noise spectrum. A commercial noise measurement system was used for measuring noise, and then the noise data was transmitted to a governing program through OLE(object, linking and embedding) functions. The governing program, belonging to a total noise inspection system managed the noise measurement and analysis. This system was successfully adapted for distinguishing bad parts according to the noise criteria.

  • We propose a template matching method for component inspection of SMD assembly system. To discriminate wrong assembled components, the input image of component is matched with its standard image by template matching algorithm. For a fast inspection system, the calculation time of matching algorithm should be reduced. Since the standard images of all components located in a PCB are stored in computer, it is desirable to reduce the memory size of standard image. We apply the discrete wavelet transformation to reduce the image size as well as the calculation time. Only 7% memory of the BMP image is used to discriminate goodness or badness of components assembly. Comparative results are presented to verify the usefulness of the proposed method.

  • This study proposes a new approach to real time implimemtation of shape recognition technology of die casting and forging parts based on robot vision for smart factory. The proposed shape recognition and inspection technology for forging and die casting parts is very useful for manufacturing process automatiom and smart factory including external form's automatic inspection of machanical or electronic panrs for the precision verification. The reliabiblity of proposed technology Ihas been illustrated through experiments.

  • 본 논문은 머쉰비전기반 자동검사를 위한 대상 이미지영상 검출에 관한 연구결과로서, 영상카메라에 의한 자동 비전검사의 과정에서 요구되는 시험대상물의 위치와 방향에 상관없이 검사대상의 영상을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 연구에서는 검사대상으로서 와이어 하네스 제조과정에서 실제 적용할 수 있는 기술과 방법을 개발하여 실제 시스템으로 구현한 결과를 제시한다.

  • Automatic Vision Inspection (AVI) systems automatically detect defect features and measure their sizes via camera vision. It has been populated because of the accuracy and consistency in terms of QC (Quality Control) of inspection processes. Also, it is important to predict the performance of an AVI to meet customer's specification in advance. AVI are usually suffered from false negative and positives. It can be overcome by providing extra information such as 3D depth information. Stereo vision processing has been popular for depth extraction of the 3D images from 2D images. However, stereo vision methods usually take long time to process. In this paper, retro optical system using reflectors is proposed and experimented to overcome the problem. The optical system extracts the depth without special SW processes. The vision sensor and optical components such as illumination and depth detecting module are integrated as a unit. The depth information can be extracted on real-time basis and utilized and can improve the performance of an AVI system.

  • This study was performed to develop necessary Visual Inspection System for the PSC Bridges precision safety diagnosis which to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of visual inspection by using mobile PC and adopted IT. This system was constructed to the automatic visual inspection map generating program and the Visual Inspection System using mobile PC that predicted high efficiency.
