AEB 장치에 대한 사고경감 효과 연구 (Study on Effectiveness of Accident Reduction Depending on Autonomous Emergency Braking System)

  • This paper describes effectiveness of accident reduction on vehicles equipped with AEB using accident data occurring in Korea. During the statistical period, we used the number of vehicles which are covered by auto insurance and the number of accidents. To maximize the reduction effect of accidents caused by the driver's carelessness, the analysis was limited to Physical Damage Coverage that covers the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged vehicle caused by the driver's fault. Due to Personal Information Protection Law, it was not capable of comparing the same vehicle using Vehicle Identification Number in this study. Instead of that, we used it as a similar vehicle, so there are limits to the comparison and analysis results. As a result of this study, we have found that the effect of reducing accidents was different depending on the vehicle class, but it was generally concluded that the number of accidents decreased when the vehicle was equipped with an AEB system. Domestic research on the AEB effect of reducing accidents is not active yet. Therefore, it is absolutely essential to analyze the effects according to various conditions such as driver's age, occupation and gender as well as expanding the study models in the future.

과적차량 방지를 위한 유비쿼터스도로에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ubiquitous Road for Prevention of the Overweight Vehicles)

  • 과적차량은 도로 및 교량 구조물과 도로 횡단 시설물 등에 손상요인으로 작용하므로 시설물의 내구성을 단축시켜 이에 따른 유지보수 비용을 증가시킨다. 기존의 단속 시스템은 많은 문제점을 내포하고 있어서 이에 대한 대처방안이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 논문에서는 주행중인 과적차량의 지능형 무인과적 단속 시스템 개발을 위하여 유비쿼터스 센서네트워크 시스템을 구성하고, 무선통신프로토콜을 통한 실내성능실험으로 축중 WIM센서 선정, 하중 및 온도에 따른 변수, 자율공간 송수신 거리 실험을 통해 U-도로 과적차량 무인관리 시스템의 가능성을 검토하였다. 그리고 고속 주행 상태에서도 차량의 하중 측정이 가능한 High Speed WIM Sensor의 성능에 대해 검증하였다. 또한 USN구성을 위한 센서의 무선화 테스트를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 실시한 실험은 기본적으로 고속 WIM센서와 함께 USN의 구성과 Internal/External Network의 완전 무인, 무선화 시스템을 통한 사용자 중심의 시스템을 구축하는 것이 최종 목적이므로 향후 WCDMA/HSDPA를 이용한 External Network의 구성과 실제 과적 단속 적용을 위하여 Test Bed를 통한 실험이 실시되어야 할 것이다.

  • The faults of a electric motor cause to rise the maintenance and repair cost and to reduce the reliability of the electric power system. In this paper, the auto fault detection system for a induction motor is developed using the torque signal spectrum analysis. The spectrum of motor torque signal is used for finding a bearing fault feature frequency. A threshold value, for detecting the motor bearing fault is set by the difference of torque signal spectrum(FFT signal) between normal condition and faulted condition of the motor.

  • Developed countries are operating an in-depth database in motor vehicle crashes nationwide. They do not rely solely on the police investigation reports that are responsible for motor vehicle crashes in each country but are developing into a useful database by expanding the categories of data through more indicators addition. In Korea, after implementing comprehensive measures to reduce traffic accident deaths in 2013, the medical centers participated in establishing the actual accident investigation system, which was called as the Korean In-Depth Accident Study (hereinafter KIDAS). This KIDAS database included more in-depth indicators as the types of accidents, types of vehicles, the injury severity, adequacy of safety devices, seating position of passengers. Although there are difficulties in establishing an actual accident investigation system including data collection due to various restrictions, if the system can cooperate with each other such as medical centers, insurance companies, police, fire and rescue services, towing companies, and car repair shops in the future, It would be expected to contribute to the development of safer vehicle, treatment system and traffic safety policy that lower the injury severity of occupant in the event of a motor vehicle crashes.

정시중단 고장자료를 이용한 신뢰성예측 연구 (A Study on a Reliability Prognosis based on Censored Failure Data)

  • Collecting all failures during life cycle of vehicle is not easy way because its life cycle is normally over 10 years. Warranty period can help gathering failures data because most customers try to repair its failures during warranty period even though small failures. This warranty data, which means failures during warranty period, can be a good resource to predict initial reliability and permanence reliability. However uncertainty regarding reliability prediction remains because this data is censored. University of Wuppertal and major auto supplier developed the reliability prognosis model considering censored data and this model introduce to predict reliability estimate further "failure candidate". This paper predicts reliability of telecommunications system in vehicle using the model and describes data structure for reliability prediction.

S대역 군사 레이더용 2kW급 GaN HEMT 증폭기 개발 (Development of 2-kW Class C Amplifier Using GaN High Electron Mobility Transistors for S-band Military Radars)

  • 본 논문에서는 S-밴드 군용 레이더에 사용되고 기존의 TWTA를 대체하기 위해 GaN HEMT 기반 증폭모듈을 이용하여 개발한 2kW급 반도체증폭기(SSPA)를 제안하였다. 제안한 SSPA는 8개의 증폭모듈로 이루어진 고출력증폭모듈, 구동증폭모듈, 제어모듈 및 전원공급 장치로 이루어져 있다. 제안한 SSPA는 1) 증폭모듈과 구성부품은 공간적 제약으로 작은 패키지에 통합설계 되었으며, 2) PCB 내장형 하모닉필터를 이용하여 고주파를 제거하였으며, 그리고 3) 입력신호의 듀티 변화에 대응하여 일정한 출력이 유지되도록 하는 자동이득조절기를 설계하였다. 제안된 SSPA는 최대 48 dB의 이득과 3.1~3.5 GHz의 주파수 대역에서 63-63.6 dBm의 출력 전력을 보였다. 자동이득조절 기능은 15-20 dBm의 입력전력 변동에도 대해서, 출력전력이 63dBm 전후로 일정하게 유지하는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 MIL-STD-810의 시험기준을 만족하는 높은 (55 ℃) / 낮은 (-40 ℃) 온도시험 프로파일을 이용한 온도시험을 통해 개발된 시스템의 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 개발된 SSPA는 경량, 고출력, 고이득, 안전기능, 낮은 수리비, 짧은 수리시간 등 측면에서 기존의 TWTA 증폭기보다 우수한 것을 확인하였다.

자동차 교통사고 시 에어백에 의한 안면부 손상특성 (Facial Injury after Airbag Deployment in Occupant Motor Vehicle Accident)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the injury mechanism of facial injury related to an air-bag's deployment in occupant motor vehicle accident (MVA) by using Hospital Information System (HIS) and reconstruction program, based on the materials related to motor vehicle accidents. Among patients who visited the emergency department of Wonju Severance Christian Hospital due to motor vehicle accidents from August 2012 to February 2014, we collected data on patients with agreement for taking the damaged vehicle's photos. After obtaining the verbal consent from the patient, we asked about the cause of the accident, information on vehicle involved in the accident, and the location of car repair shop. The photos of the damaged vehicle were taken on the basis of front, rear, left side and right side. Damage to the vehicle was presented using the CDC code by analytical study of photo-images of the damaged vehicle, and a trauma score was used for medical examination of the severity of the patient's injury. Among the 309 patients with agreement for an investigation, thirty five (11.3 %) were the severe who had ISS over 15. And also, sixteen (5.2%) derived from the reconstructed data (maximum collision energy, maximum acceleration, delta V) by PC-Crash. As a result, ISS including the facial injuries was affected by the condition. It was high when the number of crash extent, the safety belt was not fastened, and the seating position of occupant and the direction of collision is same. For accurate analysis of the relationship between occupant injury and vehicle damage in MVAs, build-up of an in-depth database through carrying out various policies for motor vehicle accidents is necessary for sure.

자동차 주행정보를 활용한 스마트 자동차 자가 점검 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implement a Smart Automobile Self-Diagnosis System based on The Driving information)

  • 자동차를 안전운행하기 위해선 운전자는 항상 자동차 상태를 점검해야 한다. 많은 현대인이 자신의 주된 업무 이외에 시간을 따로 할애하여 전문 정비 업소에 방문해 자신의 자동차 상태를 점검받는 것은 정말 어려운 일이다. 지속적으로 자동차 상태를 점검 받지 못하면 운전자 자신의 생명은 물론 주변의 상황까지 어렵게 만드는 큰 사고를 발생할 가능성이 크다. 이를 방지하기 위해 운전자 스스로 자동차 상태를 손쉽게 확인 할 수 있게 도와주는 점검 도구 및 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 운전 중 변화하는 데이터(위치 및 자동차 내부 데이터)를 근거로 주행정보를 기록 후 스마트폰을 활용해 운전자가 스스로 자동차 상태를 손쉽게 점검할 수 있고, 좀 더 나아가 인터넷을 이용해 주행정보를 전문 정비업소에게 공유하여 자동차 상태를 자세히 점검 받을 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

정면충돌 시 차량 탑승자의 하지 손상기전에 대한 분석 (Analysis of Lower Extremity Injury Mechanism Centered on Frontal Collision in Occupant Motor Vehicle Crashes)

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the analysis of lower extremity injury mechanism in occupant motor vehicle accident by using Hospital Information System (HIS) and reconstruction program, based on the materials related to motor vehicle accidents. Among the 1,699 patients due to motor vehicle crashes, 88 (5.2%) received a diagnosis of lower extremity fracture and 141 (8.3%) were the severe who had ISS over 15. Nevertheless during 19 months for research, it was difficult to build up in-depth database about motor vehicle crashes. It has a limitation on collecting data because not only the system for constructing database about motor vehicle crash is not organized but also the process for demanding materials is not available due to prevention of personal information. For accurate analysis of the relationship between occupant injury and vehicle damage in motor vehicle crashes, build-up of an in-depth database through carrying out various policies for motor vehicle crashes is necessary for sure.
