  • Many have been concerned with the entry of serials in cataloging. Thouzh they believc the form of AACR 6 should be revised, the agreement was not yet reached among them. Whercas some librarians advocate no different entry in cataioging between monographs and serials, some agree that all serials are to be entered under its title. Main arguments are on the concepts of "corporate authorship" and "generic titlc". On account of disagreemefit on these concepts, there appear different ways 9T serials entry in various catalogs or bibliogaphies. Being not clearly defined the concept of "corporate authorship" in Korcan Cltaloging Rules, main cntry of a scrial was quite different either in a few national bibliographies or some universities' catalogs in T a e g ~C ity. In consideration 01 the incompleteness and changing authorship or diffused riuthorship of serials, it is desirable to revise and simplif1, - our czttaloging rules as to all the serials are to be entered under its titlc. This would be in ac.:ord +;ith International Stand~rdso n serials, eg. ISDS and ISBD(S). When a generic term is included in a title, it will not be sn important groblcm as the title mould be usi~ally made up in the form of "corporate name+gcncric term". • In the history of the study of Shakespeare's texts the eighteenth century marked the emergence of editors, and in the history of Shakespearean editing Edmond Malone's emphasis on documentary evidence inaugurated a new stage. Malone's antiquarian scholarship sought to establish Shakespeare in the theatrical context of his age and a historically informed view of the physical circumstances under which he wrote his plays. Malone's editorial use of historical sources in terms of Shakespeare's past formulated a new mode of ascertaining his authorship: the construction of Shakespeare as a man of the theatre as well as of literature. Malone was the first scholar to recognize Shakespeare's merits as an actor, and to introduce the concept of the theatrical Shakespeare, which has become the scholarly norm since. In this respect this paper is designed to demonstrate that Malone's editorial principle and practice are characteristic of the identification of the factual documents of Shakespeare's biography, the authentication of his material to attain his true text, and the construction of his personal experiences through intensive readings of his plays. In conclusion, Malone's new criteria laid the foundation for the progress towards authorizing Shakespeare, thereby canonizing him as a figure of the theatrical and literary authority.

  • This paper aims to explore the impacts of various authorship-related factors on future citations of conference articles in 'Information Science' discipline. A large body of bibliometric studies has suggested that the impacts of various authorship-related factors on the future citations vary by the discipline and there is no well-grounded factor that is unanimously significant across all academic fields. That is, it is necessary to separately assess the impact of authorship-related factors on 'Information Science' articles. Moreover, while a number of bibliometric studies have focused on journal articles, the exploration of conference articles has been significantly fewer. Therefore, this study, which is based on 1,957 conference articles in 'Information Science' field, examined several factors about authors and the contributions of the factors to the future citation. The sources of citation rates of conference articles were Google Scholar and Scopus. As the results, among eight factors considered in this paper, the first authors' publishing tenure and job title and the average number of publications of other authors significantly contributed to the changes of citations. However, the number of authors, the number of affiliated institues, the number of the first authors' publications and the average publishing tenure of the other authors made little contributions on citations.

  • This research investigates the causes of infringements related to authors' moral rights which has most conflict among moral rights of authorship, through analysis of judicial precedents and compare whether there subsists any differences in viewpoints between judicial precedent trend and those on behind the scene of broadcast production. Copyright is divided into intellectual property and moral rights of authorship. Right to the integrity of the work is part of moral rights of authorship and produce one content and used in various media. When the edit is needed to fit the organization and advertisement time, advanced consultation from the rightful owner or written consent is needed. However, under the time pressure or ignorance of copyright, the arbitrary edits are made and content is used. This infringes the right of the integrity of the work. When we produce and use cinematographic works and other audiovisual works, there are considerable variablilies stemming from authorship, production cost and program staff. Therefore, prior conscent is needed to acquire and use the copyright in a proper manner. However, due to production-oriented environment and low understanding of the copyright protection, we usually depend on the users' work practices rhather than insufficiency of copyright laws in dealing with the infringement of right to the industry. In conclusion, we need to provide meticulous work manual and to focus on systematic eduction of professional copyright manpower.

In order to identify the pattern and the development of design management studies, we investigated contents of the periodical journals published by Design Management Institute (DMI): the Design Management Review and the Academic Review. An in-depth analysis was performed on 64 themes, 722 articles, and 704 authors of these two journals between 1989 and 2005, and the primary research topics and authorship patterns were identified.
