  • The purpose of DRM is to protect the copyrights of content providers and to enable only designated users to access digital contents. From the consumers' point of view, they have a tendency to go against complex and confusing limitations. Moreover, consumers' rights of use of the content obtained legally were frequently harmed by arbitrary limitations. The concept of Authorized Domain (AD) was presented to remove such problems. However, the previous work on authorized domain has two problems. The first is that it requires a rather expensive revocation mechanism for withdraw process. The second is that the modules still can play contents which are previously obtained even though they are currently out of the authorized domain. On the contrary, our scheme presents the content from being played by modules which are out of the domain for better security. Furthermore our scheme does not need to maintain a revocation list and prevent replay attack.

  • In this paper, we propose a redistribution mechanism of the content that is adapted to devices, which may have different display size and computing capabilities, in home network. The proposed system introduces a mechanism that the encrypted content compressed by H.264/SVC(Scalable Video Coding) scheme which has been standardized recently is provided to the device into a level of content suitable to each device capability. To efficiently superdistribute SVC content, this paper defines three requirements and proposes redistribution mechanism which satisfies these requirements using another licence that it is called 'Ticket'. Our system allows devices to redistribute the content freely in the domain using domain key.

  • Security is crucial for the successful deployment of large distributed systems. Many of these systems provide services to people across different administrative domains. The traditional identity-based access control mechanisms are un scalable and difficult to manage. Unlike the closed systems, open systems provide services to people from different security domains. Healthcare systems need to be highly available in order for the patients to get a timely treatment. The health care information should be available to authorized users both inside the administrative domain and outside the domain, such as pharmacies and insurance companies. In this paper, we first analyzed the necessities and advantages of importing attribute-based trust-management models into open distributed systems. Then we reviewed traditional access-control models and presented the basic elements of the new trust-management model.

  • The IMO e-navigation strategy has requested a communication infrastructure providing authorized seamless information transfer between stakeholders. The Maritime Cloud is the term used to describe the concept of an infrastructure that support authorized, seamless information transfer, adding those elements, that are necessary to support the e-navigation domain. It is necessary to consider the study on maritime cloud security, but the study is still an early stage. In this paper, we propose a secure synchronization method for the maritime cloud services. The proposed method can be synchronize between the vessel based on the SH-Tree, and it has the advantage that there is no exposure information in the synchronization process.

  • In this paper, we proposed the interoperable DRM(Digital Rights Management) system that allows to redistribute contents safely based on home domain. We tried to solve the problem about contents redistribution between devices under different DRM regime so that we suggested a interoperable DRM system that allow end users to redistribute contents within home domain can solve the restriction and the inconvenience occuring in using contents and at the same time protect the right of contents producer and provider as well. In order that end users can use freely their contents using home digital device without additional payment, we must build a home domain for interoperable DRM system for contents redistribution among devices. If both of exporting device and importing device are authenticated in home domain by HADM(Home Authorized Domain Manager), then the exporting device can redistribute packaged contents under importing DRM regime to the importing device by DIM(DRM Interoperability Manager).

  • This study analyzes the depictions of scientists and teachers' thoughts on the 2015 revised elementary school science authorized 3rd-4th grade textbooks from the perspective of gender equality, and suggest improvements for the 2015 elementary school science authorized 5th-6th grade textbooks as well as a 2022 revised elementary school science curriculum. The data consist of representations of scientists found in seven elementary science textbooks provided to 3rd- and 4th-grade students in 2022 as well as in-depth interviews conducted with three elementary school teachers and responses from 32 teachers in Gyeonggi-do. Of the 23 scientists depicted in the textbooks, three (13.0%) are female and 10 (43.5%) worked in the inquiry domain, which was the largest group. When the teachers were asked about their perceptions of the gender ratio of scientists in the textbooks, their answers revealed that they had lower perceptions of female scientists compared to male scientists; moreover, they had no or very little teaching experience concerning female scientists. Furthermore, the teachers' thoughts on improving the gender ratio of scientists depicted in the textbooks differed considerably by the teachers' gender. Based on these findings, it was concluded that during the process of producing textbooks, writers and members of society need to agree on the gender ratio of scientists to be represented, and a social consensus is needed to identify and introduce the achievements of previously unknown female scientists towards gender equality.

  • The Maritime Cloud is a technology that enables the seamless exchange of information between several communication links in the maritime domain. Although research on The Maritime Cloud security is still at an early stage, furthering this knowledge is vital to securing the marine environment. In this paper, we propose a method for secure data transmission through The Maritime Cloud domain. The proposed technique, based on the "secret sharing" scheme, is delivered through specifically-dedicated geocasting software. Thus, only authorized vessels can restore the original information. The proposed method is safe from so-called "sniffing" and "man-in-the-middle" attacks.

  • This study was investigated 35 government-authorized and officially approved textbooks for the Fisheries and marine high school which were published by the 2007 Revised Curriculum at 2009 for analyzing the objective and content domains concerning school the low carbon green growth education. Prior to the grounds of analyzing for the objective and content domains were presented, the factors of the grounds were made based on the low carbon green growth standards for the nation. According to the analysis, the findings which were as follows; 18(51.4%) in 35 textbooks and 666(6.4%) in 10,406 pages were related the low carbon green growth education in the course of the Fisheries and marine high school education. There were 37 participation domains, 27 information and knowledge domains, 9 value and attitude domains and 6 skill domains in the objective domains. The content domains were consisted of 33 green growth, 23 climate change, 10 energy conservation, 6 low carbon and 6 international cooperation.

  • In this study, we focus on addressing the functional domain of research related to indexing XML data in wireless networks, emphasizing ensuring data confidentiality. The abstract outlines a novel indexing method designed for broadcasting encrypted XML data over wireless networks. The proposed technique involves two channels: one for indexing and another for transmitting the actual XML data. The method ensures data security by encrypting the XML stream, allowing mobile devices to access only authorized bits based on their access permissions. Despite an increase in data access time and device tuning time, the study concludes that the proposed indexing technique significantly enhances the security of transmitting XML data over mobile wireless networks.
