Implementation of Hybrid Smartcard Using Multi Encryption Method (다중 암호화 기법을 활용한 하이브리드 스마트카드 구현)

  • With the rapid development of information and communication technology, online dissemination increases rapidly. So, It becomes more important to protect information. Recently the authentication system using public key infrastructure (PKI) is being utilized as an information protection infrastructure for electronic business transactions. And the smartcard system makes the most use of such an infrastructure. But because the certification based on the current PKI provides oかy basic user certification information, the use has to be limited in various application services that need the identification and authorization information as well as face-to-face information of the user. In order to protect a system from various kinds backings and related treats, we have proposed angular and private key multiplexing for prevention of smartcard forgery and alteration based on a photopolymer cryptosystem. When smartcard becomes prone to forgery and alteration, we should be able to verify it. Also, our parer proposes a new authentication system using multi authentication based on PKI. The smartcard has an excellent advantage in security and moving.

  • AAA(Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) protocol is a framework that propose functions of AAA on multiple networks and platforms. AAA protocol is extending from previous RADIUS protocol to Diameter protocol. There are some Diameter applications for variety purpose. Diameter CMS Application makes Diameter messages more secure by using PKI. Diameter CMS Application establish DSA(Diameter Security Association) for end to end security. However the Application has some problems to establish DSA(Diameter Security Association), which can make Diameter system unstable. If one system lose DSA information for some system error - for example, reboot -, the secure communication between two nodes may not be possible. At the application such as MIP, even user registration can't be done. In this paper, we propose a mechannism for DSA re-establishment, and also show the result of the implementation.

Design of a Secure and Fast Handoff Method for Mobile If with AAA Infrastructure (AAA 기반 Mobile IP 환경에서 안전하고 빠른 핸드오프 기법 설계)

  • Mobile IP Low Latency Handoffs allow greater support for real-time services on a Mobile W network by minimizing the period of time when a mobile node is unable to send or receive IP packets due to the delay in the Mobile IP Registration process. However, on Mobile IP network with AAA servers that are capable of performing Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting(AAA) services, every Registration has to be traversed to the home network to achieve new session keys, that are distributed by home AAA server, for a new Mobile IP session. This communication delay is the time taken to re-authenticate the mobile node and to traverse between foreign and home network even if the mobile node has been previously authorized to old foreign agent. In order to reduce these extra time overheads, we present a method that performs Low Latency Handoffs without requiring funker involvement by home AAA server. The method re-uses the previously assigned session keys. To provide confidentiality and integrity of session keys in the phase of key exchange between agents, it uses a key sharing method by gateway foreign agent that Performs a ousted thirty party. The Proposed method allows the mobile node to perform Low Latency Handoffs with fast as well as secure operation

  • As a large quantity of information is presented in XML format on the web, there are increasing demands for XML security. Research area or n security is about Encryption Digital signature, Key management and Access control. until now research on U security has been focused on the security of data network using digital signature and encryption technology. As XML data become extensive and complex XML security comes to involve not only network security but also managerial security. Managerial security is guaranteed through access control. But XML Encryption supports simple network security. So it can't support multiple users and multiple access control policies. In this paper, we propose an integration method of encryption and access control policy for securing XML documents. This methodology can supper multiple authorizations of multiple users with integrating access control. And this can reduce the cost of evaluation process of the existing complicated access authorization with pre-processing.

  • AAA protocol is an information protection technology which systematically provides authentication, authorization and accounting function not only in the existing wire network but also in the rapidly developing wireless network, various services and protocol. Nowadays, standardization of the various application services is in progress with the purpose of AAA standardization fer the mobile user in the wireless network. And various researches are being conducted fur using AAA in the roaming service and mobile IPv6 network between heterogeneous networks. In this paper uses OTP and ID-based ticket for user authentication in the mobile device under the ubiquitous environment, and service is seamlessly provided even though the mobile device moves from the home network to the foreign network. In addition, with the ticket renewed from the foreign network, the overhead of the home authentication server can be reduced, and provides anonymity of service through the anonymity ID.

  • As computing devices become ubiquitous and increasingly mobile, it becomes obvious that a synchronous and direct peer-to-peer communication model is not sufficient in distributed computing environment. Using an indirect event service instead of other traditional communication model has an advantage of decreasing the coupling of applications in a distributed environment and removing the need for many static dependencies. In this paper, we design and implement the secure event service for providing secure ubiquitous computing environment. The Secure Event Service implemented enables users to perform content-based event retrieval, and supports only eligible event comsumer and event producer can publish and receive events through the secure event service. SPKI/SDSI certificate is used for supporting authentication and authorization in the secure event service. In order to provide a content-based event retrieval, an asynchronous communication between event producers and consumers, and a disconnectedness support for mobile devices, we modify and expand the Javaspace package.

  • In the paper, we proposed an IM-ACM(Insider Misuse-Access Control Model) for preventing illegal information leakage by insider who exploits his legal rights in the ubiquitous computing environment. The IM-ACM can monitor whether insider uses data rightly using misuse monitor add to CA-TRBAC(Context Aware-Task Role Based Access Control) which permits access authorization according to user role, context role, task and entity's security attributes. It is difficult to prevent information leakage by insider because of access to legal rights, a wealth of knowledge about the system. The IM-ACM can prevent the information flow between objects which have the different security levels using context role and security attributes and prevent an insider misuse by misuse monitor which comparing an insider actual processing behavior to an insider possible work process pattern drawing on the current defined profile of insider's process.

  • Substance identification is the first step in implementing chemical legislation, such that subsequent hazard and risk assessments can be accurately followed. Based on the web page and related guidance documents of the European Chemicals Agency and available consortia information, the procedure for substance identification carried out in Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is surveyed. In this study, the importance of substance identification and substance sameness check, as well as the necessity of generating a substance identity profile (SIP) are considered. In addition, the SIPs of several substance types are presented, which focused on information utilization in the instrumental analysis results and organization of information to generate the SIP. Analytical science can contribute to the accurate and effective implementation of chemical regulation at the starting stage of substance identification. However, understanding of the regulation and consequent final wrap-up of analytical results as a SIP should be followed for communication among registrants in Substance Information Exchange Forum (SIEF) as well as with related authorities.

  • Hospitals store and manage personal and health information through the electronic medical record (EMR). However, vulnerabilities and threats are increasing with the provision of various services for information sharing in hospitals. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a model to prevent personal information leakage due to the transmission of patient information in EMR. A method for granting permission to securely receive and transmit patient information from hospitals where patient medical records are stored is proposed using OAuth authorization tokens. A protocol was proposed to enable secure information delivery by applying and delivering the record access restrictions desired by the patient to the OAuth Token. OAuth Delegation Token can be delivered by writing the authority, scope, and time of destruction to view patient information.This prevents the illegal collection of patient information and prevents the leakage of personal information that may occur during the delivery process.

  • Due to the rapid progress in network technology, many research on content security technologies is also being conducted in the mobile digital content sector. In the meantime, content protection has been immersed in preventing illegal copying, certifying, and issuance/management certificates, but still have many vulnerabilities in managing or authenticating confidential information. This study aims to strengthen confidential information about content based on dual management of content download rights through mobile phone numbers or device numbers. It also protect replay-attack by building a secure mobile DRM system where digital content is safely distributed based on a three-stage user authentication process. In addition, blockchain-based content security enhancements were studied during the primary/secondary process for user authentication for the prevention of piracy and copyright protection. In addition, the client authentication process was further improved through three final stages of authorization in the use of illegal content, considering that legitimate users redistributed their content to third-party.
