  • With precise GPS carrier positioning result, we can get attitude information if GPS antenna has adequate attaching position on the vehicle. In this case, baseline length information can be bandied as an additional measurement or constraint. In this paper, we have proposed a method to improve the attitude accuracy. To overcome nonlinearity of baseline observation model, we analyze attitude estimation result using existing estimation method like a least square method and Kalman filter, and apply a new nonlinear estimation method an unscented Kalman filter Finally we confirm the improvement of attitude estimation result in the case of appling the unscented Kalman filter.

  • As the remote sensing satellite technology grows, the acquisition of accurate attitude and position information of the satellite has become more and more important. Due to the data processing limitation of the on-board orbit propagator and attitude determination algorithm, it is required to develop much more accurate orbit and attitude determination, which are so called POD (precision orbit determination) and PAD (precision attitude determination) techniques. The sensor and attitude dynamics simulation takes a great part in developing a PAD algorithm for two reasons: 1. when a PAD algorithm is developed before the launch, realistic sensor data are not available, and 2. reference attitude data are necessary for the performance verification of a PAD algorithm. A realistic attitude dynamics and sensor (IRU and star tracker) outputs simulation considering their physical characteristics are presented in this paper, which is planned to be used for a PAD algorithm development, test and performance verification.

  • This study aimed at providing the basic data for the measurement of the attitude for socialization of household work by analysis of the attitude for socialization of houselhold work according to demographic variables, the degree of acceptance for living change. This study was composed of the attitude for the socialization of household work was based on time, quality, cost factor. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The attitude for socialization of household work was influenced by sex, age, marriage, sex $\times$ marriage and the degree of acceptance for living change. 2. The variables which affected the attitude for socialization of household work independently had influence on it in the following order : the degree of acceptance for living change, sex, house type. 3. The result of path analysis had confirmed that sex, age, income marriage, house type variable indirectly influenced the attitude for socialization of household work through the degree of acceptance for living change. Sex, and marriage variable directly influenced on the attitude for socialization of household work. Through the this study. The attitude for socialization of houselhold work was influnced by the degree of acceptance for living change. Change of household work is socialization of household work and right attitude to the socialization fof household work is necessary for satisfaction of variouse needs. for saving of time and money through the socialization of household work.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the levels of self-monitoring, self-consciousness and cosmetic attitude of female university students and to analyze the relationship between the levels of self-monitoring, self-consciousness and cosmetic attitude in an effort to strengthen external human beauty. The respondents were 264 university women attending a university Chung-Cheong Province in Korea. In this study, a questionnaire method was used. The questionnaire consisted of SMS(self-monitoring scale), the(self-consciousness scale), and a measurement of the cosmetic attitude. Earlier studies were used to create the measuring instruments with some adjustments for the purpose of this research. Factorial analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were carried out with SPSS 18.0. The cosmetic attitude consisted of four factors, and those factors were related to self-monitoring and self-consciousness. The Four factors were happiness with change, manners to others, the instrument of change, and conformity. It was found that the cosmetic attitude reflected the personal internal mental states; hence, the cosmetic attitude was used as method to express the internal mind. Determining the correlations between self-monitoring, self-consciousness and the cosmetic attitude was useful in understanding the personal peculiarity of the cosmetic attitude. Moreover, in the cosmetic industry, it is likely meaningful to investigate the capability whether the variables of self-monitoring and self-consciousness can be applied in an effort to understand consumers' internal character.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relative influence of multiple error sources and to find optimal measurement conditions that obtain a desired level of reliability of a creative attitude test in mathematical creativity. This study analyzed the scores of the Creative Attitude Scale-Korea allowed to access publicly of 125 general students and 109 mathematically gifted students by performing a multivariate generalizability analysis. The main results were as follows. First, based on reliability, the Creative Attitude Scale-Korea was measured less precisely for mathematically gifted students. On the contrary, based on the conditional standard error of measurement, it was measured less precisely for general students. However, the Creative Attitude Scale-Korea showed strong reliability in both groups. Second, the optimal weights should adjust to .3, .3, .4 in mathematically gifted students and .4, .4, .2 in general students with three scoring components of divergent attitude, problem solving attitude, and convergent attitude based on the maximum reliability. Third, to approach desirable reliability, it is possible to use one component of divergent attitude in general students but three components of divergent attitude, problem solving attitude, and convergent attitude in mathematically gifted students. Finally this study proposed application plans for the Creative Attitude Scale-Korea and future directions of research.

  • This paper is concerned with attitude estimation using low cost, small-sized accelerometers and gyroscopes. A two step extended Kalman filter is proposed, which adaptively compensates external acceleration. External acceleration is the main source of estimation error. In the proposed filter, direction of external acceleration is estimated. According to the estimated direction, the accelerometer measurement covariance matrix of the two step extended Kalman filter is adjusted. The proposed algorithm is verified through experiments.

  • In the original design of K2 tank the Vertical Sensor Unit(VSU) was mounted to measure the attitude of the main gun to enhance the hit probability. In this research, as a part of efforts to reduce the cost of K2, it was theoretically simulated and evaluated to use the data from Inertial Navigation System(INS) for the calculation of the gun attitude instead of the direct measurement using VSU. It was found that the negative effect of INS approach is negligible and the elimination of VSU is technically possible and beneficial to the system.

  • Momentum changing actuators like reaction wheels and control moment gyros are generally used for spacecraft attitude control. This type of actuators produces force and torque disturbances. These disturbances must be reduced since they degrade the quality of spacecraft attitude control. Major disturbances are mainly due to static and dynamic imbalances. This paper gives attention to the reduction of the static and dynamic imbalance. Force/torque measurement system is used to measure the disturbance of the test reaction wheel. An identification method for the location and magnitude of the imbalance is suggested, and the corrections of the imbalance are performed using balancing method. Through balancing, the static and dynamic imbalance is remarkably reduced.

  • This paper proposes SDINS(strapdown inertial navigation system) transfer alignment method for vertical launcher using an adaptive filter in the ship. First, the velocity and attitude matching transfer alignment method is designed to align SDINS for vertical launcher. Second, the adaptive filter is employed to estimate measurement noise variance in real time using the residual of measurements. Because it is difficult to decide measurement noise variance when noise properties of the ship SDINS are changed. To verify its performance, it is compared with the EKF(Extended Kalman filter) using uncorrect measurement variance. The monte carlo simulation results show that proposed method is more effective in estimating attitude angle than EKF.

  • This study was conducted to develop the questionnaire for the measurement of environmental attitudes and test its reliability and validity. Development and valiadation of the 46 survey items that measure environmental attitudes were described. The total of 3 surveys were conducted and the total of 510 persons including diverse sample groups were questionnaired. The SAS $PC^+$ package program was used in both the reliability analysis and the validity analysis of surveyed data. Results revealed the very high reliability and the high validity of the questionnaire. The reliability of the finalized questionnaire was increased to the level of Cronbach-$\alpha$ 0.92 after the repeated reliability analyses and revisions of the firstly and secondly designed questionnaires. The validity of our questionnaire was sufficiently affirmed through the use and aplication of factor analysis and known-groups technique.
