본 연구의 목적은 빅토리아 알렉산더(Victoria Alexander)의 '보완된 문화 다이아몬드(Modified Cultural Diamond)'모델이 제시한 분배 체계의 역할을 비판적으로 탐구하여 쟁점화하는 데 있다. 스트리트 아티스트인 뱅크시(Banksy)를 단일 사례로 채택하고, 다양한 이차자료를 본 연구의 목적에 따라 수집·분석하였다. 먼저, 본 연구는 분배 체계를 구성하는 시장 매개자들로 인한 뱅크시 작품의 미학적 담론의 형성 및 가치 증대에 대하여 살펴보았다. 더불어, 본 논문은 뱅크시의 행위와 작품을 알렉산더의 이론적 틀에 위치시키며, '보안된 문화 다이아몬드'의 분배 체계가 가진 다음 세 가지 측면에서 비판적으로 논하였다; 첫째, 분배 체계로 인한 예술가와 예술품의 분리; 둘째, 예술가와 소비자 간 직접적인 연결의 단절; 셋째, 예술가에 의한 작품 분배 가능성 배제. 이와 같은 논의를 바탕으로, 본 연구는 알렉산더의 이론적 모델을 학문적으로 쟁점화하는 것에 그 의의가 있다.

Club culture is the global trend for youth in 21st century. Club is the space that is created with close relationship among music, dance and fashion. It is also experimental cultural art space with endlessly transforming style. Furthermore it is a space for independent minor culture which represents speciality than generality of cultural appetite and style of club. Cultural communities formed around club and their parties have placed as a strong subculture trend based on youth age group. What they are creating as a subculture could be our tomorrow's main trend and clubbers also could be our major power sources for future. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to club culture. The purposes of this research are to identify the concept of clubber, to analyzes their basic club culture characteristics and elements, and to find out unique fashion styles of Korean clubber in comparison with the origin. To study club fashion style's origin and background, this study searched a theoretical flow from 1930's to 1990's. Then, Korean clubber's style is derived by comparing background and origin of Korean club culture with those of abroad. To analyze in various point of view, theoretical backgrounds about social, cultural, dresses, and design were considered. Since research target is a visual image, street fashion is analyzed on through, music channels and magazines from 1930's to present as well as designer's art photographies. Internet sites', cub culture association's and sound association's photos were also extracted. as a visual evidences to offer actual evidences. Geological targets are selected among Korean club culture's origin such as Hong-Ik University area, Shin-chon, Chungdam-dong and Apgujung-dong areas. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, clubber's fashion style influenced magnificently on major fashion design instead of being just youngster's resistance toward control group and it is contributing to our fashion culture to enrich it. Secondly, fashion styles of korean clubbers are based on those of western sub-culture, but with a unique localized history.

A townscape has been a main factor in urban-development problems in Japan. In the townscape, keeping harmony with environment is a common goal. But useful and meaningful goals are expressing individuality and impression of the town in the townscape. In this paper, we propose the colony planning support system system to improve the townscape. The system finds propositional colour combinations based on three elements, town image, colour harmony, and cost. The targets of this model are mostly townscapes in residential areas that already exist, In this paper, we introduce the construction of a Kansei evaluation model to quantify the impression. First, we conducted computer-based evaluational experiments for 20 subjects using the SD method to clarify the relationship between town image and street colours. We chose 16 adjective words related to town image and prepared 100 colour picture samples for the evaluation. After the experiments, we constructed the model using a neural network for each word. We chose 62 experimental results for the training data of the neural network and 20 results for the testing data. Each colour in the data was selected to have unique hue, brightness or saturation attributes, After the construction, we tested the model for accuracy. We input the testing data into the constructed model and calculated errors between the output from the model and the experimental results. Testing of the model showed that the model worked well for more than 80％ of the samples. The model demonstrated influences of colours on the town image.

This dissertation intended to investigate the black color as a fashion color of the late 20th century and the aesthetic consciousness of black fashion. Black usually expressed a negative meaning, and was regarded as a color for a mourning and a sacred dress in western culture. There found several periods of black trend specially after 14th century. Black was considered as a traditional color of men's fashion since Dandyism. By the effect of art d co fashion, the perception toward black changed to a new beauty in 20th century. There continuously found a lot of aspects of black fashion in the late 20th century. In the high fashion, popularity of black, could be seen at five different look and style : The era of line alphabet, pantaloons suit style, folklore style, mannish look and unconstructive design by Japanese, and in street fashion, it showed at four different style and fashion: Beat style, mods and rockers style, punk fashion and fetish fashion. The aesthetic consciousness of black fashion at the late 20th century mentioned above should be summarized as follows. : Minimalism, dandyism, nihilism, asceticism, eroticism. In 1990s, the black appeared under the retro mood, and it should be regarded specially as one fashion trend of inclination of simplicity. Black should be called the representative color of 20th century fashion with the reason of containing the most of aesthetic consciousness in modern fashion.

Food Culture is formed in a unique culture heritage in some areas harmonized with social factors mixed with geographical conditions, natural environment, culture and religion. The more the life skill develops highly, the more people focus on improvement of the life skill in order to realize a delightful and convenient life, and plan an increase of production. Recently food-service companies have changed very quickly with economic environment. Such change will be continued and its speed will be more faster than now. Many food-service companies will disappear for weak competition, if they don’t manage adequately in such a case. Therefore, food-service companies have to search for an efficient, unique and creative management strategy. In such a viewpoint, Kyunggi-do designated five local cities as a model of Food Culture Streets greeting Welcoming Year of Kyunggi-do in 2005. The purpose of this study is to serve the healthy food to visitors visiting the Food Culture Streets and to do public relations about the excellence of their traditional food. In addition, this study includes improving tastes and qualities of food through education about cooking skills, management strategies and the best service with unique and creative menu development. Accordingly, we need to analyze the factors continuously on the business of food culture streets, and intend to use them as a database for high quality education and activity of food service industry in the future.

본 연구에서는 도로경관에서 중요한 요소인 가로수에 대한 감성적 이미지를 평가해보기 위하여 3차원 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 수종 계절별 경관이미지를 제작하였다. 대상지는 대구광역시 수성구에 위치한 동대구로로 설정하였으며, 평가 수종은 개잎갈나무, 메타세콰이어, 튜울립나무, 느티나무로 선정하였다. 제작된 이미지를 바탕으로 설문을 실시한 결과, 여름경관에서는 느티나무의 선호도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 가을 및 겨울경관에서는 메타세콰이어의 선호도가 높게 분석되었다. 감성적 평가요인을 도출하기 위하여 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 심미적 요인, 인지적 요인, 개성적 요인, 자연적 요인, 공간적 요인이 도출되었으며, 선호도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 모든 계절에서 공통적으로 심미적 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 메타세콰이어의 경우 겨울경관에서 다른 수종에 비해 선호도 및 긍정적 의미의 감성이미지가 높게 평가되었으며, 심미적 요인의 감소가 다른 수종에 비해 적은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 수종의 종류 및 계절변화에 따른 감성이미지의 정량적 평가를 통해 쾌적한 도로경관 조성을 위한 객관적 자료 제시 및 경관계획에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

This study attempted to analyze the aspect of seeking a characteristic regeneration of low-rise residential areas through the Urban Regeneration New Deal Project in Seohak-dong Art Village in Jeonju, while the urban regeneration new deal projects are being carried out in various regions, nationwide. Time-series changes in aerial photographs in the study area, age, number of floors, and uses of buildings were examined. The main street structure, lots, and changes in buildings were reviewed, and through this, spatial zones that could extract the unique characteristics of the target area were classified. The characteristics of each area was linked to the proposal of an appropriate regeneration plan through the analysis. This study is meaningful in showing a case of characteristics of low-rise residential areas regeneration plan suitable for the specific region while the number of old low-rise residential areas is increasing.

Philp Lim, Alexander Wang and Jason Wu are the American fashion designers as descendants of Chinese immigrants. They had the honor of being given the Swarovski Awards- new premier fashion designer- from CFDA(Council of Fashion Designers of America). The purpose of this study were to investigate the characteristics of their collection, and offered the informations for Korean designers entering the American market. This research categorized characteristics of these designers'- whole characteristics and the characteristics of details such as formal characteristics, optimistic characteristics, tactile characteristics-, and fashion styles from the S/S season of 2009 to the F/W season of 2010 were analyzed. These young and male designers being received attention as a star, didn't make creative art pieces. But they made pragmatic, commercial, and con-temporary works in whole characteristics and succeeded in their fashion business like other American designers. On the other hand they oriented high fashion clearly in terms of the detail characteristics - their own accent color, tiny change in variety, unique material, delicate ornaments. Therefore Lim created chic and stylish, Wang made a sporty street style, Wu made a luxury style with mannish and casual through work characteristics suitable for their costumer.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the formative characteristics and symbolism shown in Rock stars' hairstyles through rock music to have influenced youth culture. There were a D.A style and a mop top style which included the youth characteristic to seek a new desire and value as the hairstyles of Rock & Roll stars, along with the characteristics of Rock & Roll music to represent the feeling of teenagers in 1950's at that time unlike the previous music due to high beats mixed with Rhythm & Blues (R & B) and Country music, and use of electronic guitars. We can see the desire for challenge and freedom against the then present regime, shouting love and peace, and resistance in the Psychedelic Rock music stars' hairstyle, which are untrimmed and disheveled, that is, natural. We can find explosiveness in Mohican and Spike style of Punk Rock stars playing fierce and aggressive music, along with words including indignation and assertion against the society's regime. The Artistic characteristic is implied in the following hairstyles: Glam Rock stars' hairstyle, a man's long-haired but a little long crew-cut style to reduce the bulky feeling and to give a bisexual, visible shock with hair dyed in orange to emphasize magnificence, and Punk Rock stars' hairstyle showing beauty in their own way with expression of anti-beauty to intentionally look ugly. Like this, the 20th Century's Rock music and youth culture are closely associated each other, and showed a new style, and played a leading role in street fashion, which became a momentum to much influence high fashion as a look of the 20th century modern fashion.

The purpose of this study is to examine the tattoo look in modern fashion from the aspects of 'expression techniques' and 'aesthetic properties'. Tattoos are one of the body decoration which have been continued for a long time all over the world and have contained various meanings in : invocation. symbolization. solidification, exotic tastes, and body decoration. While tattoos have been progressed for the past time, they have been enlarged into body painting, make-up, and even into body art. Besides, their technical skills and equipments have been also developed. Therefore, tattoos are neither tabooed nor restricted in lower class, such as gangsters, bickers, prostitutes, etc., any longer. They are showed in everywhere of our society, running on the fashion. Specially, in fashion, they are shown through the 'tattoo look' designed by talented fashion designers. Futhermore, tattoos are one of the things which have gotten a new value under the Post-modernism and the turning of the century. The various tattoo looks in modern fashion are classified into four categories, according to the expression techniques, the use of see-through, reappearance of primitive body-decoration, application of tattoo patterns, application of street styles'tattoo patterns, make-up & body painting. And, they are also classified into four categories, according to the aesthetic properties Exoticism, Eroticism, Primitivism, and Grotesque.
