조선후기는 근대 서민 문예의 부흥기로서, 서민문예의 대두와 더불어 일어난 서민계층의 등장은 복식에 있어서의 대중 복식 문화를 부각시키면서 복식의 유행현상이 나타나게 되었다. 이 시기 모든 계층의 여성 복식에서 공통적으로 풍미한 유행사조는 과장된 치마허리 그리고 둔부를 volume감 있게 강조한 치마등을 통해 여체를 드러낸 선정적인 silhouette이 나타났다. 유교 규범에 의해 억제되고 절제된 여성들의 복식행동(clothing behavior)에서 이처럼 육체를 긍정한다는 것은 사회의 일정한 진보단계에 위치한다고 보겠다. 그것은 Eroticism자체는 영원한 인간의 본능에 의존하겠지만, 이 Eroticism을 통하여 어떤 사회적 질곡을 벗어나려고 하는데에 있어서는 그 Eroticism의 발로가 사회적 의의를 가지는 것이다. 그러므로 조선후기의 여성복식에서의 Erotic Mode는 여성들 자신의 것인 동시에 그 사회의 것이며, 그것은 가식적이고 표면적인 유교적 도덕관의 외피 속에 흐르고 있는 인간성의 폭로이고, 그것을 표현할 수 있다는 데에 서민문예의 진보성과 근대성이 있는 것이다.

The surrealism art form comes from the world of unconsciousness. Based on its expression of the world of imaginary, it boldly demonstrates the arrangement and the forms of contradicted objects and the development of collage, montage, and protage techniques in the works which had a big influence on the growth of the modern art. The ideology and the modeling characteristics shown in the surrealism had various expressive forms and meanings in the modern compound expression and it grew out of the former standarlized forms and brought diversity and individuality based on the sensibility of the new avant-garde art form and showed great potential as it presented harmony in the multiple forms of art. The purpose of the research was to analyze the influences that were put on the surrealistic fashion art works and the works of the representative designer, Jean Paul Gotie. The characteristics of Jean Paul Gotie's surrealistic fashion comes from destruction, sexual image, and the mixture of heterogeneous. It is evident that the surrealistic fashion went beyond certain groups of avant-gardists' salvation of the world and were put to practice use, reaching out to the ordinary consumers. This was resulted from the revolutionary movement called, "anti-mode van fashion" led by Gotie. The surrealistic style will be led by various techniques and trends and developed through new characteristics in multiculture merged with various fashion styles.

예술을 논함에 있어 '과학의 진보'와 '인간의 정서'라는 두 가지 문제의 상충은 끊임없이 대두되었다. 과학의 편리성, 그 이면에 존재하는 인간본연의 감성인 '자연'은 점차 크게 자리잡아갔다. 20세기말부터 성행하던 다소 삭막하게 느껴지는 미니멀리즘을 벗어나 점점 인간과 자연이 하나가 될 수 있는 자연주의가 강조되었고, '자연'은 21세기를 살아가는 우리에게 주어진 가장 중요한 화두로 떠올랐다. 기계와 과학에 의해 삶이 양적으로 향상되어질수록, 삶의 질을 향상시키고자 하는 '자연'에 대한 향수가 인간에게 더욱 절실하게 되었다. 이에 '자연'을 좀 더 효과적으로 나타내고자 아르누보양식의 표현요소를 도입하여, '자연'을 현대적으로 표현한 조형적 특성을 연구하였다. 아르누보는 자연물의 유기적인 형태로부터 모티브를 찾아 이것을 양식화하여 장식미술로 적용하였다. 이는 과거의 양식에서 인용과 절충을 반복하는, 역사주의적 전통을 과감히 개혁함으로써 현대디자인의 문을 열었고, 더불어 미술을 모든 생활에 실용화하려는 점에서 커다란 역사적 의미를 갖는 양식이다. 신예술을 의미하는, 19세기말부터 20세기 초에 걸쳐 번성했던 아르누보는 한 세기가 지난 현재에 와서 재평가되고 수용되어 다양하고 새롭게 나타나고 있다. '자연주의'를 근본으로 하는 아르누보 양식은 현대에 오면서 내추럴리즘이 주류를 이루고, 여성스런 로맨티시즘이 유행하면서 패션, 가구, 유리 공예, 보석 공예 등의 다양한 장르의 예술에서 모티브로 부활하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아르누보에서 나타난 식물모티브를 적용한 다양한 분야의 아르누보작가들의 작품을 중심으로 형태적 요소와 표현요소의 특성을 다양하게 해석하고, 이를 바탕으로 나타난 공통된 조형미를 분석하고자하였다. 아르누보양식에서 나타나는 섬세하고 화려한 곡선의 장식미와 형태의 부드럽고 유려한 곡선표현의 효과적인 디자인적용가능성을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 창의적으로 분석된 조형이미지로의 아르누보 식물모티브를 디자인에 새롭게 시도하는 계기가 되고자 한다.

This study deals with the interchange with art that is contained in the works of Yves Saint Laurent, and it is disclosed through his works that modern fashion is part of expressive art while pursuing creative function as a work of art. The study has been performed on the basis of the references, the pictures of his works and interviews posted in domestic and overseas fashion magazines such as Vogue, Fashion News, Mode & Mode, Gap, Collections, etc. Regarding the scope of this study, it specifically deals with works he created from 1958 until 2002, when he announced his last collection. The results of the study show that with respect to Post-Impressionism, his works were greatly affected by van Gogh(who had used colors as active media in depicting his internal mental state) which gave birth to gorgeous and handicraft-like 'Couture-style clothes'. With respects to Fauvism, the works of Matisse also had an impact on Yves Saint Laurent, who added a sense of fauvism in his works through the use of colors, motif, or full reproduction of images from paintings. We see the influence of cubism upon Laurent when we examine his works of 'clothes with artistic value,' which utilized applique, beaded decoration, patchwork, embroidered patterns, relief-like ornaments, etc. using motif or objet much as we see in the works of Picasso and Braque, artists who expressed a new dimension of the formative arts. Laurent's use of neoplasticism, or plainness of painting, demonstrates a new formative art on the three-dimensional human body by using the works of Mondrian, which consist of black lines and primary colors, although generally Laurent's 'neoplastic'works differed from the works of Mondrian by more actively utilizing the lines and colors when designing dress and its ornament. In addition, the paintings and poems of surrealism artists and poets were directly used in the clothes or their images were sometimes borrowed. In order to express respect toward the spirit of surrealism and its artists, the human body motifs such as lips and eyes(which were frequently used by the surrealism artists) were applied to embroidery, printing and beaded decoration. Finally, being inspired by such Pop artists as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Tom Wesselman, Laurent further emphasized the aesthetic value of the popular consumer image in his own work, resulting in the wide recognition of the designs of Yves Saint Laurent as representing the new wave of the Pop Art school.

Signal decomposition is a computational technique that dissects a signal into its constituent components, providing supplementary information. In this study, the capability of two common signal decomposition techniques, including wavelet-based and empirical mode decomposition, on preterm birth classification was investigated. Ten time-domain features were extracted from the constituent components of electrohysterogram (EHG) signals, including EHG subbands and EHG intrinsic mode functions, and employed for preterm birth classification. Preterm birth classification and anticipation are crucial tasks that can help reduce preterm birth complications. The computational results show that the preterm birth classification obtained using wavelet-based decomposition is superior. This, therefore, implies that EHG subbands decomposed through wavelet-based decomposition provide more applicable information for preterm birth classification. Furthermore, an accuracy of 0.9776 and a specificity of 0.9978, the best performance on preterm birth classification among state-of-the-art signal processing techniques, were obtained using the time-domain features of EHG subbands.

The ATO(Automatic Train Operation) System is used for train operation instead of drivers. It is interfaced with TCMS(Train Control and Monitoring System) and ATC/TWC system in the train and wayside facilities. In this paper describes configuration of ATO, specification of ATO hardware, construction of ATO software and the algorithm fur automatic train speed regulation in the carborn ATO system. ATO Application Software is consist of ART, SPR, REG, SRV and PSM tasks. ART task is main control part of the ATO that determine ATO control, ATO mode, state transition. SPR determine speed reference according to train motion status, track data, train data and restricted train speed. REG task regulated train speed form the starting of one station to the precision stop at the other station under the result of ART and SPR tasks. In this paper, a algorithm for the train speed regulation while running is described.

Jo Taek-seung(曺澤承, 1841-1907), who devoted himself to medical science mostly living in Haenam, and his son Jo Byeong-hu(曺秉侯, 1869-?) are significant in the history of Korean oriental medicine. The medical science of Jo Taek-seung appointed as Jusa(主事) of Hyeminwon(惠民院) in 1902 was handed down to his only son Jo Byeong-hu, who succeeded to his father's medicine and polished up the medicine, and recorded the results "Sanghangyeongheombangyochwal(傷寒經驗方要撮)" in 1933. Jo Taek-seung's portrait has been handed down to Jo Taek-seung's descendents' house in Munane-ri, Haeman. Not only does Jo Taek-seung's portraits well present the features of portrait mode of Joseon Dynasty period in the 19th century in their front view, exposure of two hands, expressive mode, background articles, etc, but also praises, poems, etc. giving information on manufacture intent, etc. to give prominence to the authors recorded by Jo Taek-seung, time of manufacture and position of medical official appears in one screen. In this paper, through disaster-removing poetic sentence showed in Jo Taek-seun'sg portraits, it was found that the author of the portrait is Choi Byeong-uk who worked mostly staying in Seoul and the present portrait was the one re-painted in 1907 by revising the portrait painted in 1894 when Jo Taek-seung was 54 years old, after Jo Taek-seung died. With regard to revised portion, presuming through records on the picture and comparative analysis of mode with portraits of doctors in the 20th century, it seems that the clothing of Confucian scholars in the first version was revised into the clothing of medical officials showing the position of Jo Taek-seung who took office as Jusa of Hyeminwon at the time of re-painting the portrait. Jo Taek-seung's portrait not only becomes important materials in the oriental medicine and historical world in the aspect of manufacture process, mode, etc. of Korean portraits including an aspect of medical official's portraits, but has significant meaning from the aspect of fine art history or clothing history.

예술 작품은 고립되어 존재하는 것이 아니라 그 사회의 문화적 배경과 시대적 상황의 영향을 받아 제작되는 것이며 예술자체는 시대를 반영한다고 할 수 있다. 즉 작가의 내면세계에 뿌리를 두고 그것과 연결된 여러 외부적 또는 시대적 조건들과 상호작용을 하는 속에서 작품이 이루어지며, 이러한 예술창작의 저작물로 인하여 사회의 문화적 코드에 영향을 미치는 순환적인 인과관계를 가진다고 할 수 있겠다. 그러한 이유로 현대 사회처럼 복잡하고 다변화된 사회에서의 개인과, 개인의 의식구조 속에서 탄생되는 예술작품은 가히 전위적인 시각으로 전개되어져 왔다. 다양한 사회적 요구와 보다 다변화된 의식구조들은 그로 인한 예술작품의 다양화에도 많은 영향을 끼쳤으며, 실제로 지난 수 세기보다 최근 1세기 안에 이루어진 문화적, 산업적 변화는 비교할 수 없을 만큼 컸다. 따라서 예술작품의 형식 또한 이러한 시대의 흐름과 무관할 수 없다고 하겠다. 이미 예술 분야에서도 전통적인 형식의 표현 기법에서 탈피한 수많은 시도가 이루어지고 있으며, 점차 장르의 구분을 탈피한 많은 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 그런 의미에서 최근의 멀티미디어 아트란 디지털 화 된 시대의 흐름에 영향을 받아 필연적으로 발생한 것이라 할 수 있겠다. 더 이상 인터넷이나 멀티미디어라는 말이 극소수의 전문가만을 위한 영역이 아니라, 대중의 일상에 깊이 침투한 오늘날에 이르러서는 이미 일련의 멀티미디어라는 도구를 이용한 예술 작품은 테크놀로지 아트, 정보미술, 컴퓨터아트, 디지털아트, 뉴미디어 아트 등의 다양한 이름으로 많은 실험이 이루어지고 있으며, 기존의 예술 작품과는 달리 실제로 이러한 저작물들이 테크놀로지와 결합하여 산업적으로 활용되고 있기도 하다. 이에 이 논문에서는 멀티미디어 아트의 개념을 알아보고, 이러한 멀티미디어 아트의 사회적 작용에 대해 연구하며, 이 새로운 형식의 미술의 현황과, 일련의 작업들이 꾸준한 생명력을 가기고 존재할 수 있을지에 대한 전망을 해 보고자 한다.

과학과 기술의 발전에 따라서 개인이나 소수의 팀 작업 제작방식으로 인디게임은 새로운 예술 창작수단으로 발전하게 되었다. 현재 출시되어진 인디게임 작품들에서 모더니즘을 포함하는 작품들이 계속해서 나오고 있다. 본문은 인디게임 < The Binding of Isacc >을 예로, 게임 시나리오, 디자인 스타일, 스테이지 분석을 통하여 서양 모더니즘문학, 미술, 영화의 특징과 표현 형태를 비교하고 모더니즘이 인디게임에 미치는 영향력을 연구한다. 또한 모더니즘 사조가 인디게임에 미치는 영향력에 대한 탐구를 심도 있게 분석하고, 이를 통해서 생산력의 진보가 대중문화 발전에 기여한다는 점을 증명하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to research the conspicuous consumption characteristic expressed in the modern fashion. The conspicuous consumptions are classified with 2 parts as follows as: 1. The motive of conspicuous consumption, 2. The effect of conspicuous consumption. And the motive of conspicuous consumption is 1) conspicuous consumption, 2) conformity consumption, 3) compensatory consumption. The effect of conspicuous consumption is 1) veblen effect, 2) bandwagon effect, 3) snob effect. The veblen effect is caused either by the belief that higher price means higher quality, or by the desire for conspicuous consumption to be seen as buying an expensive, prestige item. The bandwagon effect is people tend to follow the crowd without examining the merits of a particular thing. The snob effect refers to the desire to own unusual, expensive or unique goods. The conspicuous consumption has produced conflicting results of the homogeneous imitation and the different scarcity. Consequently conspicuous consumption characteristic expressed in the modern fashion refers to the conformable imitation and the different scarcity. The conformable imitation is pursuit of first lady look and imitation. The different scarcity refers to the desire to own exclusive or unique goods. The unique value is pursuit of limited edition and art mode.
