  • This paper describes the current control simulation of the Linear Oscillatory Actuator and then, the dynamic simulation algorithm considering the armature reaction effect. Thirdly, the control algorithm is proposed to reciprocate a load without mechanical spring at the required stroke and position.

  • The well-conditioned observer design method is extended for two-output systems where observer gains are not determined uniquely with respect to the desired observer poles. Similar to the previous results, this design method makes off-diagonal elements of the observer upper-left submatrix skew-symmetric and simulataneously, places the eigenvalues of the observer matrix widely separated by selecting upper two rows of the observer gain. The proposed design method is evaluated in a spindle-drive example where the load speed is estimated based on motor speed and the armature current.

  • Two subterranean harpacticoid species are recorded from cavern and interstitial waters in South Korea: Parastenocaris ondali n. sp. and P brevipes Kessler, 1913. Parastenocaris ondali n. sp. resembles P nipponensis Chappuis, 1955 from Japan, but differs from it by shorter caudal rami, armature of leg 5, and short endopodal processes of leg 4 in both sexes. Herein, the new species is described, and systematic accounts of both species are provided with detailed illustrations.

  • An electric control fuel injector of a diesel engine injection systems is very important apparatus for fuel economy and emission control. It's performance was influenced by hydraulic contro1 of valve and solenoid especially the solenoid was important factor for operation and control of injector. In this paper. we made solenoids of 4 type. which changed the shape of armature and core. and measured magnetic force according to input current, and analyzed characteristics of solenoid on the shape through the test results.

  • The 4-pole LHSM was composed of the figure-of-eight shaped 3-phase armature windings. DC field windings, and the segmented secondary with the transverse bar track. These parameters were computed from the analytical expressions and examined from FEM analysis.

  • This paper considered the energy saving problem of D.C. motor in arbitrary load condition. We can improve efficiency by maintaining the proper ratio of armature current/field current. First, the condition of maximizing the efficiency was obtained, and then the real time control was implemented by using microprocessors. As a result, the efficiency was improved in spite of constant output. For example, the efficiency at 1/5 load was improved from 56.7% to 80%.

  • This paper presents a design strategy of Slotless type BLDC motor using the space harmonic field method. The distribution of Back emf and torque are considered by movement of the Permanent Magnet and armature current. The result of magnetic field distribution, back-emf, and torque are in agreement with FEM.

  • The LIM can be used as a transport system with wheel structure. The structural tolerance cause the airgap unbalance and that effects on the LIM performance. The effect of airgap unbalance on the motor performance such as thrust force, velocity and armature current are investigated by using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). From this numerical works, it is known that the airgap unbalance almost does not effect on the motor performance and LIM for transport system is robust to the structural tolerance.
