Effects of Kigong Theraphy in Cocentration of Catecholamines and Cortisol and some Tests on Testing-Stressed (기공외기요법(氣功外氣療法)의 항(抗) 스트레스 효과(效果) 연구(硏究))

  • To investigate anti-stress effects of Manual Kigong, Manual-Apparatus Combined Kikong, and Systemic Kigong, this experiments were performed changing of plasma catecholaminess and serum cortisol measured. Also using D.I.T.I(Digital Infrared Thermongraphy Imaging), Pulse Analyzer, Electric Current on Neurometer, and Digital Flicker on Testing-Stressed. And following results were abtained. 1) Menual-Appartus Combined Kikong decreased significantly increasing concentration of plasma epinephrine and norepinephrine level in Testing-stressed. 2) Manual Kigong decreased increasing concentration of serum cortisol level in Testing-stressed. 3) Manual Kigong and Manual-Aparatues Combined Kikong increased decreasing thermomerty on the palm's center caused Testing-stressed. 4) All of three treats are small change in SET(Systolic Ejection Time) by Pulse Analyzer caused Testing-stressed. 5) More changes of Electric Current on the Neurometer Diagnosis caused Testing-stressed are as followed. Manual-Apparatus Combined Kikong >Systemic Kigong >Manual Kigong From the results, it may be concluded that Manual-Apparatus Combined Kikong Theraphy having more anti-stress effects than Manual Theraphy. Systemic Kigong Therapy.

  • This paper introduces new impact apparatus using elastic strain energy for Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites [HPFRCC] which requires larger size of specimen and higher impact load and energy to fail the specimens. New impact apparatus utilize elastic strain energy to generate high rate impact stress wave and it is much smaller, cheaper and safer than current other impact devices.

  • Cause of noise/vibration for the sheet feeding apparatus of digital MFP is investigated by analyzing the measured sound pressure and the strategy for reducing the noise level is suggested. Factors related to the noise/vibration are found by loading test and the measurement of the noise by assembling the components. By checking the center distance between gears and the boss height, precision of assembly is identified as a main factor of noise. From the result of analysis, it can be concluded that the noise level of sheet feeding apparatus can be reduced by maintaining the distance between gears and the precision of assembly adequately.

  • VLM-ST process requires an additional human interaction due to the manual stacking and bonding. Hence, building time, building cost and the part quality are dependent on the skill of labor. In this present work, a novel rapid prototyping (RP) process, as an automatic VLM-ST (VLM-STA), has been proposed to improve building efficiency of VLM-ST process and reliability of products. The apparatus of VLM-STA is designed to embody the process. Several characteristics of the proposed process and the apparatus are discussed. In order to examine the efficiency and the applicability of the proposed process, various three-dimensional shapes, such as a piston and a human head shape, are fabricated on the apparatus.

  • In this study, the temperature gradient of a floating zone (FZ) apparatus, which is very difficult to directly measure, could be estimated by using the relationships between the lamellar spacing of directionally solidified TiAl alloys and the solidification rate, It was found that the calculated temperature gradient of the FZ apparatus was much higher, and almost ten times higher than that of a Bridgman type directional solidification apparatus.

  • The remaining life of generator stator winding has been the controversial issue amomg many experts in this area. The report from Japan claims that they can predict the remaining life of generator winding, while the North American has the negative opinion about it. This study aimed at verifying the validity of both Japanese criteria and North American argument on evaluation of generator winding insulation. Non destructive and destructive tests were performed on two hydro-generators. The test results showed that the trend analysis of stator winding insulation was the better option.

  • In a double-passage cascade apparatus, only two blades are installed in order to increase the accuracy of experimental result by applying bigger blade than the size of multi-blades on the same apparatus. However, this causes difficulties to make correct periodic condition. In this study, sidewalls are designed to meet periodic condition without removing the operating fluid or adjusting tail boards. Surface Mach number on the blade surface is applied to a responsible variable, and 12 design variables which are related with sidewall profile control are selected. A gradient based optimization is adopted for wall design and CFX-11 is used for the internal flow computation. The computed result shows that it could obtain the same flow structure by modifying only the sidewalls of the double-passage cascade apparatus.

  • In order to basic study of the oriental medical engineering, the Qigong infrasound treatment apparatus is analyzed. The results is followed : 1. SY-201 type Qigong Infrasound Treatment Apparatus is composed of oscillator, amp, transducer. 2. The Qi production process is analyzed that EM wave changed sound wave of superlow frequency number and penetrated the human body deeply.

  • In this study, position and force simultaneous trajectory tracking control system with pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus is proposed. The pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus that consists of two pneumatic cylinders constrained in series and two proportional flow control valves offers a considerable advantage as to non-interaction of the actuators because of the low stiffness of the pneumatic cylinders. The controller applied to the driving system is composed of a non-interaction controller to compensate for interaction of two cylinders and a disturbance observer to reduce the effect of model discrepancy of the driving system in the low frequency range that cannot be suppressed by the non-interaction controller. The experimental results with the proposed control system show that the interacting effects of two cylinders are eliminated remarkably and the proposed control system tracks the given position and force trajectories accurately.

  • ln this paper, the optimum design of electrical apparatus using design variable parametrization is presented. For analysis and design, the finite element method and the design sensitivity method is used, respectively. By applying the parametrization of the design variables, the obtained designed shape is continuous and smooth. For the parametrization the Bezier spline is used. The designed shape with parametrization is characterized by the control points. By delivering control points to the commercial CAD packages or NC machines, the exact designed shape can be realized in the manufacturing the electrical apparatus. The designed results with and without parametrization are compared and the validity of the parametrization is verified.
