  • As part of their marketing policy, some suppliers allow retailers a period of credit in anticipation of increasing demand for the products they supply. The opportunity to defer payments on products through credit transactions has the effect of reducing retailers' inventory investment costs, and as a result, retailers determine selling prices in anticipation of increased demand from buyers. This study aims to analyze the inventory model that determines the retailer's selling price and EOQ(Economic Order Quantity) under the assumption that the buyer's demand is an exponentially decreasing function of the retailer's selling price in the credit transaction supply chain consisting of suppliers, retailers, and buyers. The products supplied for problem analysis include the case of deteriorating products that deteriorate over time, and the effect of the credit transaction period, the index of price elasticity and the degree of deterioration on the retailer's selling price and EOQ is analyzed.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore mothers' adjustments in raising children with Down syndrome and to develop a grounded theory about their adjustments. Method: Three mothers from each group of children in the ages below 7 years, 8-13 years, 14-19 years, and over 20 years participated in the study. Data were collected through an in-depth interview from twelve participants having a child with Down syndrome. Then it was analyzed simultaneously using the grounded theory method. Results: 'Adjustment of mother's expectation according to child's status' was emerged as a core category. The adjustment process was categorized into five stages: shocking, embracing, doing one's best with passion, lowering anticipation, and accepting another living. Conclusion: Being the mother of a child with Down syndrome is not considered to be a negative experience. There are positive experiences along with some more negative ones. Nurses working with families that include children with Down syndrome need to be aware of the obstacles the families will face and should advise necessary support.

  • Prognosis is an anticipation of the probable response to periodontal therapy and a long-term prospect for maintaining a functional dentition. Hopeless cases or cases of simple gingivitis without systemic diseases generally have little problem to establish definite prognoses. However, it might become somewhat challenging to determine their prognoses in borderline cases. A risk factor for periodontal disease may be environmental, behavioral, or biologic factors that can be defined as an occurrence has been associated with destructive periodontitis. Some risk factors are modifiable, while others cannot be modified. Modifiable risk factors are environmental or behavioral in nature in contrast non-modifiable risk factors are usually intrinsic to the individual and therefore not easily changed. In this review, we will assess the various modifiable or non-modifiable risk factors for susceptibility 10 periodontal diseases.

  • Since Amazon announced plans to deliver goods to customers using drones, many countries and companies have become interested in drone logistics delivery services and have begun testing drone delivery for various goods based on service scenarios. Whenever there is news of a successful drone delivery anywhere in the world, people increasingly expect the delivery of goods through drones. Although delivery services using drones are currently in a trial-and-error stage, given technical limitations and institutional and social constraints, a complete shift to drone logistics delivery is not yet possible. In anticipation of the drone logistics delivery service, recent drone delivery tests, current service trends, and requirements for drone delivery service will be examined.

  • Atelectasis may be defined as collapse of the lung due to absence of air within the alveoli. It may involve anatomic segments, lobes, or whole lungs but also may be a diffuse miliary process, as in the adult respiratory distress syndrome. The key to treatment are the anticipation and prevention of atelectasis in various clinical situations, the recognition and treatment of underlying disease, and the prompt initiation of vigorous treatment once atelectasis is found. Repeated assessment by physical examination is necessary to determine the presence of atelectasis and its response to treatment. During the period of January, 1981 to October, 1990, 100 patients with atelectasis were treated in the department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Pusan National University Hospital. There were 70 males and 30 females ranging from 3 days to 79 years of age. The occurrence ratio of right to left side was 2.1 : 1. The underlying pathologic lesions of atelectasis were pneumonia with effusion(28), lung ca.(24), pulmonary tuberculosis(24), and chronic empyema(9), The treatment procedure for atelectasis were closed thoracostomy in 26 cases, ressection in 21 cases, therapeutic bronchoscopy in 14 cases and etc.

  • Web caches help to reduce latencies arising from slow networks through storing and reusing what was used before. Repeat access to a cached resource does not incur network latencies. However, resources that have never been used will not be found in the cache. Cache prefetching is a technique that helps to fill a cache with still-unused resources in anticipation that these resources will be used in the near future. Typically these unused resources are related to the resources that have been accessed in the recent past. While web caching exploits temporal locality, prefetching attempts to exploit spatial locality. Access to the prefetched resources will be cache hits, and therefore reduces the latency as perceived by the user. This paper reviews the cache infrastructure supported by the hypertext transfer protocol and discusses web cache prefetching in general, including Mozilla's prefetching infrastructure. It then classifies and reviews some prefetching techniques.

Measurement object is apartment occupancy ago of 100㎡ scale built to higher story in Taegu city. Floor Slav's light impact sound level interception performance interacted by benevolent person who carrying out availability of finish material important. Floor Slav's heavy impact sound level interception performance amounted estimation by being good more or less then light impact sound level interception performance. Because sound insulation performance of partition between adjoined generation is gad seldom, privacy infringement becomes anticipation. There was discussion about these results, and presented various kinds future research task to prove sound insulation performance of apartment house.

  • Dieulafoy lesions, vascular anomalies typically found along the gastrointestinal tract, have been viewed as rare and obscure causes of sudden intestinal bleeding, especially in pediatric patients. Since their discovery in the late 19th century, the reported incidence has increased. This is due to an increased awareness of, and knowledge about, their presentation and to advanced endoscopic diagnosis and therapy. Our patient was a three-year-old male, without a complex medical history. He presented to the emergency department with acute hematemesis with blood clots and acute anemia requiring blood transfusion. Endoscopy revealed four isolated Dieulafoy lesions along the lesser curvature of the stomach, which were treated with an epinephrine injection. The Dieulafoy lesion, although thought to be rare, should be considered when investigating an acute gastrointestinal bleed. These lesions have been successfully treated endoscopically. Appropriate anticipation and preparation for diagnosis and therapy can lead to optimal outcomes for the pediatric patient.
