This study attempts to investigate the personalized schemes of interface for the interactive TV sonics enhancing the satisfaction of users from the standpoints of the user and to suggest designing guidelines. In the preface, firstly, the purpose as well as structure of the study were described, the characteristics of the interactive TV and the personalization were defined. Also, it was attempted to understand the development directions of the basic media for services. In addition, the data and elements that became the ground for this study were arranged, including the elements for designing interface, the appraisal method of usability to evaluate the requirements of users, etc. Then, the interfaces of "SkyTouch", an interactive TV sonics by Skylife having the number of users reaching one million at the moment, that is the representative runner in the interactive TV, were analyzed. Then the needs central to the navigation structure and layout for the convenience of users through the evaluation of usability were examined and arranged. In addition, the designing directions of personalized interfaces were studied in the interactive TV by analyzing the web portal sites which were being carried out prior to the personalized services. Based on the data investigated and analyzed previously, the guidelines for the interface design for the personalization of the interactive TV were suggested by classifying the navigation structure and layout, and the personalized interface design was proposed according to the suggested guidelines by applying them directly to "SkyTouch" that is currently carrying out the interactive sonics although it provides limited services in an independent style.

In u-GIS environments, a geographic information service system for mobile phone is consumer(user) oriented service system based on existing GIS and LBS considering characteristic of mobile phone. In the past, development of a geographic information service system for mobile phone dependent on various hardware specification of mobile phones and mobile operators. From now on, the geographic information service system for mobile phone independents on hardware specification of mobile phones and mobile operators. Also, it changes from service oriented GIS provider(specialist) to service oriented consumer. For the satisfaction of this requirement, we propose a design of geographic information service system for mobile phone using FLEX for creates standard execution file. The standard execution file is able to apply various mobile phone. And we propose a management method of picture contents combination of location information that geographic information service system for mobile phone is provided it firstly. In this system, it provides facilities that display map, manage location, manage contents, manage mash-up, manage map data. And then it provide facility of swf generation for display result map on mobile phone. In this paper, we are implemented the proposed system and seen same results in various mobile phone. The created *.swf file provides same result at any time, anywhere, anyone in spite of different zoom level and different display screen.

Electronic commerce markets have been increasing rapidly, which has resulted in parallel growth in the door-to-door delivery service industry. The door-to-door delivery service industry is projected to be more competitive, due to the large amount of companies that are already established and the fact that several leading multinational logistics companies are rushing into the domestic market. This is a critical period for the companies which are attempting to obtain a competitive advantage. Previous research on door-to-door delivery services has been undertaken, in relation to strategic exploration, political proposals, and user satisfaction. However, there is a lack of practical studies focused on the information systems of door-to-door service companies and its decisive roles have been undertaken. This study aims to investigate, compare, and analyze the information systems of door-to-door delivery service companies. Also, the study proposes developmental direction of how the information systems should be improved. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, first, we examined previous research on door-to-door delivery services and their information systems. Second, we investigated and analyzed the information systems of four leading domestic companies by conducting interviews. Third, we compared and identified factors of the information systems that could be improved. Finally, we proposed its developmental direction. As a result of the study, the information systems of door-to-door delivery service companies required to provide classified services using diverse tools and develop the optimized routing model to reduce logistics costs.

The aim of this paper is to develop a performance evaluation model for PPP (Public-Private Partnership) projects that appropriately reflects the important traits that are unique to PPP projects. To this end, 1) it defines a set of distinct perspectives involved in the PPP projects and their associated success factors that might differ amongst the perspectives; 2) it identifies the key performance indicators and suggests the performance evaluation criteria for each indicator; and 3) it builds a performance evaluation model by matching the success factors from each perspective with performance measure criteria as well as applies the model to the two selected BTO road projects in Korea. The process of model construction and its application confirms significant differences between the main stakeholder perspectives typically involved in PPP projects, which highlights the need for an evaluation model tailored for PPP projects by taking into account the distinct perspectives. The results from the PPP evaluation model developed in the study is compared against the results from the existing ex-post evaluation model for construction projects in general. The former shows a closer match with the results from the user satisfaction survey conducted. This new evaluation framework and the performance indicators entailed in it permits a balanced evaluation of PPP projects as it takes into account different perspectives involved in PPP projects as well as an understanding of the factors affecting the success of PPP projects. While the construction of the model is based on transport projects, it is applicable to different types of PPP projects through variation with the weight allocation amongst different success factors and/or additions or other adjustments to the performance evaluation criteria as required.

This study was conducted to derive a priority of investment in educational facilities by collecting and analyzing investment records from elementary, middle, and high schools in Chung Nam area. In addition, the AHP survey and analysis were performed in order to draw the priority item in the educational facility improvement. Students, parents, teachers and a educational facility managers from those schools provided their opinions and data for the AHP study. As a result of the study, the actual investment-cost and a lack of educational facilities were found. A priority item based on the above study was derived which can be used to increase user's satisfaction in the educational facilities. The result of this study can be used as a basis to improve the environment of the educational facilities.

The music is a part of our daily life in these days. And when the people listen to the music, they are affected by the context. However, previous researches on the music recommendation system have the problem that they didn't consider the proper contextual information efficiently. They only used the content-based filtering or the method to use musical metadata (genre, artist, etc.). Recently, there are some researches about the music recommendation system which applies the status(temperature, humidity, etc.) of environments. But, it is difficult to be accepted by the contextual information. Therefore, we propose the music recommendation system that is dynamically applied by the contextual information as well as the metadata in the previous researches. And the system can provide users with the music that they want to listen to, and then the users can be more satisfied. Also, the services can be improved by the feedback of the users. In order to solve this problem, the context-information for selecting a music list is defined and the music recommendation system is designed by using the content-based filtering method. The system is suitable for the user's taste and the context. The music recommendation system we are proposing uses an OSGi framework in the home network. As a result, the satisfaction of users and the quality of services will be improved more efficiently by supporting the mobility of services as well as the distributed processing.

This study deals with Turbo-Roundabout of Special-Roundabouts. Recently, many rotary intersections are being constructed in Korea, but the effect of the rotary intersection depends on the total entrance traffic volume and the area of the paper. The purpose of this study is to analyze the operation and accident reduction effect of turning traffic signal intersection with small traffic volume into turbo - type turning intersection. The main results are as follows. First, when the traffic volume of the main road is high, the traffic volume of the subway is less than 10 ~ 15%, or when the left turn ratio is less than 30%, it is improved when switching to the turbo type turn intersection instead of the first turn type and second turn type turn intersection Was analyzed. Second, it is considered that turbo type rotary intersection is more effective than first - type rotary intersection, and it is more effective in increasing road capacity because the area of paper is smaller than that of second - order rotary intersection. Third, the number of traffic accidents decreased by 45.9% and the number of injured persons decreased by 76.5% after the conversion of the turnover type turnover to turbo type. 100%), the number of car accidents was 0.3, and the number of casualties was 0 (100%). Finally, the positive evaluation of the user satisfaction survey showed that the improvement in safety, accessibility, and convenience was improved by 60.4%, which was improved by 16.4% to 76.8% after the conversion to the turbo type turnover.

This study aims to explore social participation needs among the elderly in Korea from the perspective of the elderly participant's. 40 Q-samples are drawn from the Q-population including attitudes and needs toward social participation in later life based on news articles, essays, research, documentary, and television shows. 35 subjects are analysed by the QUANL program and the types of social participation needs are divided into four patterns which accounted for 60.16% of the total variance. The elderly's portrayal of an ideal social participation is about making independent decisions and being able to actively participate in the activities they chose to do. However, their most undesirable scenario would be being confused and uncertain of what they should do the remainder of their lives. The needs of social participation among the elderly varies on four indicators such as ego, social capital, life satisfaction, life vitality and these four indicators have two sub-categories with a total of 8 types of classification. These 8 types differ by priorities, adaptation to life changes, motivation to social participation, and desired activity. Findings suggest that researchers and policy makers need to consider service user perspective on social participation in later life, not service provider perspective.

The local bookstore direct loan service for users' requests in public libraries, which was launched in Gyeonggi Province, is a creative new service that has led to the revitalization of the local economy through the rise in sales of local bookstores and high user satisfaction. However, it is a service in which positive and negative reactions coexist as negative opinions are presented on the deterioration of the quality of public library books due to overlapping needs for desired books by users. Therefore, several ways of improving for local bookstore loan service in public libraries through a survey of public libraries, local bookstores, and users were suggested in this study. The local bookstore direct loan service for users' requests, which is a creative cooperation plan between public libraries and local bookstores, needs to constantly improve its services by increasing book purchase cost, organizing a steering committee for continuous communication and collecting plans through research on the book purchase cost. Also, it is necessary to improve its services by enacting regulations expanding reading culture services expanding the number of healthy users and fostering various local bookstores.

This study applied virtual reality systems for forest therapy to reduce motion sickness and enhance immersion using multi-sensory elements. In applying virtual reality systems, multi-sensory elements were utilized to reduce motion sickness while providing a more immersive experience. Among these elements, tactile and olfactory devices utilizing wind and scent were developed and employed. The program was developed using Unity3D's HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline), and both HMD (Head Mounted Display) and non-HMD systems were established to determine if visual motion induces motion sickness. An air circulator was placed to provide a sense of wind and allow users to smell scents through the olfactory device. An experiment was designed to examine whether tactile and olfactory stimuli influence user satisfaction with the virtual reality forest therapy system. The results showed that the tactile device significantly reduced motion sickness, while the developed olfactory device did not yield significant results in reducing motion sickness for participants.
