This study plans to classify the art museums in accordance with their spatial organization, analyzing their peculiarities each by its type in order to present the reference required for designing an art museums. With confidence, the analyzation as well as the results of the study contents will make worthy contribution for the future art museums. For this purpose, total of 95 art museums have been selected as the objects of analyzation. First of all, their types have been categorized in accordance with the standard of scale and architectural planning. Out of them, 33 museums have been further selected in order to see how the peculiarities of their patterns are outstanding, and then a quantitative analyzation has been made on each of them to see its space structure by utilizing 'Space Syntax'. Finally, a correlation analyzation of space structure peculiarities has been conducted and the spatial organization peculiarities per type is comprehensively arranged in accordance with the architectural planning and Space Syntax in order to present a new spatial organization per space to be used for the basic planning of the art museum. The contents of this analytical study are summarized as follows: A correlation analyzation on the typological features in terms of architectural planning and on the spatial organization features in terms of the Space Syntax has presented four new types of museum spaces: (1) Radial type, (2) Arachnoid-radial type, (3) Linear type, and (4) Grid type, in the light of which the selected 95 art museums have further been analyzed in order for their features to be reclassified.

The purpose of this study is to provide the guideline of the outdoor space of residential land development district for children's outdoor activites. This study was accomplished by the valuation of the physical environment of 5 residential land development districts, the analyzation of behavioral mapping about children's outdoor activities, and the analyzation of satisfaction and the consciousness of 190 residents(parents) & 230 children. Especially, outdoor spaces were divided into 6 parts (play space, education facility, commercial facility, green space, and empty space & parking lot). And than, 6 outdoor spaces were valuated about the physical characters such as accessibility, network, safety, variety, functional, natural elements. Also, the survey for residents and children's consciousness were used the Likert scale. According to the result of this study, many parts of the housing area were not good for children's activities, and resident's satisfaction was low. In the sample areas, negative factors were car and motorcycle. And many residents were pointed out the lack of natural elements, variety, and safety of outdoor space in dwelling area. Finally, this study suggested the guideline children's activities based on the result of analyzation of valuation, behavioral mapping, and survey.

This study is based on Tim burton's 'The nightmare before christmas' and analyzation was made to see how he used lights and to understand his unique color visual story telling style. The analyzation revealed that Tim burton used second class hollywood movies of $1930{\sim}60's$ and classical lighting style. He used this lighting style in 'The nightmare before christmas' as a really strong visual structure which substantially attributed to maintains it's fantastic mood consistently.

The purpose of this study is to make a comparative analyzation toward abstracted emotional properties appeared in the museum exhibition spaces designed by the three masters of the modern architecture;Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe. In addition, this study will also aim to inquire into how the emotional properties have affected the third generation architects. It is especially expected that the 'emotional tendency' emerging in various fields of the present time can serve as useful information through the analysis of emotional design properties appeared in the exhibition space which is directly linked with the human lives. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, in New York by Wright, in Tokyo by Le Corbusier and in Berlin by Mies Van der Rohe were selected. As for the analyzation methodology to be adopted for deriving the aiming points at the emotional design, five criteria of analyzation have been established in order to understand the properties of the emotional area: they are (1) spatial affordance, (2) human congeniality, (3) emotional factors of the area, (4) constitution of the area and (5) expressive division of the area. Using these criteria, this study will reveal what are some of the emotional characteristics shown in each museums and its analytical result will be useful to apply to future museum design. It is especially expected that the 'emotional tendency' emerging in various fields of the present time can serve as useful information through the analysis of emotional design properties appeared in the exhibition space of design which is directly linked with the human behavior.

The purpose of this study is analyzation of the clothing symbolism on the words of a popular music. The result shows that clothing symbolism on the popular music has a strong relationship with the periodic background. And also that represented the importance of the clothing as a symbol.

The purpose of this thesis is to make clear of the evaluation structure of sensibility by the colored plastic's roughness through the vision. I presented these samples to the testee, collected. surveys and analyzed. As a result of analyzation of relationship between the sensibility and the physical features, the key figures of sensibility analyzation by the roughness of the plastic can be displayed with three axis. Also, these results are showing the differences of the sensibilities for the five-presented colored samples and roughness. These results are expected to be utilized as the basic research material for the surface design sensibility evaluation by roughness and color before the surface treatment of plastics or other materials.

The purpose of this study is to provide the planning device of outdoor environment of housing area for children. This study was accomplished the analyzation of opinion and preference of 230 children, elementary school students in Daegu. The contents of survey included the general items of children, the characteristics of outdoor activities, and the opinion & preference about outdoor space of housing area. And the survey of children's preference was used the 5 Likert scale. The conclusion of this study are as follows : First, generally, the design guidelines of housing area were provided to adult user, but the guidelines for children are limited at play space and park. So, the design guidelines of housing area must be provided by the children's opinion, pointment, and dissatisfaction. Second, children have the definite opinion and can point the preference about the outdoor space of housing area. So, children's opinion can not be bypassed in the process for planning of housing area. Third, children prefer the outdoor space that was furnished the facilities for convenience of the children's outdoor activities. So, exiting guideline of the outdoor space of housing area must improve to children.

A system design and realization for video surveillance with interframe probability distribution analyzation is presented in this paper. The system design is based on a high performance DSP professor, video surveillance is implemented by analyzing interframe probability distribution using trivariate normal distribution(weight, mean, variance) for scanning objects in a restricted area and the video analysis algorithm is decided for forming a different image from the probability distribution of several frame compressed by the standardized JPEG. The system processing time of D1$(720{\times}480)$ image per frame is 85ms and enables to process the system at 12 frames per second. An object surveillance about the restricted area by rules is extracted to 100% unless object is moved faster.

The focus of this paper is to implement of virtual plant using module concept for the dynamic simulation of drum type boiler and to simulate the control trends of dynamic characteristics. MAtlab & Simulink is used for implement virtual plant & analyzation the dynamics & control trends. They are available for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of drum type Boiler by means of applying well measured data to virtual plant.
