예비 영어교사 주도에 의한 영미시 평가표 제작 및 평가 수행에 관한 연구 (Engaging pre-service English teachers in the rubric development and the evaluation of a creative English poetry)

  • This study explored pre-service English teachers' participation in the development of a rubric and examined evaluation of their own English poetry. The current study would investigate: 1) the pre-service English teachers' perception as a rubric developer and self-evaluator, 2) the number of analytic area that the participants included in their rubrics and the scoring scheme that they designed in their rubrics, and 3) the inter-rater differences between self-assessemnt and expert-assessment across analytic areas. Twenty-four EFL learners participated in the current study. The researchers analyzed the learners' own English poetry, their field notes which contained the process of their writing, their rubrics, scores of self-assessment, and expert raters' scores. The results revealed that learners showed positive responses on learner-directed assessment, that 'content' is the most important area, and that inter-rater difference is small across all analytic areas.

도농교류 접근성을 고려한 농촌마을 공동시설의 입지평가모델 개발 (Developing Location-Evaluation Model on Community Facilities in Rural Villages Considering Accessibility for Urban-Rural Exchange)

  • Although the frequency of use for community facilities in rural villages is growing as well as the importance of the facilities for urban-rural exchange is being highlighted, study on spatial location-analysis of the facilities for such multi-purpose is not so much. This study aims to find the spatial distribution forms of community facilities in rural villages such as community center and rural-pocket park through location-analysis, in order to provide available data for selecting location in the future. As the study area, Sojeong-myeon, Sejong Special City was selected. This study conducted GIS analysis for criteria of the location-evaluation model developed in this study. This study introduced the concept of time-distance for accessibility analysis. This paper also used linear-consecutive scoring method(LCSM) as a scoring method of criteria and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method for weighting values of criteria. The application results showed that the new model can generate the intensity of community facilities according to spatial distribution and accessibility from cities to the facilities.

  • From the mid-1990s in Korea, performance assessment has been continuously emphasized in school mathematics and thus many researchers and teachers have been steadily studying this topic. But the concepts relevant to performance assessment and its purposes are very confusing because the mathematics educators' different views and voices are vary. As a result most mathematics teachers experience trouble in executing performance assessment properly and effectively in their math class. This unability for proper execution of performance assessment was once again revealed in this study which dealt with 15 articles on performance assessment. These 15 articles includes almost every article written on the topic of performance assessment that have been published in 4 domestic journals since December 1997. By examining this inability, it is required that its concepts and purposes should be organized with a common view and newly defined in the near future. Development of Mathematical Task Analytic Framework: Proactive and Reactive Features

  • A large body of previous studies investigated mathematical tasks by analyzing the design process prior to lessons or textbooks. While researchers have revealed the significant roles of mathematical tasks within written curricular, there has been a call for studies about how mathematical tasks are implemented or what is experienced and learned by students as enacted curriculum. This article proposes a mathematical task analytic framework based on a holistic definition of tasks encompassing both written tasks and the process of task enactment. We synthesized the features of the mathematical tasks and developed a task analytic framework with multiple dimensions: breadth, depth, bridging, openness, and interaction. We also applied the scoring rubric to analyze three multiplication tasks to illustrate the framework by its five dimensions. We illustrate how a series of tasks are analyzed through the framework when students are engaged in multiplicative thinking. The framework can provide important information about the qualities of planned tasks for mathematics instruction (proactive) and the qualities of implemented tasks during instruction (reactive). This framework will be beneficial for curriculum designers to design rich tasks with more careful consideration of how each feature of the tasks would be attained and for teachers to transform mathematical tasks with the provision of meaningful learning activities into implementation.

조선 노후설비교체 타당성 분석을 위한 의사결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Decision Making for Evaluating the Outworn Facility Replacement in Shipbuilding)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate and to develop a decision support system for supporting the outworn facility replacement analysis in shipbuilding. This paper also provides an information system which can be effectively applied to various criteria in decision making. The modelbase of decision support system uses the concepts of the analytic hierarchy process along with an appropriate scoring methods. The AHP represents an improvement over other well-known scoring approaches since the criteria weights of priorities established by the AHP are not based on arbitrary scales, but use a ratio scale for human judgements. The proposed methodology in this research enables the decision maker to evaluate the investment alternatives based on qualitative data and quantitative data in a systematic way.

A comparison of the traditional scoring system with the efficiency measuring system for evaluating the TQM activities

  • In this paper, we analyzed two methodologies to evaluate the total quality management activities comparatively. One of them is the traditional scoring system (TSS) by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the other is the efficiency measuring system (EMS) by data envelop analysis (DEA). It is demonstrated that the index by TSS and the efficiency index by EMS are not correlated. Also, the efficiency index by EMS in terms of company characteristics such as the size of company and ISO certifications is different from the index by TSS. The result implies that to evaluate the quality activities by EMS is needed as a supplementary methodology.

  • The aim of this paper is to show the process of R&D Project-Priority Ordering in the Defense Technology field. We propose specific methods (Delphi, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Scoring) to order the R&D Project-Priority. In general, to decide the priority of R&D projects most of researches depend on questionnaires which are surveyed by experts. However, it is criticized that this process cannot reflect the limitation of experience and knowledge of experts. In this process, we separate evaluators in two parts: the first is strategic experts, the second is technical experts. Evaluators can choose and evaluate the alternatives which they are familiar with, so we can obtain reliable results. Finally, based on our process of the R&D Project-Priority Ordering we formulate policy implications for managing the defense technology.

  • This study aims to develop the methodology based on the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) of evaluation for commercial paper. commercial paper is the ma product of merchant banks. commercial paper evaluation is annually performed by the credit-evaluation agency. Credit evaluation is performed by the informal judgemental system, which has potential to induce serious inconsistencies in decision-making. We present an objective scoring model which does not suffer from the weakness of the subjective judgement system. The model used is illustrated by analyzing the commercial paper evaluation for the 3 motor-companies(H, K and S motors).

  • Weapon system currently considers the research about effect analysis including cost effectiveness methodology for a budget management and an achievement of the military strategy goal. So that, this study considers the theoretical background, strength and weakness of several Multi-Criteria Decision Making, and an effect analysis of weapon system. And AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) is selected for the best effect analysis methodology of weapon system. Therefore, we applied AHP to the case study of the new generation Multiple Launcher Rocket System, performing the analysis of cost effectiveness methodology. Using AHP and cost effectiveness methodology, we propose the actual and proper decision making result.

  • 본 연구에서는 기후변화에 따른 온실가스 감축을 위해 추진되고 있는 이산화탄소 저감 및 처리기술개발의 성과제고를 위해 개발기술들을 대상으로 기술개발 동향 및 향후 발생될 여러 가지 영향요인(impact factor)을 발굴하여 분석하였다. 이를 위해 평점법(Scoring Models Method, SMM)과 분석적계층과정(Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP)을 이용하여 $CO_2$저감 및 처리기술에 대한 분석을 수행하였으며 평가요인별 중요도의 계량적 제시와 함께 각각의 기술들에 대한 평가요인별 우선순위를 제시하였다.
