SW 교육 뉴스데이터의 감성분석 (Sentimental Analysis of SW Education News Data)

  • 스마트폰의 대중화로 SNS를 통해 유통되는 정보의 내용과 감성을 분석하는 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 SW 교육에 관한 온라인 뉴스데이터를 수집하여 형태소 분석후 단어를 추출하고 뉴스데이터의 감성지수를 산출하여 수집된 뉴스 데이터의 감성분석을 실시하였다. 또한, 산출된 감성점수가 어느 정도 정확한지 정확도를 검토하였다. 분석 결과 수집기간동안 SW 교육 관련 뉴스는 월평균 약 189건 발생되었으며, 감성점수 평균은 0.7로 SW 교육 관련 뉴스는 긍정적임을 알 수 있었다. SW 교육의 중요성 및 정책 실행에는 공감하며 긍정적이었으나 구체적인 실행 방법에는 부정적인 시각이 있었다. 즉, SW 교육환경 및 교육방법 부족 문제, SW 개발자 양성 및 처우개선 문제, 코딩 사교육 증가 문제 등이었다.

토픽 모델링을 활용한 국내 초등 정보교육 연구동향 분석 (Analysis of Research Trends in Elementary Information Education in Korea using Topic Modeling)

  • 초등학생을 대상으로 인공지능교육에 대한 관심이 증대되면서 기존에 수행된 초등 정보교육 연구를 거시적인 관점에서 분석하여 현재의 상황을 이해하고 후속연구의 시사점을 제공하기 위한 노력이 필요한 시점이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 초등 정보교육의 연구동향을 조망하고자 하는 목적으로 정보교육학회논문지를 분석하였다. 분석을 위한 데이터는 정보교육학회논문지의 창간호에서 2020년까지 출간된 논문을 모두 선정하였고, 토픽모델링하여 연구주제 11개를 도출하였다. 연구결과, 가장 높은 비중인 토픽 T1은 약 38%을 차지하는 것으로 분석되었고, 토픽 T1에 기여도 순에 따라 교육, 연구, 분석, 초등, 정보의 키워드가 도출었다. 토픽들의 연도별 회귀분석 결과, 연구의 트랜드가 컴퓨팅사고력, 소프트웨어교육, 인공지능교육 등으로 변화하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 초등 정보교육과 관련된 텍스트 데이터를 객관적으로 클러스터링하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다고 할 수 있다.

과학교육에서의 상황 관련 연구에 대한 개관과 분석 (Review and Analysis of the Studies on Contexts in Science Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to review the studies related to the problem of context in science education. Firstly, studies on context and context effects in science education (and also those related in cognitive psychology) were summarized according to the topics concerning science learning, such as deductive reasoning and probabilistic judgement, controlling variables, scientific inquiry skills, memory and consistency of misconceptions, selecting cognitive strategies and problem solving, achievement and momentum effect, and interest, religion and culture. Secondly, the common problems appeared from the analysis of the studies were discussed, such as (1) how to define contexts?, (2) how to classify contexts?, (3) how to characterize the effects of contexts? and (4) how to explain the context effects? Finally, the implications of the analysis of the studies on the problem of context were discussed in terms of recent development of science education, such as misconception studies, STS science education and the application of the history of science to science teaching.

Analysis of Students' Use of Metaphor: The Case of a RME-Based Differential Equations Course

  • This research applies the discursive approach to investigate the social transformation of students' conceptual model of differential equations. The analysis focuses on the students' use of metaphor in class in order to find kinds of metaphor used, their characteristics, and a pattern in the use of metaphor. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the students' conceptual model of differential equations gradually becomes transformed with respect to the historical and cultural structure of the communal practice of mathematics. The findings suggest that through participating in the daily practice of mathematics as a historical and cultural product, a learner becomes socially transformed to a certain kind of a cultural being with historicity. This implies that mathematics education is concerned with the formation of historical and cultural identity at a fundamental level.

온라인과 오프라인 과외교육의 비용-효과 분석 (Cost-Effectiveness Analysis on On-line and Off-line Extra Curricula Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the cost-effectiveness analysis on on-line and off-line extra-curricula education(ECE). Based on a review of relevant literature, on-line ECE is defined as internet based learning, and off-line ECE is defined as on-site learning out of school such as private cram schools and private tutoring. The results of this study are as follows: First, sixty nine percent of the subjects were received ECE. Off-line ECE is more dominant than on-line ECE. Second, cost for off-line ECE is more expensive than on-line ECE. Third, off-line ECE is more effective than on-line ECE, when cost is ignored. Fourth, on-line ECE is more cost-effective than off-line ECE.

고등학교 기술·가정 교과서의 진로교육단원 내용분석 (Analysis of the Contents of the Career Education Unit in Technology and Home Economics Textbook)

  • The aim of this study is to conduct an evaluation review of the contents of the career education unit in textbooks on technology and home economics for senior high school freshmen. This study adopted the "Objective & System of Career Education" established by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training as the criterion for evaluating the content of career education, and targeted the unit, "Design of Vocation & Careers", which was included in six different textbooks on technology and home economics for senior high school freshmen involving five different publishers. The unit of "Design of Vocation & Careers" was mostly written in three subunits. An analysis of the textbooks by different, publisher showed that every aspect of the "Objective & System of Career Education" was appropriately covered in the unit. This was achieved by means of the elements of contents and illustrations.

Students' Perspectives (Stream-Wise) of Parameters Affecting Education Quality in an Affiliated Undergraduate Engineering Institution

  • Purpose - This study examines students' perspectives (stream-wise) of parameters affecting education quality in an affiliated undergraduate engineering institution in NCR, Haryana. Research design, data, and methodology - This study involves descriptive research and data collection using a structured questionnaire based on the Likert scale. The sample comprises 500 student respondents. For data analysis, an f-test was performed using high quality SPSS software. Results - For "Selection" and "Personality Development & Industry Exposure," the analysis of variance revealed a statistical difference between the mean values of the groups. Whereas, for "Academic Excellence," "Infrastructure," "Placements," and "Management & Administration," the analysis of variance revealed no statistical difference between the mean values of the groups. Conclusions - Students' perceptions about the "Selection" and "Personality Development & Industry Exposure" change according to the various specializations they opt for in their undergraduate engineering education in Haryana. Whereas, for "Academic Excellence," "Infrastructure," "Placements," and "Management & Administration," the perceptions of the students do not vary because of the different specializations they have opted for in their undergraduate engineering education.

치과기공사의 보수교육 만족도에 관한 연구 (A study on the satisfaction of continuing education of dental technicians)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data that can help the development and implementation of effective and satisfactory programs. Methods: This study was used for the analysis of 699 dental technicians attending the general conference of Korean dental technicians in 2017. Statistical analysis, t-test and ANOVA were used for the analysis. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 24.0. Results: Satisfaction with the number of lectures in continuing education was 2.54, and satisfaction with composition of major field was 2.72. Satisfaction with the content of the lecture was 3.04. The instructor level was 2.91, and the overall satisfaction was 2.92. Satisfaction with continuing education was 2.83. Conclusion : In order to increase the satisfaction of dental technicians, we expect to have various practical and systematic education such as diversification of education methods, quality level management, online continuing education.

시뮬레이션 기반 교육 효과에 대한 메타분석 - 국내 간호사와 간호대학생을 중심으로 - (A Meta-analysis of the Effect of Simulation Based Education - Korean Nurses and Nursing Students -)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects size of simulation education targeting korean nurses and nursing students. Methods: Meta-analysis was conducted with 48 papers in domestic master and doctorate degree dissertations and academic journals from 2000 to 2014. Results: The entire effect size in simulation education was relevant to big effect size. Regarding the effect size of individual variables, nurse was identified to have biggest effect size in study subject, standardized patient was identified to have biggest effect size in simulation methods and pediatric nursing was identified to have biggest effect size in study subjects. Effect size in each effect variable was highest in psychomotor domain. Conclusion: This study identified the effect size of simulation education and provided the basic data to contribute to the quality improvement of simulation education which is based on the reasons.

  • 사회 각 분야에서 관련 주제에 대한 보다 직접적인 정보를 수집하고 분석하기 위하여 빅데이터 분석이 활발하게 활용되고 있다. 우리나라에서 사회적 관심과 파급 효과가 큰 교육 분야에서도 빅데이터 분석 기술을 활용하여 교육이나 정책의 효과를 파악하고 정책 수립에 활용하는 것에 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 교육 분야에서 빅데이터 분석 기술을 활용하는 방안을 소개하고자 한다. 현재 핵심 교육정책 중의 하나인 자유학기제에 초점을 두고, 각 학교가 작성한 운영계획서에 대해 텍스트 분석과 시각화를 통하여 주요 관심 사항과 차이점에 대해 살펴보았다. 특히 서울과 강원도 지역의 중학교 자유학기제 운영계획서를 대상으로 지역적으로 주요 특성과 관심 사항이 서로 다르다는 것을 비교하였다. 본 연구는 빅데이터 분석 기술을 교육 분야의 필요와 요구에 따라 적용하고 활용하였다는 것에 큰 의의가 있다.
