다구찌 법을 이용한 에어컨용 회전압축기 공명기에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Analysis Using Taguchi Method on the Resonator in the Rotary Compressor for Air Conditioner)

  • This paper introduces the experimental analysis of the resonator in the rolling piston type compressor for air conditioner. The resonator located between cylinder and hearing is a major factor in the noise reduction of the rotary compressor. Several shapes for the resonator which can be built in the space limitations are derived. Then optimal resonator type for the noise reduction is determined by noise tests. 6 design parameters of the type are found and optimal level for each design factor is deduced from Taguchi method.

  • Acoustic noises generated during motor operation in mechanical system are from electromagnetic, mechanical, aerodynamic, and electrical sources. For identification of mechanical noise origins, misalignment, unbalance, fan shape, resonance, and vibration modes have been extensively considered to describe noise behavior. An experiment-based approach as well as a mathematical approach needs to be adopted for a realistic study into noise and vibration of the motor, because motor noise characteristics differ from type to type due to various noise sources. In this paper, a brushless DC motor for air-conditioner fan is analyzed by finite element method to identify noise source, and the analysis results are verified by experiments, and sensitivity analysis is performed by design of experiments.

  • In this paper, the identification of connections for a vibration system has been presented using FRF-based substructural sensitivity analysis. The substructural design sensitivity formula is derived and plugged into a commercial optimization program, MATLAB, to identify connection stiffness of an air-conditioner system of passenger car. The air-conditioner system, composed of a compressor and a bracket is analyzed by using FRF-based substructural(FBS) method. To obtain the FRFs, FE model is built for the bracket, and the impact hammer test is performed for the compressor. Obtained FRFs are combined to calculate the reaction force at the connection point and the system response. Connection element properties are determined by minimizing the difference between a target FRF and calculated one. It is shown that the proposed identification method is effective even for a real problem.

This paper analyzes noise characteristics of a brushless DC motor for air-conditioner fan, and proves that the test motor noise originates from acoustic modes of airspace in the motor. The motor noise sensitivity analysis by design of experiments reveals that the noise characteristics are closely related to switching frequency and frame thickness.

  • Internal and external defects of an inner pulley for automobile air conditioner are investigated in this study. Inner pulley is a part of compressor clutch assembly of automobile air conditioner. In cold forging of inner pulley, the design requirement are to keep the same height of the inner rib and outer one and to make uniform distribution of hardness in the forged product. At the end of the forging of inner pulley, the piping defect as an external defect begins to form at the back center of the billet. The internal crack as an internal defect also occur at the adiabatic shear band which usually has maximum ductile fracture value. It is important to predict when the internal and external defects occur during the deformation process, in order to minimize the amount of discard that is generated. The finite element simulations are applied to analyze the defects. The validity of the computational results are examined by experiments. These computational results are in good agreement with the experimental ones.

  • 이 논문은 역률제어회로를 갖는 인버터 구동 에어컨에 관해 설명한다. 정류기에 역률제어회로를 적용함에 의해서 전원선으로의 고조파 삽입을 줄일 수 있고, 효율을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 기존의 인버터와 비교해서 전체 시스템 가격을 낮출 수 있다. 또한, 역률제어회로의 출력전압을 안정화함에 의해서 시스템 성능을 향상시킨다. 본 논문에서는 역률제어회로의 자세한 설계절차를 제시하고, 역률제어회로의 여러 가지 장점을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해서 확인하였다.

  • This paper describes a precise temperature control method for refrigerating and air conditioning systems. The control technique is based on the optimal servo control design method and the control algorithm is implemented on a personal computer. To control the precise temperature, two actuators such as an inverter for the compressor speed control and a stepping motor for regulating the expansion valve are used. The superheat and evaporator temperatures are chosen as the system output. So a multivariable system which has two inputs and two outputs to be controlled. The complicative model is identified by using an ARX(Auto Regressive eXogenous) model and the controller is designed by using the Matlab software.

  • This paper studies the designing method and application for grommets, rubber material used to absorb vibration on the air conditioner compressor. The existing grommet with hardness 40 degrees, EPDM, has the high transmissibility on the compressor that causes additional structure born sound. The problem for EPDM is transformation over long time usage possibly due to its design in which stress is concentrated on a certain position. In order to resolve it, silicon material was previously used with the same design in some models. The vibration performance did improve, but the cost became high. Below are the major developments regarding improvements in compressor rubber material, vibration performance and durability through design change, and new grommet to attain cost reduction. 1 The optimum grommet design for stress even distribution through FEM methods. 2. Comparison for grommet material and design for improved transmissibility. 3. Assess for grommets durability and product applications.

  • Generally, the chassis of an indoor RAC is composed of a rear-guider and a stabilizer. The aerodynamic performance of a cross-flow fan is strongly influenced by the various design factors of the chassis of an indoor RAC. The purpose of this paper is to select the optimum design factors through the aerodynamic performance of a cross-flow fan. The design factors are the leading angle of a rear-guider (${\theta}_1$), a stabilizer setup angle(${\theta}_2$), a rear-guider clearance(${\epsilon}_1$), and a stabilizer clearance(${\epsilon}_2$), respectively. As a result, the optimum design factors of an indoor RAC can be presented as a combination of ${\theta}_1=33^{\circ}$, ${\theta}_2=55^{\circ}$, ${\epsilon}_1=6{\sim}8mm$, and ${\epsilon}_2=7mm$ through the analysis of a static pressure coefficient and a static pressure efficiency.

  • The aerodynamic performance of a cross-flow fan is strongly influenced by the various design factors of a rear-guider and a stabilizer. The design factors considered in this paper are a rear-guider clearance, a stabilizer clearance, and a stabilizer setup angle, respectively. Also, these factors are given to the various diameter ratio between a basic circle and a impeller. The static pressure and the flowrate of a cross-flow fan were measured with a fan-tester. It could be found that the useful design factors with a good aerodynamic performance exist in the certain assembly conditions of an indoor RAC. Therefore, it could be known that a new published patent determining the easy design of an indoor RAC can be applied in a variety of goods.
