절삭유 취급 근로자의 피부질환에 관한 연구 (A study on dermatologic diseases of workers exposed to cutting oil)

  • 절삭유의 사용과 피부질환의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 한 자동차공장의 엔진 및 구동부서 근로자 1,004명을 대상으로 피부 이상 증세에 대한 기초설문조사를 실시하여 응답을 해준 근로자 667명을 대상으로 분석 및 피부과적 검진을 실시하였다. 또한 절삭유의 노출 정도를 알기 위한 방법으로 공기 중 오일 미스트를 측정하였다. 이 조사의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 공기 중 오일미스트는 3개 부서로 나누어서 측정 하였는데, 전체 52건의 측정건수 중에서 8시간가중 평균 기준치인 $5mg/m^3$을 넘는 건수는 9건(17.3%)이었고, 로그정규분포상에서 95% 신뢰한계의 전체 상한치는 기준치 미만이었다. 2. 조사한 부서는 엔진가공부(258명), 가솔린 엔진조립부(210명), 디젤엔진조립부(96명), 구동부 가공반(86명), 구동부 조립반(17명)의 5개 부서였으며, 조사한 667명의 평균 나이는 34.5세였고, 근무연수의 중앙값은 7년 7개월이었다. 3. 이들 부서 중 엔진가공부와 구동부 가공반(A군)은 절삭유를 공정상 많이 사용하는 부서로 근로자 344명 중 298명 (86.6%)이 한 가지 이상의 절삭유를 사용하고 있는 반면, 가솔린엔진 조립부, 디젤엔진 조립부, 구동부 조립반의 근로자 323명(B군) 중에는 31명 (9.1%)만이 절삭유를 사용하고 있었다. 4. 피부 이상 증세의 경험자 227명 중 213명에 대하여 피부과전문의의 진찰을 시행하였는데, 이중에 172명이 검진당시 증세를 호소했는데, 1인당 평균 호소증세 건수가 1.5건 정도였다. 가장 많은 증세는 가려움증(32.5%), 구진(21.6%), 인설(15.7%), 소수포(12.5%), 반점(9.4%)의 순서였다. 5. 검진을 받은 근로자 231명 중 정상소견이나 뚜렷한 병변이 없는 사람으로 분류된 경우는 53명이었고, 나머지 160명에서 피부과적 질환이 발견되었다. 가장 많은 것은 접촉 피부염으로 전체 질환자 중 92명 (57.5%)을 차지하였고, 이들 중에는 여드름이나 낭포염 등 기타 다른 피부질환을 동반한 경우가 23명 (25%) 이었다. 기타 낭포염, 여드름만 있는 경우도 각각 9명(5.6%), 8명(5.0%)이었으며 , 각질화와 색소 이상도 1명 씩 발견되었다. 기타의 수부 습진은 비특이성 수부습진으로 분류되었는데 이들은 47명이었다. 6.피부질환이 있다고 진단받은 160명에서 발견된 피부과적 이상부위는 1인당 1.3부위였다. 이상이 발견된 부위는 손바닥(27.6%), 손가락과 손톱(22.7%), 상박부(16.0%), 손등(11.8%), 손가락 사이(10.3%)의 순이었고, 이들 수부 및 상박부위의 이상이 전체 이상의 약 88.7%였다. 7. 전체 피부질환의 유병상태는 각 부서별로 차이가 많았는데, 특히 접촉 피부염의 경우 엔진가공부는 1,000명당 213명, 가솔린엔진 조립부는 1,000명당 29명, 디젤엔진 조립부는 1,000명당 73명이었고, 구동부 가공반은 1,000명당 267명, 구동부 조립반은 1,000명당 59명으로 부서별로 차이가 매우 켰다. 이러한 경향은 절삭유 사용에 따라서 특히 수용성 절삭유만 사용하는 군과 두 종류의 절삭유를 모두 사용하는 근로자에서 마찬가지로 높게 관찰되었다. 8. 감별진단이 필요하다고 판단된 접촉 피부염 환자 49명은 첩포 검사를 시행하였다. 첩포 검사 결과, 기본 표준시료에 양성이 나타난사람이 12명, 기본표준시료와 오일시료에 모두 양성이 나타난 사람 3명, 그리고 오일 시료에만 양성이 나타난 사람 3명이 있었고, 기본 표준시료와 유기용제시료에 양성이 나타난 사람, 유기용제 시료에만 양성이 나타난 사람이 각각 1명 있었다. 9. 전체 피부질환의 유무에 대하여, 근로자의 나이와 근무기간의 영향을 통제한 후 근로자들이 사용하는 절삭유의 종류에 따른 위험도를 알아보기 위하여 다변량 분석을 하였다. 분석결과 절삭유를 전혀 사용하지 않는 군과 비수용성 절삭유만을 사용하는 군과는 유의한 차이가 없었으며 수용성 절삭유만 사용하는 사람은 $1.4\sim3.3$배(교차비의 95%신뢰한계), 두 종류의 절삭유를 모두 사용하는 사람은 $1.9\sim4.1$배 정도로 위험도가 높았다. 10. 알레르기성 접촉 피부염을 종속변수로 같은 분석을 했을 때도 결과는 같았으나, 수용성 절삭유만 사용하는 군이 $2.7\sim9.7$배, 두 종류를 모두 사용하는 군에서는 $3.7\sim12.6$배 정도로 위험도가 증가한 것을 관찰할 수 있었다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. The maximum adsorbed amount was obtained in the neighborhood of pH 4.5. Isoelectric point of bovine albumin is pH 5.0, so experimental result shows that it shifted to acid area. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The frame and leaflet of the polymer valve were made from polyurethane, To evaluate the hemodynamic performance of the polymer valve a comparative study of flow dynamics past a polymer valve and a St. Jude Medical prosthetic valve under physiological pulsatile flow conditions in vitro was made. Comparisons between the valves were made on the transvalvular pressure drop, regurgitation volume and maximum valve opening area. The polymer valve showed smaller regurgitation volume and transvalvular pressure drop compared to the mechanical valve at higher heart rate. The results showed that the functional characteristics of the polymer valve compared favorably with those of the mechanical valve at higher heart rate. 30621 T00401030621 ^x Explosive evaporative removal process of biological tissue by absorption of a CW laser has been simulated by using gelatin and a multimode Nd:YAG laser. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. We propose a new image reconstruction method using internal current density data measured by NMR. We obtained a two-dimensional current density distribution within a phantom by processing the real and imaginary MR images from a 4.77 NMR machine. We implemented a resistivity mage reconstruction algorithm using the finite element method and sensitivity matrix. By using the proposed region segmentation algorithm, the cells were segmented into nucleus. The 16 feature parameters were used to calculate the features of each nucleus. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. The procedure has the following three distinct stages. First, the initial center is estimated by the initial center estimation algorithm which is applied to decimated image. Second, the center estimation algorithm is applied to original image and then best-fit elliptic model estimation is processed. Third, best-fit boundary is detected by the cost function which is based on the best-fit elliptic model. We use combination of MLP and fuzzy filter for pattern recognition to estimate the direction of a muscle and Hogan's method for the force estimation. EMG signals are acquired by using a amputation simulator and 2 dimensional joystick motion. The bedside monitor consists of a main unit and module cases with various parameter modules. The main unit includes a 12.1" TFT color LCD, a main CPU board, and peripherals such as a module controller, Ethernet LAN card, video card, rotate/push button controller, etc. The main unit can connect at maximum three module cases each of which can accommodate up to 7 parameter modules. High Resolution HC$_3$N Observations toward the Central Region of Sagittarius B2

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. 대기 누출 방사성물질 선원 위치 추적을 위한 3차원 궤적모델 개발 (Development of Three-Dimensional Trajectory Model for Detecting Source Region of the Radioactive Materials Released into the Atmosphere)

  • 연구배경: 우리나라를 포함한 중국, 대만, 북한, 일본 등에서 원전, 재처리시설과 같은 원자력시설의 증가에 따라 주변국 핵활동 분석의 종합적 대책이 필요하다. 우리나라와 포괄적핵실험금지조약기구(Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, CTBTO)는 동북아시아 지역에서 핵종 탐지소를 운영 중으로, 핵종탐지 장비에서 특이 값 측정시 모니터링 자료의 분석과 더불어 배출원 탐색모델을 이용하여 핵종의 기원이 어디인지 추정하고 평가하는 것은 주변국 핵활동에 대한 감시 및 안전성 확보 측면에서 중요하다. 재료 및 방법: 주변국의 은밀한 핵활동 시 방사성핵종의 기원을 추정하기 위하여 3차원 전진/후진형 궤적모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 궤적모델은 궤적 미분방정식을 유한차분법을 이용한 방법으로 주어진 바람자료를 이용하여 방사성핵종의 방출지점으로부터 입자의 궤적을 순차적으로 찾아가는 전진형 모델과 시간 역산으로 방출기원을 추정하는 후진형 모델로 구성되었다. 결과 및 논의: 개발된 궤적모델의 검증을 위하여 체르노빌 사고 당시 측정된 농도자료를 이용하였다. 검증결과 관측지점의 농도가 높게 측정된 지점과 방출기원에서 가까운 지역으로부터 시간 역산의 방출지점을 추정한 결과의 정확도가 높았다. 3차원 궤적모델은 방출시간, 방출높이, 방출간격 등의 변수에 의해 계산결과가 달라지는 불확도를 내포하고 있는데, 이러한 궤적모델의 불확도를 최소화하기 위해 한국원자력연구원에서 개발한 대기확산모델(long-range accident dose assessment system, LADAS)를 이용하여 fields of regards (FOR) 기법에 의해 오염물 방출영역을 추정한바 신뢰성 있는 결과를 얻었다. 결론: 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 배출원 탐색모델은 주변국의 은밀한 핵활동 시 핵종 탐지장비와 연계하여 방사성핵종의 방출지역과 기원을 파악하여 우리나라의 핵종탐지 능력을 향상하고 핵활동 및 방사선 안전 분야에서 주도적 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • WTO출범 이후 저에너지 소모, 저공해, 무공해 등의 환경친화적 운송수단의 발달이 요구됨과 동시에 세계적으로 고속전철기술의 지속적 발전과 시장 확대가 전망됨에 따라 프랑스, 독일, 일본 등과 같은 철도선진국들은 철도기술 개발에 막대한 기술 투자비를 투입하여 기술 우위를 유지하기 위해 노력을 경주하고 있다. 이러한 기술환경 변화에 적극적으로 대응함과 동시에 좁은 국토에서 도로정체에 의한 물류비 증가와 환경오염, 국민생활의 불편 등으로 인한 사회ㆍ경제적 손실을 최대한 억제하고, 국가경쟁력 제고와 환경친화적인 철도 발전을 이끌기 위해 고속전철기술에 대한 독자적 개발 능력은 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이와 같은 요구에 의해 1996년부터 2002년까지 6년간 수행된 G7 고속전철기술개발사업은 350km/h급 고속전철의 독자적인 설계, 엔지니어링 및 제작 능력을 배양하고, 2000년대 차세대 한국형 고속전철을 실현하기 위한 연구개발 프로그램이다. 본 고에서는 G7 고속전철기술개발사업에서 수행된 연구내용 중 차량시스템 엔지니어링기술개발과제의 디자인부문 개발 성과를 요약 소개하였다. 철도선진국에서는 차량설계 초창기부터 디자인 측면의 검토가 매우 활발히 이루어지고 있는 반면, 국내 철도차량개발에 있어 디자인 측면의 검토는 미비하고 소홀히 다루어지고 있는 것이 현실이었다. 하지만 본 사업에서는 차량개념설계 단계부터 디자인전문가들의 적극적인 참여를 통해 국내 철도차량디자인 개발의 새로운 전기를 마련하였을 뿐만 아니라 새로운 차량디자인의 수요에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 기반을 구축하였다. 한국형 고속전철시스템의 디자인 컨셉은 한국의 자연조건과 기술환경에 적합한 보다 빠르고, 보다 쾌적하고, 보다 조용한 한국 고유형 고속전철과 그 여행문화를 이루어내는 것이다. 고속전철의 한국 고유성이란 주로 승객의 고속전철여행을 통해서 인식되어지는 것이다. 따라서 우선적으로 한국의 행동양식과 생활문화를 고려한 일반 객실의 단면개념을 기준으로 공기역학적으로 유리한 단면 외형 형상을 구현하는 한편, 터널 개활지 주행 최적화를 위한 전두부 공력형상 구현, 차체 단면적 축소와 곡선화를 통한 공력저항 최소화, 인간공학적 실내 설계 및 부속실의 편의성 도모, 외관통합 색채디자인 등을 통해 한국 고유형 고속전철 차량 디자인을 개발하였다.

L, C, X-밴드 레이더 산란계 자동측정시스템을 이용한 콩 생육 모니터링 (Monitoring soybean growth using L, C, and X-bands automatic radar scatterometer measurement system)

  • 본 연구에서는 다편파 레이더 산란계 자동 측정시스템 이용하여 콩 생육변화를 관측하고 레이더 시스템에서 얻어진 후방산란계수과 콩 생육인자들과의 관계분석을 통하여 콩 생육추정 가능성을 모색하고자 하였다. 2010년도 농촌진흥청 국립식량과학원 연구지역에 다편파 레이더 산란계 관측시스템 (L, C, X-밴드 안테나, 네트워크분석기, RF switch, 입사각 $40^{\circ}$)을 구축하고 콩 파종시기에서 수확기까지 10분단위로 콩 생육변화를 자동 측정하였다. 모든 안테나 밴드, 편파에서 콩 생육초기 (6월초~7월 중순)에는 VV-편파가 HH-, HV-편파보다 후방산란계수가 높게 나타났고, 그 이후 HH-편파와 다른 편파들 간의 cross-over 현상이 일어났는데 그 시기는 L-밴드가 7월 20일 (DOY 200), C-, X-밴드의 경우에는 7월 30일 (DOY 210)로 밴드에 따라 차이를 보였다. 모든 밴드 및 편파에서 9월 29일 (DOY 271)까지 후방산란계수가 증가하다가 그 이후 감소하였고 특히 종실비대기 (DOY 277, R6) 이후 감소폭이 크게 나타났는데 이 현상은 콩 생육인자 (초장, 엽면적지수, 건물중 등)변화와 일치하였다. 밴드에 따른 후방산란계수와 콩 생육인자들과의 관계를 분석한 결과 L-밴드 HH-편파에서 LAI ($r=0.93^{***}$), 초장 ($r=0.95^{***}$), 건물중 ($r=0.94^{***}$), 꼬투리중 ($r=0.92^{***}$)등 콩 생육인자들과의 상관계수가 가장 높게 나타났고 이에 비해 X-밴드 편파에서는 콩 생육인자들과의 상관계수가 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 후방산란계수 (L-밴드 HH-편파)를 이용하여 콩 생육인자 추정을 위한 회귀식을 작성하였다.

絹織物 Wash and Wear 加工硏究 (Studies on Silk Textile Wash and Wear Finishing)

  • 絹織物加工을 實需要者의 利用度를 增加시키기 爲해 多年間 여러 사람에 의하여 硏究되어 왔으나 天然織維이기 때문에 加工方式으로 性質을 變化시키기는 어려워서 滿足스러운 精度로 이루어지지 못하고 있는 實情에 있다. 絹織物加工은 勿論 그 缺點을 補强하는 同時에 商品的價値도 向上시키는데 目的이 있는데 때로는 有名商標가 品質以上으로 販賣를 左右하는 例도 많다. 特히 絹制品은 歡迎을 받지 못하고 있는 實情에 있다. 이러한 問題點을 解決하기 爲해 筆者는 多年間 硏究를 持績하여 왔든바 一般絹織物의 浸潤後 乾燥時間보다 半減된 時間에 乾燥되는 所謂 Wash and Wear絹加工方法의 開發을 하기에 이르렀다. 그리고 그 加工費用이 極히 經濟性인 탓으로 아무런 부담감 없이 加工處理할 수 있는 特徵을 갖이고 있었다. 1. 繭絲는 吐絲營繭曲線이 S字型으로 되어 있어 浸潤時에는 原狀復舊의 性質이 있어 屈曲狀態를 이룩하게 되어 本加工絹織物이 Wash and Wear이기는 하나 가벼운 다림질이 必要하였다. 2. 이러한 加工은 絹絲蛋白質의 變性을 加工過程에서 1% D.I.S.溶液에 3時間 處理하여 變性誘發시킴으로서 可能하였다. 3. 加工絹의 防皺度, 剛乾度를 洗濯回數를 反復하면서 調査하여 본 結果 未處理絹보다 惡化되지 않았다. 4. 未加工絹도 水洗, 乾燥를 反復하게되면 스스로 變性되는 事實을 알았다. 5. 處理絹과 未處理絹의 强力伸度面의 差異가 없었다.

무청의 항균, 항산화 및 항혈전 활성 (Antimicrobial, Antioxidant and Anticoagulation Activities of Korean Radish (Raphanus sativus L.) Leaves)

  • 우리나라 대표 채소중의 하나인 무의 지상부는 과거 채소가 귀했던 겨울철 주요한 단백질, 비타민, 미네랄, 식이섬유 공급원으로 이용되어 왔으며, 무청김치 및 우거지 등으로 식용되어 왔다. 그러나, 최근의 도시와 농촌의 격리, 산업화의 정착, 식생활 습관의 변화 등으로 인해, 무청은 대부분 폐기되고 있는 실정이며, 무청의 효율적인 이용 및 유용생리활성에 대한 연구는 미미한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 무청을 이용한 새로운 건강식품소재 개발 연구의 일환으로 조선무의 무청을 대상으로 ethanol 추출물 및 이의 순차적 유기용매 분획물들을 조제하여, 이들의 항균, 항산화 및 항혈전 활성들을 검토하였다. 그 결과 무청의 ethanol 추출물의 수율은 5.6%이었으며, 이들의 n-hexane, ethylacetate 및 butanol 분획 효율은 각각 25.3, 3.6, 19.4%로 나타났으며, 물 잔류물은 51.7%를 나타내었다. 총 폴리페놀 및 총 플라보노이드 함량 분석 결과 ethylacetate 분획에서 97.57 및 152.91 mg/g의 매우 높은 함량을 나타내었으며, ethylacetate 분획물은 매우 강력한 항균, 항산화, 및 항혈전 활성을 나타내었다. 먼저 항균 활성의 경우 무청 n-hexane 및 ethylacetate 분획물은 그람 양성균(S. aureus, L. monocytogenes 및 B. subtilis)에 대해 양호한 항균 활성을 나타내었으며, 그람 음성균에서는 E. coli 및 P. aeruginosa를 제외한 P. vulgaris와 S. typhimurium에 대해 생육억제 활성을 나타내었다. 즉, 물 잔류물을 제외한 모든 분획물에서 부분적인 항세균활성이 나타나, 무청 추출물이 다양한 항세균 활성물질을 포함함을 확인하였다. 항산화 활성 평가 결과, ethylacetate 분획물에서 우수한 DPPH 소거능, ABTS 소거능, nitrite 소거능 및 환원력을 확인하였다. 또한 항혈전 활성 평가에서도 ethylacetate 분획물에서 양호한 트롬빈 및 프로트롬빈 억제활성과 함께, 강력한 내인성 혈전 생성억제를 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 무청이 영양적 측면 및 유용생리활성 측면에서 매우 우수한 식품소재임을 제시하고 있으며, 무청을 이용한 기능성 식품개발 및 ethylacetate 분획을 이용한 유용 소재개발의 기본 자료로 활용될 것이다.

고추, 오이 및 사과 재배 중 살균제 Thiophanate-methyl 살포 시 농작업자의 노출 및 위해 평가 (Risk Assessment of Agricultural Worker's Exposure to Fungicide Thiophanate-methyl during Treatment in Green Pepper, Cucumber and Apple Fields)

  • 본 연구에서는 고추, 오이 및 사과 포장에서 thiophanate-methyl 수화제 살포액 조제 시와 동력분무기를 통한 농약 살포 시 농작업자의 노출 및 위해 평가를 수행하였다. 패치, 장갑, 양말, 마스크를 통한 피부노출 측정법과 공기펌프와 고체흡착관을 이용한 호흡노출 측정법을 사용하였으며, 시험 전에 유효성을 모두 검증하였다. 살포액 조제 시, 피부 노출량은 $24.0{\pm}6.7mg$ (고추), $4.5{\pm}1.5mg$ (오이) 및 $18.5{\pm}0.6mg$ (사과)이었으며, 조제액 농약 유효함량 대비 평균 피부 노출수준은 0.007% (고추), 0.001% (오이) 및 0.005% (사과)수준이었다. 조제 시 주요 노출부위는 손으로 전체노출의 78-92%이었다. 농약살포 시, 작업자의 노출량은 $84.9{\pm}14.0mg$ (고추), $34.0{\pm}20.8mg$ (오이) 및 $30.7{\pm}9.1mg$ (사과)으로, 살포된 유효성분 함량 대비 평균 노출비율은 0.024% (고추), 0.016% (오이) 및 0.013% (사과)이었다. 사과포장에서 작업자의 주요 노출부위는 손이었지만 나머지 포장의 경우 주로 허벅지와 정강이에서 노출이 발생하였다. 호흡노출량은 살포액 조제 시 $1.5{\pm}2.2{\mu}g$ (고추), $52.7{\pm}48.9{\mu}g$ (오이) 및 $4.0{\pm}4.9{\mu}g$ (사과)이었던 반면, 농약살포 시 $0.2{\pm}0.1{\mu}g$ (고추), $23.2{\pm}12.4{\mu}g$ (오이) 및 $0.4{\pm}0.6{\mu}g$ (사과)이었다. 피부노출을 결정하는 주요 요인이 작물과의 접촉빈도, 잎 밀도, 살포 습관, 작업 형태, 작업 환경인 반면, 호흡노출의 경우 작업 환경, 특히 바람으로 판단되었다. 위해 평가 결과, 모든 경우에서 안전역이 1이상으로 위해 가능성은 낮았지만, 고추포장에서 농약을 살포할 경우 안전역이 1에 근접하였다.

유리구슬을 사용하여 제조된 재귀반사시트의 구조 및 재귀반사 특성 연구 (Structural and Physical Properties of Reflective Sheets Prepared by Using Glass Beads)

  • 본 연구에서는 유리구슬을 사용하여 일반반사지 및 고휘도 반사지를 제조하여 그들의 반사성능과 물리적 특성을 조사하였다. 유리구슬형 재귀반사 시트의 제조 방법에는 봉입렌즈형과 캡슐렌즈형의 두 가지로 구분될 수 있는데 유리구슬이 공기에 노출되는지 그렇지 않은지를 통해서 구분한다. 유리구슬 위를 덮고 있는 층이 있는 봉입렌즈형은 유리구슬 위의 한 개의 층으로 된 캡슐렌즈형에 비해 악천 후에도 휘도 변화가 거의 없다. 유리구슬의 도포량에 따라 휘도가 달라지므로 최적의 도포량을 조사하였고, 다양한 색상을 지니는 유리구슬 형태의 봉입렌즈형 재귀반사 시트와 캡슐렌즈형 재귀반사 시트를 제조하여 입사각과 관찰각에 따른 재귀반사 시트의 휘도를 조사하여 비교하였다. 공기에 노출되는 캡슐렌즈형 백색 재귀반사 시트의 휘도가 $210.4cd/1x{\cdot}m^2$으로 봉입렌즈형의 $74cd/1x{\cdot}m^2$ 보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 세탁전과 후의 휘도변화를 통하여 재귀반사 시트의 세탁력과 점착성능을 분석하였는데, 캡슐렌즈형은 세탁 후 유리구슬의 수가 줄었고 또한 알루미늄 증착면이 훼손되어 증착된 부분이 일어난 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
