환율변동성이 해상 및 항공 수출입화물에 미치는 영향 (Analysis of the Effects of the Exchange Rate Volatility on Marine and Air Transportation)

  • 국제무역에서 운송수단의 선택은 일반적으로 화물의 운임이 가장 큰 직접적인 영향을 주지만 그 외 세계경기의 상황과 글로벌 무역규모 그리고 환율 등의 외부변수에 의해서도 민감하게 반응한다. 따라서 국제무역에서 해상 및 항공운송 수출입의 변화에 이러한 외부적 요인 등을 고려하여 어떠한 관계 또는 영향이 있는지를 실증분석을 통해 살펴보고 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 최근과 같이 환율의 변화가 심할 경우 해상 및 항공운송에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석은 중요한 주제이며 어떠한 운송수단이 환율변화에 더 민감하게 반응하는지에 대한 분석도 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 2000년 1월~2017년 3월까지 월별 자료를 이용하여 환율의 변화와 국내외 경기수준이 해상 및 항공운송에 미치는 동태적 영향을 분석하기 위해 벡터오차수정모형을 이용하였으며, 충격반응함수 및 예측오차 분산분해도 함께 분석하였다.

다공형 전열판의 회전에 의한 열교환시스템의 성능에 관한 연구(Ⅱ) - 전열판의 회전수 변환에 대하여 - (Study on the Performance of Total Heat Exchanger with Rotating Porous Plates)

  • The experimental investigation was carried out to evaluate the performance of air-to-air heat exchanger with rotating porous plates newly developed in this study. The rotating porous plates are mounted with an equal interval of 18 mm inside the heat exchanger where the hot and cold airs enter at opposite ends. When flowing in opposite directions by the separating plate installed in the center of the rotating porous plates, the airs give and receive the heat each other. The material of the porous plate is cooper and its thickness is 1.0 mm. Air flow rate is varied from 10 to 120 m3/h. From the experiment of air-to-air heat exchanger with the rotating porous plates, the heat exchange performance increased with the increase in RPM of the porous rotating discs at the conditions of the same air flow rate. The sensible heat exchange efficiency was maximum 60 to 70 percent, and enthalpy exchange efficiency 50 to 60 percent.

Helium-Air Exchange Flours Through Partitioned Opening and Two-Opening

  • This paper describes experimental investigations of helium-air exchange flows through partitioned opening and too-opening. Such exchange flows may occur following rupture accident of stand pipe in high temperature engineering test reactor. A test vessel with the too types of small opening on top of test cylinder is used for experiments. An estimation method of mass increment is developed to measure the exchange now rate. Upward flow of the helium and downward flow of the air in partitioned opening system interact out of entrance and exit of the opening. Therefore, an experiment with too-opening system is made to investigate effect of the fluids interaction of partitioned opening system. As a result of comparison of the exchange flow rates between too types of the opening system, it is demonstrated that the exchange flow rate of the two-opening system is larger than that of the partitioned opening system because of absence of the effect of fluids interaction.

개구부를 통한 의복의 환기 양상 평가 (Assessment of Clothing Ventilation through Openings)

  • Clothing ventilation was investigated using a manikin wearing an impermeable overall under an isothermal condition, in which the ventilation occurred only through the openings. The ventilation volume was estimated by both microenvironment volume and ventilation rate, where, the microenvironment volume was measured by an air subsitution method and the ventilation rate by a trace gas method. Microenvironment volume of the experimental garment was about 21.0 liters. Even though it was certainly affected by the distance from the opening, the ventilation rate was more significantly influenced by the opening area and the shape of air layer in the clothing. The volume of air exchange in the clothing microenvironment was affected greatly by the microenvironment volume and the opening area, and it was different for each part of the body with bigger air exchange volume in the microenvironment of the leg as compared to that of the arm.

극저습 공조실의 환기성능에 대한 수치적 모사 (Numerical Simulation of Ventilation Performance in a Dry Room)

  • The characteristics of moisture ventilation in a dry room were studied numerically The effect of three important parameters: position of outlets, aspect ratio($\beta$) of horizontal plane and air exchange rate(N), was analyzed by using the scales of ventilation efficiency. The ventilation performance was evaluated by varying the aspect ratio and air exchange rate in the four types of outlet position. It was shown that the ventilation performance was improved by decreasing the aspect ratio in the longitudinal arrangement of outlet. The highest ventilation performance was determined when $\beta$ was 4 in the transverse arrangement of outlet. Regardless of the aspect ratio, the ceiling arrangement of outlet played more dominant effect on the ventilation efficiency than the floor arrangement. In every type and aspect ratio, the increase of air exchange rate to improve ventilation performance was appropriate up to N=60 /h.

글로벌 여객의 해상과 항공운송에 대한 수요패턴 (Demand Pattern of the Global Passengers: Sea and Air Transport)

  • 글로벌 여객의 해상운송과 항공운송에 대한 수요패턴은 교통수단에 따라 다르게 나타나고 있다. 국제여객선 이용은 1998년 54만 명에서 2008년 253만 명으로 4.7배 증가하였으며, 국제선 항공여객은 1998년 1411만 명에서 2008년 3,534만 명으로 2,124만 명 증가하여 국제선 항공여객보다 여객선에 대한 수요가 더 크게 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 국제여객 항공운송이 차지하는 비중은 1990년 97.6%에서 2008년 93.3%로 하락하였으나 여전히 대단히 높은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 이러한 점은 국제여객선에 대한 수요를 창출할 수 있는 기회가 그만큼 크다는 것을 의미하는 것이기도 하다. 글로벌 여객은 환율과 경기에 어떠한 형태로든 영향을 받을 수밖에 없기 때문에 본고는 두 운송수단에 대한 수요패턴의 차이를 보이는데 목적을 두었다. 그 결과 환율변동에 대해 항공여객이 여객선여객보다 훨씬 민감한 반응을 보이며 경기상승에 대해 여객선수요가 훨씬 더 크게 나타났다. 경기회복과 더불어 국제여객선에 대한 수요가 크게 증가할 것임을 보여주는 것이다. 환율과 경기충격이 운송에 미치는 효과는 상당히 오랫동안 지속되었다. 항공수요는 경기상승충격에 의한 양의 효과가 환율상승 충격에 의한 음의 효과에 의해 어느 정도 상쇄되는 데 비해, 여객선 수요는 경기충격과 환율충격이 같은 방향으로 작용하여 환율과 경기가 여객선 이용에 대한 수요를 크게 증가시킬 것으로 나타났다.

여름철 가정집에서의 산성오염물질에 대한 실내 공기질 특성 (Characteristics of Indoor Air Quality of Acidic Air Pollutants in a Private Home During Home During the Summer Season)

  • Acidic air pollutants were collected to characterize indoor air quality in a residential area in the summer. All indoor and outdoor samples were measured simultaneously using an annular denuder system(ADS) in Seoul. The data set was collected from July 26 to September 11, 1997. The mean indoor/outdoor ratios measured from this study were : 0.34 for $HNO_3$; 0.91 for $HNO_2$; 0.22 for $SO_2$; 1.34 for $NH_3$; 0.78 for $PM_{2.5}(d_p$ <2.5 $mutextrm{m}$); 0.90 for $SO_{4}^{2-}$; 0.68 for $NO_{3}^{-}$ and 0.79 for $NH_{4}^{+}$. Indoor concentrations of $HNO_3$, $SO_2$ and $PM_{2.5}$ were highly correlated with the outdoor concentrations. The relationship between indoor and outdoor air is dependent, to a large extent, on the rate of air exchange between these two environments. A tracer-gas decay technique with sulfur hexafluoride ($SF_{6}$) as a tracer gas was used to estimate the air exchange of a private home in the summer. The average air exchange rate was estimated to be 23.7 hr(sup)-1. The deposition velocities for $SO_{4}^{2-}$, $NO_{3}^{-}$ and $NH_{4}^{+}$ calculated were 0.17, 0.69 abd 0.39 cm/sec, respectively.

A Model for Predicting the Effect of Increasing Air Temperature on the Net Photosynthetic Rate of Quercus mongolica Stands

  • A model was developed to predict the effects of rising air temperature on net photosynthetic rate of Quercus mongolica stands at Mt. Paekcheok-san, Kangwon-do in South Korea. The PFD (Photon flux density) and air temperature were determined from weather data from the research site and the Daegwallyeong meteorological station and gas exchange or release responses of each tree component were measured. Using these data, we simulated the effects of increases in mean annual air temperatures above current conditions on annual $CO_2$ budget of Q. mongolica stands. If mean annual air temperature is increased by 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 or $3.0^{\circ}C$, annual net photosynthetic rate will be increased by 8.8, 12.8, 14.5, 12.6, 9.2 and 1.0 ton $CO_2\;ha^{-1}yr^{-1}$ respectively. Simulations indicate that changes in air temperature will have a major impact on gas exchange and release in Q. mongolica stands, resulting in a net increase in the rate of carbon fixation by standing crops.

공동주택용 폐열회수형 환기장치의 성능에 관한 측정 연구 (A Study on the Performance of Heat Recovery Ventilators for Apartment Houses)

  • Heat recovery ventilator(HRV) is recommended to improve indoor air quarlity (IAQ) and energy conservation in apartment houses. Recently, in Korea, HRV is produced from many manufacturers. However, there have been not so many experiences to apply HRV in apartment houses and verification on the performance such as heat exchange efficiency, carry-over rate, internal leakage, etc. have not been carried out sufficiently. So in this study, fan performance, heat exchange efficiency, air leakage, internal exhaust leakage, external leakage and sound level of HRV were examined for selected HRV models under domestic and international standard. Results of performance test, there were need to improve latent heat exchange efficiency and sound level of HRV.

  • Tracer gas technique is widely used to measure the ventilation rates and/or ventilation effectiveness of building spaces. However, the conventional method using a single tracer gas can measure only outdoor air change rates in a single zone. This paper deals with the multi-gas tracer technique to measure air exchange rates between rooms. Interzonal air movements are important to characterize overall ventilation performance of complicated multi-zone buildings. Experiments are conducted in a simple two-room model with known airflow rates using tracer gases of SF6 and R134a. The concentration decays of two tracer gases are measured after simultaneous injections in each room. The governing equations are derived from the continuity and the mass balance of each room. The data reduction procedure are developed to obtain the inter-room airflow rates using the governing matrix inversion, and various data manipulation methods are tested, such as data shift, interpolation, smoothing, and etc, to improve the estimate and interpretation of the results.
