  • Rapidly developing modern science &technology have a profound impact on Christians and pastoral work. Recently, the 4th Industrial Revolution has induced lots of discussions in the field of church and theology, and artificial intelligence (AI) has become an important issue in many ways. Nevertheless, there is a lack of empirical research on how the AI would affect church and pastoral work. This study examined and analyzed the theological students' perception of AI. A survey was conducted on the perception of seven sub-areas of 220 male and female theological students at major seminaries in Korea. The seven subareas were including the degree of interest in AI, social influence, AI's alternative influence, and AI's church influence. The results showed that theological students generally agree with the academic relevance of AI or the need for education on AI. However, it presented alow perception of the impact of AI on the church. Such recognition may reflect the following belief. Students are aware that the AI is a necessary and important part of social and general education, but at the same time, they think the AI may not significantly threaten the church. Therefore, wes uggest that considering a response of Christian education to raise the perception of theological students of AI, courses related to science and technology should be organized in the curriculum of seminaries at various levels from the perspective of the Christian worldview.

  • Artificial intelligence is applied not only to the daily life of individuals but also to all industries, and it is no wonder that the age of artificial intelligence has arrived. Therefore it is important to understand the factors that influence the acceptance of AI. This study analyzes whether "AI Effect" which recognizes that commercialized or familiar artificial intelligence is no longer artificial intelligence, affects the acceptance of artificial intelligence and proposes an acceptance plan based on the results. Two experiments were conducted. The first experiment was conducted on 105 adults in the result it was found that 32.4% (34 people) had AI Effect, AI Effect existed in 43.6% (24 people) of women and 20% (10 people) of men, that is, the proportion of AI Effect exsitence in women is about twice as high.and AI Effect exists when the level of AI knowledge is low. The second experiment was conducted 240 adults and 85 participants with AI Effect were selected. We found the group that recognized experience of AI accepted AI more actively. Understanding of AI Effect is expected to suggest companies' views in order to enhance AI capabilities and acceptance. In addition, future studies are expected on considering individual differences or related to acceptance attitudes.

  • The 2022 revised science curriculum aims to develop the ability to solve scientific problems arising in daily life and society based on convergent thinking stimulated through participation in research activities using artificial intelligence (AI). Therefore, we developed a science-AI convergence education program that combines the science curriculum with artificial intelligence and employed it in convergence classes for high school students. The aim of the science-AI convergence class was for students to qualitatively understand the movement of a damped pendulum and build an AI model to predict the position of the pendulum using the block coding platform KNIME. Individual in-depth interviews were conducted to understand and interpret the learners' experiences. Based on Giorgi's phenomenological research methodology, we described the learners' learning processes and changes, challenges and limitations of the class. The students collected data and built the AI model. They expected to be able to predict the surrounding phenomena based on their experimental results and perceived the convergence class positively. On the other hand, they still perceived an with the unfamiliarity of platform, difficulty in understanding the principle of AI, and limitations of the teaching method that they had to follow, as well as limitations of the course content. Based on this, we discussed the strengths and limitations of the science-AI convergence class and made suggestions for science-AI convergence education. This study is expected to provide implications for developing science-AI convergence curricula and implementing them in the field.

  • Recently, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled products and services such as smartphones, smart speakers, chatbots are being released due to advances in AI technology. Thus researchers making effort to reveal that consumers' intention to adopt AI-enabled products. Yet, little is known about the intended adoption of AI-enabled products. Because most of studies has been not consideredthe perceived utility value of consumers for each attribute by classified based on the characteristics of AI-enabled products. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in importance between attributes that affect the intention to adopt of AI-enabled products. For this, first, identified and classified the attributes of AI-enabled products based on IS Success Model of DeLone and McLean. Second, measured the utility value of each attribute on the adoption of AI-enabled products through conjoint analysis. And we employed construal level theory to see whether there are differences in the relative importance of AI-enabled products attributes depending on the temporal distance. Third, we segmented the market based on the utility value of each respondent through cluster analysis and tried to understand the characteristics and needs of consumers in each segment market. We expect to provide theoretical implications for conceptually structured attributes and factors of AI-enabled products and practical implications for how development efforts of AI-enabled products are needed to reach consumers need for each segment.

  • Advancements in generative AI are reshaping graphic and 3D content design landscapes, where AI not only enriches graphic design but extends its reach to 3D content creation. Though 3D texture mapping through AI is advancing, AI-generated 3D modeling technology in this realm remains nascent. This paper presents AI 2D image-driven 3D modeling techniques, assessing their viability in 3D content design by scrutinizing various algorithms. Initially, four OBJ model-exporting AI algorithms are screened, and two are further evaluated. Results indicate that while AI-generated 3D models may not be directly usable, they effectively capture reference object structures, offering substantial time savings and enhanced design efficiency through manual refinements. This endeavor pioneers new avenues for 3D content creators, anticipating a dynamic fusion of AI and 3D design.

  • In this paper, we propose an artificial intelligence(AI) technology analysis using partial least square(PLS) regression model. AI technology is now affecting most areas of our society. So, it is necessary to understand this technology. To analyze the AI technology, we collect the patent documents related to AI from the patent databases in the world. We extract AI technology keywords from the patent documents by text mining techniques. In addition, we analyze the AI keyword data by PLS regression model. This regression model is based on the technique of partial least squares used in the advanced analyses such as bioinformatics, social science, and engineering. To show the performance of our proposed method, we make experiments using AI patent documents, and we illustrate how our research can be applied to real problems. This paper is applicable not only to AI technology but also to other technological fields. This also contributes to understanding other various technologies by PLS regression analysis.

  • AI(Artificial intelligence) has brought many changes to our living in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In our daily lives, we can easily access unmanned automatic systems using AI such as unmanned cameras and unmanned delivery boxes. Therefore, AI education has become an important part of daily life in the future. Currently, however, we have very few cases of AI education for young students, such as kindergarten and lower grades in elementary schools. Based on the software education curriculum of kindergarteners and lower graders previously studied, we presented the examples of AI-based teaching and learning activities and presented related AI-based computational thinking by each topic. However, in order for these teaching and learning activities to be applied to public education, it is necessary to secure sufficient class time, improve the educational environment, and actively support teaching activities.

  • Previous studies showed that an improvement in attitude toward a subject affects academic achievement in the subject. The purpose of this study is to confirm that the AI education program causes changes in the AI attitude of gifted children in elementary school, and that the change in attitude leads to a change in literacy. In this study, we conducted an AI education program for gifted children, and analyze the effect of AI education program on the change in AI attitude AI literacy through pre- and post-test. The result of the analysis showed the statistically significant improvement of AI attitudes. In addition, through regression analysis it was found that the change in AI attitude has a statistically significant direct effect on the change in AI literacy. This study has a limitation in that self-evaluation was used to measure AI attitudes and literacy and conducted to a relatively small number of samples. Even though, it was also confirmed that the activities of making an AI programs experienced in real-life can cause changes in AI attitudes and literacy.
