  • High efficiency thin film photovoltaic device technology is reviewed. At present market situation, the industrial players of thin film technologies have to confront the great recession and need to change their market strategies and find technical alternatives again. Most recent technology trends and technical or industrial progress for Silicon thin film and CIGS are introduced and common interests for high efficiency and reliability are discussed.

  • Parenchymal pulmonary endometriosis is the likely cause in patients with hemoptysis, dyspnea, or chest pain during menstruation. Embolization of endometrial tissue from the uterus to the lungs via the pulmonary arteries has been proposed for the mechanism of the development of parenchymal pulmonary endometriosis. This is a report of a woman with catamenial hemoptysis which was responded successfully to danazol therapy; however, hemoptysis resumed after cessation of therapy. The patient was subsequently treated with danazol again because she refused surgical treatments.

  • We consider an M/G/1 feedback retrial queue with Bernoulli schedule in which after being served each customer either joins the retrial group again or departs the system permanently. Using the supplementary variable method, we obtain the joint generating function of the numbers of customers in two groups.

  • Aims of the EXCEPT project and tasks and characteristics of the EXCEPT system are presented based on an analysis of urban planning EIAs. The methodology of evaluation in EIAs, which had to be developed in order to program the system, is based on a model of evaluation processes. Evaluation principles, evaluation rates, an environmental model and a model of the projects being planned are presented. The evaluation concern re-unifies the different components of evaluation again.

  • We consider the M/G/1 queueing model with D-policy. The server is turned off at the end of each busy period and is activated again only when the sum of the service times of all waiting customers exceeds a fixed value D. We obtain the distribution of unfinished work and show that the unfinished work decomposes into two random variables, one of which is the unfinished work of ordinary M/G/1 queue. We also derive the distribution of queue waiting time.

  • We recently experienced Redo MVR to the patient who had received MVR due to MSI by Angell-Shiley porcine xenograft at SNUH 3 years ago. Three months ago, infective endocarditis developed and heart failure progressed so he revisit our hospital and diagnosed prosthetic valve failure. He received MVR again with Ionescu-Shiley valve and discharged somewhat improved state.

  • The paper analyses the optimum locations of university facilities. Pick up a student restaurant, and, using network model, do that examine the following thing with a purpose. 1) Do comparison examination with a current location and optimum location of restaurant. 2) Plan an location of existing restaurant again, and examine location of new restaurant. As a result, made clear what that did the total sum of distance with a minimum could utilize.

I wish to present a hypothesis to explain the mechanism on which every living organism survives, gets sick and recovers again Hydrate minerals are the very prerequisite for all animals and the welfare of mankinds. Hydrate minerals are used to the main medical stuffs, the meterials for water purification and porous meterials for bio-ceramic and bio-plastic industries

  • We consider a more general linear regression super-population model than the one of Chaudhuri and Stronger(1992) . We can find the same type of the best linear unbiased(BLU) predictor as that of Chaudhuri and Stenger and see that the optimal design is again a purposive one which prescribes choosing one of the samples of size n which has $\chi$ closest to $\bar{X}$.

  • In this paper, we investigate a family of graphs associated to collections of arcs on surfaces. These multiarc graphs naturally interpolate between arc graphs and flip graphs, both well studied objects in low dimensional geometry and topology. We show a number of rigidity results, namely showing that, under certain complexity conditions, that simplicial maps between them only arise in the "obvious way". We also observe that, again under necessary complexity conditions, subsurface strata are convex. Put together, these results imply that certain simplicial maps always give rise to convex images.
