  • A limitation is assumed that In this paper, a generalized method is proposed to extract a period of a motion of on object. To detect a periodic motion, we put restrictions on a stationary camera and on a motion of an object. We ca derive the necessary and sufficient condition that an image sequence consists of the projection of the periodic motion by the affine transformation that is a reasonally good approach to the perspective projection. The difficulty of detecting its periodic motion is to select its have period in sequence and to define its width.

  • In this paper, we characterize SL(2, $\mathbb{C}$)-representations of an n-periodic link $\tilde{L}$ in terms of SL(2, $\mathbb{C}$)-representations of its quotient link L and express the SL(2, $\mathbb{C}$)-representation variety R($\tilde{L}$) of $\tilde{L}$ as the union of n affine algebraic subsets which have the same dimension. Also, we show that the dimension of R($\tilde{L}$) is bounded by the dimensions of affine algebraic subsets of the SL(2, $\mathbb{C}$)-representation variety R(L) of its quotient link L.

  • In this paper, we work two different problems. First, we investigate a new class of fractional differential equations involving Caputo sequential derivative with some (e1, e2, θ)-periodic conditions. The existence and uniqueness of solutions are proven. The stability of solutions is also discussed. The second part includes studying traveling wave solutions of a conformable fractional Korteweg-de Vries-Burger (KdV Burger) equation through the Tanh method. Graphs of some of the waves are plotted and discussed, and a conclusion follows.

  • A novel watermark registration method based on Radon transform for self-referencing watermark is presented. The novel method was successful in registering the watermark of the image that has undergone affine transformations and severe lossy compression, whereas the conventional method based on peak detection failed to register the watermark.

  • This paper presents a new linear-matrix-inequality-based intelligent digital redesign (LMI-based IDR) technique to match the states of the analog and the digital T-S fuzzy control systems at the intersampling instants as well as the sampling ones. The main features of the proposed technique are: 1) the affine control scheme is employed to increase the degree of freedom; 2) the fuzzy-model-based periodic control is employed; and the control input is changed n times during one sampling period; 3) The proposed IDR technique is based on the approximately discretized version of the T-S fuzzy system; but its discretization error vanishes as n approaches the infinity. 4) some sufficient conditions involved in the state matching and the stability of the closed-loop discrete-time system can be formulated in the LMIs format.

  • Recently, rapid urbanization has necessitated continuous updates in digital map to provide the latest and accurate information for users. However, conventional aerial photogrammetry has some restrictions on periodic updates of small areas due to high cost, and as-built drawing also brings some problems with maintaining quality. Alternatively, this paper proposes a scheme for efficient and accurate update of digital map using point cloud data acquired by Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS). Initially, from the whole point cloud data, the building sides are extracted and projected onto a 2D image to trace out the 2D building footprints. In order to register the footprint extractions on the digital map, 2D Affine model is used. For Affine parameter estimation, the centroids of each footprint groups are randomly chosen and matched by means of a modified RANSAC algorithm. Based on proposed algorithm, the experimental results showed that it is possible to renew digital map using building footprint extracted from TLS data.
