공동주택 외관 리모델링 과정에서 거주자 참여 설계를 지원하는 인터넷 기반 외관디자인 협업설계 프로세스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Internet-based Collaborative Exterior Design Process to Support Users′Participation in Apartment Exterior Remodeling)

  • The facade design of apartment is getting more important, since residents'needs on raising the quality of housing have increased, and also public interests on urban landscape are higher than before. As a way of improving facade design the necessity of remodeling consequently has been risen. The government also relieves the regulations related to remodeling. A apartment facade design should address how to express both identities and aesthetic tastes of residents, so they want to reflect their own ideas and opinions on the apartment facade design during the remodeling process. It is not always easy, unfortunately, to reflect residents'ideas and opinions due to the public characteristics of apartment facades and absence of tools that support effective design participation. This paper proposes an internet-based collaborative design process that supports residents'active participation in the exterior remodeling process of apartment. We outline three main issues involved in developing the design system: 1) a semantic facade database built upon classification of building facades; 2) an Internet-based facade modeler based on a real-time, rule-based procedural modeling method; and finally 3) the virtual reality(VR) simulation that allows a group of designers and residents to design in a collaborative fashion.

초등학교 여교사의 스포츠활동 참여 여부에 따른 체육수업의 차이분석 (Analysis of Distinction according to Athletics Class Teaching of Sport Activities Participation by Primary School Female Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 여교사의 스포츠활동 참여 여부에 따른 체육수업의 차이를 분석하기 위한 것으로 스포츠활동 참여유무, 참여유형, 참여정도(빈도, 강도, 기간)에 따른 체육수업의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구대상으로는 인천광역시 소재 초등학교 교사 중에서 여교사 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 분석방법은 t-검정, 일원변량 분산분석을 사용하였다. 분석결과 스포츠활동에 참여하는 여교사는 비참여 교사에 비해 체육수업 인식 및 체육 교수활동에서 높게 나타났고 통계적으로도 유의한 차이가 있었다. 스포츠 참여 여교사 중에서 스포츠 참여 유형에 따른 체육수업은 간접적 대결 활동군이 수행기록 활동군과 심미적 활동군에 비해 체육 교수활동에서 높게 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 스포츠 참여정도에 따른 체육수업은 참여빈도에서 주 2회 이상 참여한 여교사가 주 1회 이하로 참여한 여교사보다 체육교수활동에서 높게 나타났으며 통계적으로도 유의한 결과가 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초등학교 여교사의 스포츠활동 참여가 체육수업에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 하겠다.

도시농업 참여 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 : Pine II and Gilmore 이론과 Schmitt 이론의 결합을 중심으로 (Factors Affecting Participation Intention of Urban Agriculture : Focusing on the Combination of Pine II & Gilmore and Schmitt's Experiential Economy Theory)

  • 최근 코로나19 팬데믹 상황에서 힐링 개념으로 도시농업이 주목을 받고 있다. 2020년에는 1,848,000명이 도시농업 활동에 참여한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 도시농업 참여 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 실증적으로 분석하기 위해 이루어졌다. 연구의 이론적 토대는 Pine II and Gilmore의 체험경제이론과 Schmitt의 체험 이론이다. 독립변수는 Pine II and Gilmore의 체험경제이론 4가지 요소 즉 교육적, 오락적, 일탈적, 심미적 체험과 Schmitt의 이론을 활용하여 재분류한 관계적 체험으로 총 5개의 변인을 설정하였다. 이들 독립변수와 종속변수인 도시농업 참여 의도간에는 흥미를 매개 변인으로 설정하였다. 실증 분석을 위해 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 이렇게 수집된 자료 중 유의한 314부를 바탕으로 통계분석을 통해 가설을 검정하였다. 먼저 독립변수와 종속변수 간 영향 관계 검정 결과 교육적, 오락적, 일탈적 체험은 도시농업 참여 의도에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 영향력의 크기는 오락적 체험, 일탈적 체험, 교육적 체험 순이었다. 심미적 체험과 관계적 체험은 유의한 영향 관계가 검정되지 않았다. 한편, 본 연구결과 매개변수로 도입된 흥미는 오락적, 일탈적, 심미적 체험과 도시농업 참여 의도 간 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 교육적 체험 및 관계적 체험과 도시농업 참여 의도 간에는 흥미의 매개 효과가 검정되지 않았다. 본 연구는 도시 농업 참여에 관해 힐링의 개념으로 접근하여 체험 이론의 대표적인 Pine II and Gilmore 이론과 Schmitt 이론을 결합하여 분석함으로써 도시농업 활동 참여에 미치는 요인을 이론적인 틀을 바탕으로 실증적으로 분석했다는 점에서 학술적인 의미가 있다. 또한 실무적으로 오락적 체험과 일탈적 체험이 도시농업 참여 의사결정에 중요 영향 변수임을 밝힘으로써 도시농업에 관하여 힐링 개념 접근이 방향적으로 맞다는 부분을 제시한 것은 의미가 있었다.

인터렉티브 미디어 파사드에 나타나는 미학적 특징 (Aesthetic Characteristics in Interactive Media Facade)

  • 미디어 파사드(Media Facade)는 건축물의 내 외 공간을 겸하며 건축에 디자인, 동영상, IT 기술 등이 융합되어건축물을 새로운 의미 공간으로 변모하게 하는 종합 정보 전달 매체이다. 현재 미디어 파사드는 건축물의 외부 에 한정되지 않고, 영상 매체 설치가 가능한 다양한 공간에서 관객들에게 새로운 경험을 선사하고 있다. 또한 인터렉션 미디어 파사드는 단방향 커뮤니케이션에서 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션으로의 변화를 가져와 관객들에게 현장감을 더해 주고, 참여도와 몰입도를 증가시켜 효과를 극대화하고 있다. 본 연구는 인터렉티브 미디어 파사드(Interactive Media Facade)의 미학적(美學的) 특징에 대해 다각도로 살펴보고, 관련 사례들을 분석해보았다. 국내 외 사례를 바탕으로 향후 국내 인터렉티브 미디어 파사드의 지향점에 대해 고찰해보았다.

국내 패션 디자이너의 공연의상 디자인 연구 (A Study on Korean Fashion Designers' Stage Costumes)

  • The globalization of Korean culture has spurred a steady increase in the participation of domestic fashion designers in global performance art. This study analyzes the formal elements of stage costume designs by fashion designers, and further evaluates the impact of these designers' aesthetic philosophies on overall performance. This analysis seeks to provide a foundation for the development of new directionality in performance art, with an enhanced competitiveness derived from diversity and creativity. The scope of this research spans 15 performances and eight fashion designers' works in the post-2010s era. These performances are characterized by their break from traditional artistic norms, illustrating the modernization of the performing arts and reflecting the designers' aesthetic philosophies. This modernization incorporates inspirations drawn from a diverse selection of movements, such as fusion, culture clash, kitsch, and minimal avant-garde. As a result, in combination with a pure reflection of the designers' aesthetics, these designs heighten overall performance, suggest a new direction for traditional performance art, tap into a popular sensibility to expand communication to a wider audience, and push the boundaries of tradition through artistic innovation.

일본 아방가르드 패션의 미학 -몸의 평면화를 중심으로- (Aesthetics of Japanese Avant-garde Fashion -Focusing on Planarization of the Body-)

  • Clothes and human body are inseparably related. Aesthetic consciousness of the body determines the form of clothing, reflecting the time and culture as well as the individual and society. Clothes can even reorganize the meaning of the body, while transcending their instrumental functions of protecting, expanding and deforming the body. Using 'body' to analyze the clothing form, my study develops a framework by which to classify the planarization of the body in Japanese avant-garde fashion. In order to inquire the formative style and aesthetic values expressed in Japanese avant-garde fashion, my study examines subjects from the discourse on the body to the fashion collections of the 20th and 21st century. The results of the study are as follows. Japanese avant-garde fashion focuses on a planarization of the body which questions the three dimensional construction of the body in more conventional clothing system. Un-structured, variable space posited between the body and clothes, participation of the wearer, attention to recent technology and material, and absence of gender identification characterizes the planarization of the body in Japanese avant-garde fashion. The absence of body in fashion stresses a will-to-form rather than mere bodily proportion and structure, which explores trans-extensity that goes beyond the boundary of the body Ultimately, planarization of the body betrays the correspondence between signifiant and signifie in sartorial convention. Aesthetic ideal of the body is visualized in the form of a dress. Some clothes prioritize the body, particularly the feminine bodily curves, while others focus on the clothing itself as abstract and sculptural forms. Fashion continues to explore forms and images that transcend the traditional representations of the clothed body. As a type of intimate architecture, fashion always mediates the dialogue between clothes and body, or fashion and figure. My study suggests a framework to analyze bodily representation in Japanese avant-garde fashion, focusing on the relationship between the clothes and body.

Management of Aesthetic intentions in Urban Design -Artworks in Urban Public Space-

  • After World War II, Japan experienced a great political and social shift, which brought a concern of emerging public landscape in urban development. This paper analyses the management of the aesthetic intentions in urban design effort. We reviewed the development of various public installation of artworks concerning urban landscape aesthetics through its administrative process in chronological order. The monuments during the first decade marked a shift in emphasis from the militarism of the pre-war and wartime period to one of peace. However, some of the monuments and sculptures are not immune to controversy. This became an issue that could no be ignored by public officials whose responsibility was to place the sculptures while maintaining sensitivity to public opinion. As public administrators began to consider the possibility that sculptures may contribute to improving public amenities, the contextual concepts were basically ignored. Some of the programs in 1970s began to show more respect to the context, while other programs in this period expressed more interest in educational aspects of sculptures in the public spaces. Urban development projects also seek to introduce artworks integrated to their urban design concepts in 1990s. Generally, the administrators responsible for these programs were rarely trained in any relative field study other than public administration. Installing sculptures tended to be considered as part of public works projects on the level of urban planning and construction. The general public is basically removed from participating in the critical decisions that actually impact their lives in relation to the artworks. In conclusion, public art in japan has unique social and historic background both in its advantages and disadvantages. Issues pertaining to art in public spaces have evolved over the decades as the term "sculpture pollution" began to appear by the mid 1990s. most of the problems originated in either the lack of monumentality, contextual consideration, quality, or public participation. From another point of view, these programs played great roll in the development of modern Japanese sculpture and patronizing process, and the creation of new urban landscape with aesthetic value. In this sense, they must be considered as successful and noteworthy examples of cultural administration and urban design policy.

포스트모던 연극에 대한 반성과 한국연극의 미학적 지평 : '정치적 글쓰기' (Reflection of post-modern theater and aesthetic horizon of Korean theater: "political writing")

  • Under the influence of postmodernism, modern writing tends to refuse an immediate conveyance of messages achieved by linear, unified writing. Such writing does not attempt any social participation and has no leading ethics, offering diverse perspectives. It simply relies on material property ignoring the 'here and now'. This discussion depends on the sensuous immediacy of works that are pure and uninterpretable, causing the "death of author" phenomena. Although the time was late, since the 1990s, discussion and work on deconstructive theater has been executed in the Korean theater world. This deconstructive work was achieved when lineal narratives were shattered through the shocking insertion of fragmentary episodes and imagery. Moreover, such plays were shocking presentations of severance in conversation; lack of communication; loss of pride and love; and a world devastated by violence and madness. In the 2000s, such a movement helped form a new paradigm in the theater through reinterpretation and parody of traditional dramas, while drawing general attention to postmodern theater. However, as the problems of postmodern theater are perceived through study, the limit of plays with a postmodern tendency is pointed out: such plays merely display 'deconstruction'. This thesis will examine reflective thought on postmodern theater seeking "deconstruction without alternatives" and the aesthetic concept of "le politique" by Jacques Ranciere. It will also look through the overlap of images as interval-estrangement, "lettre morte", and simulacre representing mise-en-scene aesthetics weaving "political writing". This study is meaningful in that it tries to extend the new aesthetic horizon of Korean theater, examining in 2009 and by Koh Sun-Woong in 2011, directed by Park Chung-Hee in 2010 and directed by Park Keun-Hyung in 2009.

재난과 미술적 대응: 헤르만 조셉 하크(Hermann Josef Hack)의 기후난민 프로젝트 (Disaster and Artistic Measures: Hermann Josef Hack's Project of World Climate Refugee Camp)

  • This thesis is a study of artistic measures and climate refugees, based on Hack's World Climate Refugee Camp project. According to Hack, climate refugees appeared with the process of globalization. Hack claimed that the people who put climate refugees in danger are the industrialized nations, and therefore, their rejection of refugees is nonsense. He also stated that the fundamental solution would be the active participation of such nations. Thus, he travels around the world, encouraging participants and globalizing his project. Interestingly, the practical participation method of his climate calamity project is divided into four methods, which are all related to realizing the danger and presenting various solutions. First, the aesthetic of survival: the reason Hack focused on the warming trend and claimed that we have to accept the climate refugees as refugees comes from the thought that we are all potential refugees, and the anxiety that climate refugees may cause war in the end. The solution Hack found for surviving in such a world is to create "refugee camps" to notify people about the seriousness of climate change, and to put the "aesthetic for survival" in action. Second, a relation-oriented relationship: communication between Hack and the participants was done in various ways. They are experiencing a bond and emotions of an interrelationship through their actions in the experimental field, experiencing a new form of art, which they were not able to experience in a museum. Third, a utopian measure: Hack's utopian measure started from the fear of dystopia but Hack still believes that it is not only a dream, but that it can be realized. He claims that even though the start may be feeble, it is possible to rescue children from starvation and to treat climate refugees as proper human in the end, when communication and cooperation is done the right way and properly. Fourth, the aesthetic of global relation, the internet: the new solution Hack is trying on the internet is to make more people participate in his project. It is fate that "human are the wrongdoer and the victim at the same time", but according to Hack's opinion, social disaster can be avoided through effort and it is optimistic that we can give form to the culture revolution we are experiencing now. Hack's project illustrated the importance of daily life, compared to art inside a museum, through active participation of the people and opened up a new method of art through realistic responses to disasters. This is distinctive from the past exhibitions, where artists gave shape and form to ideals and an imaginary world, in that it shows that the artist and audience aim for creating a community-like structure, just like Bourriaud's art method. Hack's project of climate calamity illustrates that installation and action art is not only an art genre which shows installation and activities, but that it can include social and political issues and that it can be completed with the help of participants, consequently becoming a genre of modern art. Hack raises a question about art's identity through various descriptions. Artists as planners, who base their artworks on their subjectivity or the characteristics of a specific period, the people as participants, the duet of art work and play, human and human, and further, human and nature. The practical participation method, as a measure for "disaster", reveals the new art of the 21st century within Hack's artworks. Even though there are several problems with Hack's usage of art as a measure for disaster, it will actively open up a new page for the 21st century's art with the theme of disaster.

체험경제이론에 의한 북큐레이션 교육 프로그램이 지각된 가치와 지속적 참여 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effect of the Book Curation Education Program Using Experiential Economy Theory on Perceived Value, Continuous Participation Intent)

  • 본 연구는 체험경제이론을 반영한 북큐레이션 교육 프로그램을 개발, 실행한 후에 프로그램에 대한 인식이 지각된 가치와 지속적 참여 의도에 미치는 영향력을 분석하려는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 북큐레이션 교육 프로그램은 체험경제이론에 따른 4가지 요소 즉, 오락적 경험, 교육적 경험, 현실 도피적 경험, 심미적 경험을 교수·학습 활동에 반영하였다. 이 연구는 프로그램의 효과를 측정하기 위해 프로그램에 참여한 195명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 분석한 결과, 연구가설 1(북큐레이션 교육 프로그램의 경험에 대한 인식이 프로그램의 지각된 가치에 영향을 미친다)은 심미적 경험과 오락적 경험이 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 연구가설 2(북큐레이션 교육 프로그램의 경험에 대한 인식이 지속적 참여 의도에 영향을 미친다)는 교육적 경험을 제외한 다른 모든 요인이 유의미한 것으로 나타났다.
