Pre-test was conducted for this study in order to select the distributor and to classify the product type, FGI was conducted with 10 graduate students of K university in Kyong-gi. This study survey housewives, office workers, and university students excluding the participants in the pre-test. In the final analysis, research hypothesis is verified through the data of 280 answers in Korea. This research is conducted with a factor design of 3 types of distributors -department store, discount store, convenience store-and 2 types of product -utilitarian product, hedonic product. To verify the hypotheses, ANOVA is carried out. Reliability test of each measurement variables, Cronbach α coefficient is used. For each analysis, SPSS Windows 15.0 statistical program is used. The findings suggest that First, according to the size and characteristics, distributors are classified into department stores, discount stores, and convenience stores and it is verified whether if there are differences in consumers' attitude (product attitude, brand attitude and purchase intention) by the effect of different distributors. Results showed that product attitude is statistically significant. Second, product type is classified by two categories according to whether the product seeks for practicality or emotional pleasure - Utilitarian product and Hedonic product. In this context, the result after verifying whether if there is difference in the attitudes -product attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention - in accordance with the product types is shown that utilitarian products makes bigger difference compared to hedonic products. Third, it is confirmed that there is interaction effect between product attitude and purchase intention according to the distributer type and product type. However, we find that in terms of brand attitude, there is no interaction effect. The implications of this research is as the following. First, we propose the need of PB product development and marketing strategy, which considers the product types in accordance with the scale and features of each distributor. Second, PB products should break away from the simplicity of standardized products and consider the different features of distributors. Distributors will be in need of a strategy to build a compelling brand that can differentiate itself from other distributors. This will contribute to the improvement in reliability and formation of product value.

  • As the digital broadcasting era settled in, the TV, which was only used to watch broadcast programs, developed as a medium for operating various data services. This means that an environment, in which the viewers' TV usage behavior can be changed from a passive attitude to an attitude of actively consuming the media, has been established. Since the advertising market is an industry that is heavily influenced by changes in the media, these changes causes changes in the form of advertising and the advertising consumption behavior of viewers. In this environment, the broadcasting industry needs to think about the new growth strategy that links the possibility of data service with the advertisement market. In this study, we designed a data service that provides supplementary information of an ID advertisement, which has the weakness of short exposure time and shortage of information expression space. Specifically, we have designed the usage scenario and user interface of the data service and developed a method, based on the international digital broadcasting standard DV B, that provides the supplementary information defined by the type of ID advertisement to the data service.

  • This study aimed to examine the effect of ad attributes on engagement, the mediating effect of engagement on the relationship between ad attributes and advertising effectiveness (attitudes toward ads, continuous intention to search, and e-WOM intention), and the differences in advertising effectiveness at different levels (low vs. high) of curiosity toward fashion video ads in the online context. For this purpose, a total of 408 responses were collected from consumers who were aged 20-40 years and had viewed fashion video ads via PC/mobile channels in the preceding six months. The results showed that three advertising attributes, namely informativeness, entertainment, and personalization, were significant predictors of engagement. Additionally, engagement had a significant mediating effect on the relationship between entertainment and ad effectiveness. Moreover, both informativeness and entertainment had a significant direct effect on the behavioral intention to search and engage in e-WOM. At the high-curiosity level, engagement had a significant influence on ad attitudes and e-WOM intention. In contrast, at the low-curiosity level, entertainment had a significant influence on e-WOM intention and continuous intention to search. These findings are meaningful in that they extend the advertising attitude model to fashion video ads in the online context.

For avoidance behavior, the group who habitually use intention and pursue amusement was higher than the group who pursue narrative identities. Second, for the positive attitude towards advertisement based on Youtube Use Intensity, the group with higher Use Intensity showed an optimistic attitude relative to the group with lower Use Intensity. However, there was no difference in the avoidance behavior for advertisement. • One of the most latest trends in today's marketing practice is to create branded contents for interacting with online consumers. Marketers are increasingly adopting behind-the-scene contents which disclose a brand's backstage information in their contents marketing efforts. The current study conceptualizes this behind-the-scene storytelling based on dramaturgical theory and investigates its impacts on consumer responses. The study also examines how consumers advertising skepticism level would influence on the evaluation of branded contents. In addition, the moderating role of advertising skepticism in evaluating brand's backstage information is investigated. The findings suggests that consumers who are exposed to brand's backstage indicate greater information attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention than those who are not exposed to brand's backstage. Also consumers who have lower advertising skepticism evaluated branded contents more positively than high ad skepticism consumers. Lastly, the moderating role of advertising skepticism on the impact of brand's backstage disclosure is reported.
