유행채택모형 연구 (Fashion Adoption Process Model)

  • This research presents a fashion adoption process model based on collective selection theory and examines the differences in the consumer adoption process of merchandising types at each stage of the fashion cycle. A questionnaire survey of 472 adult women was conducted for the purpose of empirical analysis of the fashion adoption process. The results show that fashionability and popularity (the primary attributes of fashion goods) have direct effects on resistance and adoption as well as indirectly through social compatibility and personal compatibility in the evaluation stage. In conclusion, on the theoretical side, this study verified the fashion process model according to consumer participation in the adoption process of fashion goods existing at different stage of the fashion cycle, internally through negotiating with individual tastes, and externally through interacting with others. On the practical side, this study presented an empirical result that can apply to merchandizing strategy centered on merchandizing type by connecting consumer adoption for the fashion goods released by actual companies.

  • It is important to understand the process of IT diffusion between organizations for meeting effectively IT progress and its changes. The previous studies provide, the process of IT diffusion between organizational members, organizational factors facilitating the assimilation of IT within the organization, and the organizational members' usage of communication channels in the IT adoption process. But they failed to provide comprehensively the diffusion process of IT between organizations. Therefore, an empirical research through a field survey has been performed to examine the diffusion process of RDB with 64 companies to overcome the limits of the previous studies. The purpose of this study is (1) to empirically examine the interaction of companies(prior adopters and potential adopters), (2) to look into the differences of the factors of organizational structure and the periods of RDB adoption process between OAE(Organizations Adopting Earlier) and OAL(Organizations Adopting Later), and the importance of communication channels used in IT planning stage and adoption stage, (3) to inquire into the difference of RDB performance between OAE and OAL. The results of this study indicate that there is no interaction between the prior adopters and the potential adopters. Also, there are great significant differences with regards to variables of CEO's age, CEO's concern on IT, formalization, centralization compensation systems, CIO's attitudes on changes, RDB adoption periods, performance of RDB. In addition, interpersonal channels have been much more used than mass communication channels in both IT planning stage and adoption stage. This study provides good guidelines to the companies and the vendors in shaping the strategies of IT adoption and IT diffusion respectively.

  • The objectives of this study is to develop a strategy for the adoption of BPM(Business Process Management) standards and an implementation guideline of the BPM standard for BPM solution developers focusing on BPEL(Business Process Execution Language) which is regarded as the most important BPM standard. In the heterogeneous and distributed IT environments, every type of enterprise software requires standards to enhance interoperability. BPMS(Business Process Management System), which is a type of enterprise software requires BPM standards such as BPEL(Business Process Execution Language), BPMN(Business Process Modeling and Notation), BPQL(Business Process Query Language) and so on to achieve multi-system interoperability and component interoperability with their BPM solutions. It is quite helpful to provide the adoption strategy concerning BPM standards for each type of BPM solution vendors who need the BPM standards. Since the BPEL is conceived as the most important BPM standard and widely adopted by many BPM vendors, we have proposed a reference architecture for BPEL implementation and also developed the detail implementation guideline of core components of the BPM system supporting the BPEL standard. Using the strategy and implementation guideline proposed in this work, BPM solution vendors can establish their own standard adoption strategy and they can also develop their BPM solutions supporting the BPM standards more efficiently.

시장 불확실성 수준과 혁신체제 패턴간 적합에 관한 연구 : 우리나라 초고속인터넷산업의 사례

  • This study explored the patterns of activities and interactions among participants in the adoption process of a new system innovation, ADSL, in Korea, using an integrative framework of innovation system and strategic decision-making process for uncertainty reduction. An in-depth case analysis was undertaken to identify the adoption process of ADSL innovation, as a case in point, in conjunction with activities and interactions among related parties such as government, service providers, equipment suppliers, and content providers. The results of case analysis revealed that as the level of uncertainty in the adoption of ADSL innovation decreases, the focus of decision-making activities moves from scoping, to searching, to evaluating and to committing. Also this study found that at the early stage of ADSL adoption with higher level of uncertainty, government plays a pivotal role in coordination of related parties to participate in the innovation process, while service providers replaced this role at later stage of innovation with lower level of uncertainty. This study discussed theoretical and policy implications for the adoption of new system innovations with varying degrees of uncertainty.

XBRL Adoption Process in Malaysia Using Diffusion of Innovation Theory

  • The study examined the XBRL adoption process of Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) by utilizing Everett Rogers' Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory. The study focused on the three phases, namely, knowledge gathering and persuasion phase, decision-making phase, and implementation phase of XBRL adoption process gathered from a government agency in Malaysia. This study employs a qualitative case study that incorporates semi-structured interviews with four members of the regulator. The results reveal that the regulator has realized the advantages, management support, and need to skills development in phase one. On the other hand, in phase two, it finds the way the regulator makes decision related to XBRL taxonomy and submission template, platform, tools and software. Through phase three, the regulator is concerned with the complexity of XBRL taxonomy, resources, external support, promotion, stakeholder involvement, limited trading pressure, critical mass, and professional bodies. The factors from each phase suggest an in-depth understanding on the experience of XBRL through the development of MBRS that provides a success story to the other government agencies and regulators in Malaysia. This study provides several insights on the factors that could contribute to the adoption of XBRL and the Diffusion of Innovation theory adoption process.

  • The Adoption/Diffusion of Innovations(New Product), a topic of study and research that has frown rapidly in the past few decades, deals with how a new product is adopted in a society. It is of high importance to marketing organizations because New Products must be brought out continuously in order to service. 미혼모의 입양결정 과정에 관한 연구 -해석학적 근거이론 방법 접근- (A Study of Adoption Decision Process of Non-married Mothers -Hermeneutic Grounded Theory Methodology Approach-)

  • 이 연구는 미혼모가 경험한 입양결정 과정의 전반적 의미를 이해하고자 Rennie가 제안한 해석학적 근거이론의 방법을 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 191개 의미단위, 46개 하위범주, 11개 해석학적 범주가 구성되었고, 연구 참여자들의 입양결정 과정을 관통하는 핵심범주는 '모성의 밀어냄과 끌어안음의 이중성 속에 새겨진 흔적안고 살아가기'로 상정되었다. 미혼모들의 입양결정 과정은 임신 인지, 현실 회피, 입양 탐색, 혼란 증폭, 결단, 합리화 혹은 상실의 단계로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 미혼모의 입양결정 과정은 모성 실현의 또 다른 방식이 될 수도 있다는 점, 이들의 삶의 질을 제고할 수 있는 심리사회적 지지프로그램의 필요성을 제안하였다.

IT 도입요소를 고려한 외주 S/W 프로세스품질과 제품품질 (Relevance of Outsourcing S/W Process Quality and Product Quality with IT Adoption Factors)

  • Due to the deterioration of the business environment, many companies become more interested in IT adoption to strengthen their internal competence. The recent expansion of the ERP adoption in the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can be interpreted as an example for this. However there are still a number of questions over the outsourcing effectiveness and its performance of IT adoption by characteristics of SMEs. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the software process quality and the product quality, and additionally the moderating effect of IT adoption factors, from the case of SMEs' ERP adoption by the outsourcing. For this purpose, the empirical analysis through the structural equation model has been carried out, based on the software quality model defined in ISO/IEC 15504 and ISO/IEC 9126. The result of analysis shows that the acquisition process quality can affect the product quality characteristics, currently applied in the national software quality certification, and this supports the practical usefulness of the ISO standard of software engineering. But another result shows that there is little moderating effect by IT adoption factors, in contrast to the expectation, and this can be explained due to the inappropriate measurement and the data constraint such as short duration-time of IT adoption. These can be used as an informative reference for continuing studies of the quality model application and the effect of IT adoption factors in SMEs.

지방정부 지리정보시스템(GIS)구축의 과정적 평가 (A Process Evaluation of GIS Construction in Local Government in Local Government)

  • 본 연구는 GIS 정책을 과정 모델을 통해 평가하고 문제점 및 개선방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 즉 우리나라 지방정부의 GIS 집행과정이 어떤 과정을 밟아가고 있으며, 전과정에서 중요하게 고려하였던 요인 및 단계가 무엇이며, 그리고 이로 인해 나타난 GIS 정책의 문제점은 무엇인지를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석결과 우리나라 지방정부의 GIS집행과정에서 나타난 대표적인 문제점은 GIS의 도입단계에서 고려해야할 중요한 단계가 구축단계에 포함되지 않았거나 고려하였다. 하더라도 비중이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 시스템의 구입 및 업체선전 등 기술적인 요인보다는 사용가능성 검토, 관리자 교육 등 비기술적 요인에 대한 단계들에 대한 관심이 부족하였으며, 이로 인해 기본 계획과 관련된 전략이 제대로 수립되지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 지방정부에서 단순히 새로운 정보시스템을 도입하는 것만이 반드시 성공적인 채택을 의미하는 것이 아니라는 사실을 반증하는 결과이다.
