지속가능발전교육(ESD)을 위한 중학교 기술·가정 교과서 가정생활 영역 분석 연구 - 청소년의 소비 생활 단원을 중심으로 - (The Analysis of Contents on Education for Sustainable Development(ESD) in Middle School Home Economics Textbooks : Focused on the Units of 'Adolescence Consumption Life')

  • 본 연구는 중학교 가정과 교과서의 '청소년의 소비 생활' 단원을 지속가능발전교육의 프레임워크(framework)로 분석하여 현재 가정교과의 지속가능발전교육과의 관련성을 살펴보고, 향후 미래지향적 관점으로 지속가능한 삶을 영위할 수 있는 역량을 키울 수 있는 교육과정 구성과 교육내용 선정을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 분석 대상은 12종 2009 개정 교육과정의 가정교과서 중 '청소년의 소비 생활' 단원이다. 분석방법은 Romey의 내용분석법을 사용하여 ESD 내용요소를 심층적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, '청소년의 소비 생활' 단원에서 공통으로 추출된 내용요소들을 지속가능발전교육(ESD)의 분석준거(환경적, 경제적, 사회적 영역)로 분석한 결과 23개의 관련 주제에 따른 하위 내용요소들로 구성되었다. 둘째, 중학교 12종 가정교과서의 '청소년의 소비 생활' 단원 내용요소를 지속가능발전교육(ESD)의 세 영역으로 분석한 결과, 사회적 영역(68%), 경제적 영역(58%), 환경적 영역(40%) 순으로 나타났다. 이는 2009 개정 교육과정에서 제시하고 있는 청소년 소비자의 역할이 주체적인 소비자에 중점을 두었고, 이와 관련된 내용들이 인간의 안전, 소비문화, 사회적 관심, 단체를 조직하고 활동할 권리 등과 상당히 관련이 있다고 볼 수 있다.

청소년 초기의 신체상 태도와 관련 변인들 간의 관계 (Relationships between Body Image Attitude and Its Correlates in Early Adolescence)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine relationships among body image attitudes and their correlates in early adolescence. The participants were 614 adolescents. The results were as follows: 1) There were significant correlations among adolescents' body image evaluation, body image investment, body mass index, depression, perceptions of parental and peer influence, and awareness of media messages regarding physical appearance, 2) There were significant differences in depression, parents' influence, peer influence, and awareness of media messages regarding physical appearance between adolescents with higher body image investment and those with lower body image investment, and 3) Awareness of media messages regarding physical appearance was the most influential predictor of adolescents' body image investment.

청년기 소비자의 라이프스타일과 점포속성 중요도가 패션점포선택에 미치는 영향 -대형점포를 중심으로- (The Influence of Lifestyle and Importance of Store Attribute upon Fashion Store Selection of Adolescence Consumers)

  • The purposes of this study were to classify the contents of lifestyle of adolescence consumers, to examine the differences of lifestyle, importance of store attribute, preference of fashion store according to demographic variables, to test preference of fashion store and lifestyle, preference of fashion store, and to examine how the preference of fashion store was influenced by lifestyle, importance of store attribute, and demographic variables. Subjects were 317 adolescence consumers(13-24 years) in Seoul, Korea. Preference of imported & brand goods, orientation of fashion & beauty life, and family orientation had a direct effect on preference of department store($R^2$=.129). Sex had an indirect effect on preference of department store through orientation of fashion & beauty life. Search of video media & information and age(-) had a direct effect on preference of entertainment shopping center($R^2$=.150). Orientation of fashion & beauty life(-), sales promotion, sex, and reasonable consumption had a direct effect on preference of discount store(R =$^2$.109). Sex(-) had an indirect discount store through orientation of fashion & beauty life, and sex(-), search of video media & information, age(-), and reasonable consumption did through sales promotion. Sales promotion, preference of imported & brand goods(-), and store atmosphere(-) had a direct effect on preference of traditional market($R^2$=.060). Sex(-), age(-), search of video media & information, and reasonable consumption had an indirect effect on preference of traditional market through sales promotion, and search of video media & information, reasonal consumption, and acceptance of foreign culture did through store atmosphere.

청소년의 자아개념에 대한 부모-자녀관계와 학교생활 적응간의 상호작용 효과 (Interaction effects of Parent-child Relationship and School Adjustment on adolescent self-concept)

  • This study investigated the relations among parent-child relationship, school adjustment and self-concept in adolescence. In addition, interaction effects of parent-child relationship and school adjustment on adolescent self-concept were examined. The major results of this study were as follows: 1. Parent-child relationship and school adjustment were positively associated with self-esteem. The better parent-child relationships they perceive, the higher self-concept they have. The better school adjustment they experience, the higher self-concept they have. 2. There were interaction effects of parent-child relationships and school adjustment on self-concept. Adolescents whose parent-child relationships were poor had higher self-concept when they adjusted to school well. There were little differences in self-concept as a function of the school adjustment when their parent-child relationships were good. These findings indicate that experience in the family and school domains interact in their associations with adolescent self-concept.

  • 초기 청소년기 자녀를 둔 부모는 사춘기에 대한 지식의 부족, 사춘기 자녀의 사고유형에 대한 이해부족, 그리고 세대차이로 인해 자녀양육에 상당한 문제를 지니고 있다. 본 연구는 부모-자녀간의 관계를 개선하고 그들의 건강한 성장과 발달을 돕기 위한 부모교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 "1315PEP" 프로그램의 구체적인 주제는 부모로서의 자신의 모습 바라보기, 자녀의 세계 이해하기, 인성유형 상호 이해하기, 자녀의 독립과 자율성 격려하기, 훈육기술 익히기, 그리고 문제해결하기 등이다.

여성 소비자의 라이프 스타일과 의복 구매 행동에 관한 연구 - 청년층, 중년층, 노년층을 대상으로 - (A Study on Life Style and Clothing Purchasing Behaviors of Female Consumers - Focused on Comparison with Adolescence, Middle Age, and Senescence -)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate life style and various clothing purchasing behaviors of female consumers, and to analyze the differences of life style and clothing purchasing behaviors by 3 age groups(adolescence, middle age, and senescence). The subjects were 750 adult women aged from twenties to sixties who live in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The research method is a survey and research instruments consisted of life style questionnaire, clothing purchasing behaviors questionnaires, and demographic attribution. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, variance analysis, Duncan's multiple range test and $X^2$ test, using SPSS program. The research results are follows. First, 6 factors were emerged in life style(appearance-oriented, achieve-oriented, social life-oriented, economic- oriented, equality of sexes-oriented, and leisure- oriented). Second, 5 factors were emerged in shopping orientation(resonable shopping, conspicuous shopping, voluptuous shopping, devoted shopping, and convenient shopping). Third, clothing purchasing behaviors of adult women showed many differences by age groups. Adolescence women considered more criterion including design, price, and color or pattern, purchased their clothing by psychological reason such as fashion change, and used internet as important source of clothing, whereas senescence women purchased by physical reason such as body size change and functional trouble, used friend and sales person as important source of clothing, and purchased clothing at department store and old style market.

Money Makes the World go Around: European Youth and Financial Socialization

  • This paper outlines the findings of a consumer survey conducted in 1996 and 2001 by the University of Bonn, Germany, across 15 European countries. The survey involved a sample of 3,300 respondents in 1996 and around 11,000 respondents in 2001, throughout all 15 EU countries. Children and adolescents between the ages of 10 and 17 were surveyed on their consumption habits and their attitudes towards the environment. The paper outlines the key findings on "the process of socialization with money". Children come to appreciate the importance of money even before their first day at school. Even young children know you sometimes need cash to fulfil dreams. But the chance to experiment with money for real only comes when children first receive pocket money, usually from their parents. Later, in adolescence, consumer pressure starts to make an impact and it becomes more difficult to make ends meet. Spare time or holiday jobs help top up pocket money and enable adolescents to keep out of debt. This paper reports on a long term comparative study throughout the European Union among children and adolescents, analysed by country, age group and gender. The paper discusses the places young consumers can turn to in trying to fulfil their growing consumer needs. It also examines how much money is at their disposal. It then concludes by considering the influence of "financial socialization" on how young people deal with money.

소비자의 자아존중감과 소비행동 관련성 연구 : 심리적 가정환경을 중심으로 (Research on the Relations Between Self-Esteem and Consumption Behavior : Mainly On Psychological Family Environment)

  • This research how self-esteem and consumption behavior for adolescent consumers are differentiated different psychological home environment and how the psychological home environment during adolescence self-esteem and consumption behavior. The result of the research as follows. First, when the psychological home environment categorized in 4 subgroups, accomplishment-non-accomplishment zone had average 3 points sense of non-accomplishment. Setting the aspiration level and striving to achieve such level were reviewed to be low. In autonomous-heteronomous, it is thought that with more allowance more responsible for actions and autonomous actions such as respecting personal opinions. Secondly, all 5 sub-groups of the self-esteem level for adolescent consumers showed average of approximately 3 points, a normal standard self-esteem When the overall school score is high self-esteem was also given high points. It can be thought that the school scores provide positive or negative effect on pride, future and surrounding situations. When psychological home environment was deemed positive in the relationship between psychological home environment and self-esteem, evaluation and the faith how other people recognize one were also thought positively. Thirdly, 4 subgroups of the consuming behavior for adolescent consumers had under 3 points for trend pursuit, showing a less severe trend pursuit by adolescents then expected. Consumer behavior for different psychological home environment and self-esteem showed that consumers selected a utility, while trendy and unique consumer behavior was found with middle level of open-closeness when a sense of accomplishment was significant among the psychological home environment.

아동 및 아버지가 지각한 아버지 역할수행이 아동의 사회성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's and Fathers' Perceptions of the Fathering Practice on Children's Sociality)

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the fathering practice on children's sociality. The subjects of this research are 569 (grade 6) students who are from 4 elementary schools, and 511 (grade 3) students who are from 4 other middle schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The data was collected using two kinds of questionnaires: Canfield's (1995) Fathering Practice Scale and Urn Guy-Sung's (1999) Children's Sociality Scale. The data was analyzed by frequency, mean, standard deviation, percentage, Cronbach's alpha, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe's post hoc test, and hierarchical regression. The major results of this research are summarized as follows: First, there were differences in children's sociality according to children's and fathers' perceptions of the fathering practices. I classified 1080 students into 4 groups by mean${\pm}$1/2standard deviation of the children's and fathers' perceptions of the fathering practices. The results showed that children's sociality tends to be higher when the children's perceptions of the fathering practice are at a high level (Group 1 and Group 2), compared to when the fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice are at a high level (Group 3 and Group 4). Second, hierarchical regression was divided into two models so as to know how the effects were different from the children's and fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice on children's sociality. In the first model, only the fathers' variables were inputted and fathers' perceptions on fathering practice has significant effects on children's sociality. In the second model, both the children and fathers' variables were inputted into analysis. The fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice were not influenced, but children's perceptions of the fathering practice had great effects on children's sociality. Third, as the result of hierarchical regression with age, mid-childhood has significant effects on children's perceptions of the fathering practice on children's sociality. In addition, early adolescence is an important variable in the effects of the fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice on children's sociality. As a result the fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice are important and influential variables on children's sociality. In the result of this study fathering practice is necessary in children's development.

청소년기의 부모감독 변화에 대한 부모애착의 효과 (Effects of Adolescents' Attachment to Their Parents on the Longitudinal Changes in Parental Monitoring)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine: (1) whether the level of parental monitoring changes during adolescence; (2) if it changes, what is the pattern of the change; and (3) whether the effects of adolescents' attachment to their parents on parental monitoring are dependent on time. Six waves of data from the Korea Youth Panel Study (KYPS) were used to address the research questions. The participants of the KYPS were 3,449 (1,725 boys and 1,724 girls) adolescents who participated in the study once a year for 6 years (from the 2nd grade in middle school until their high school graduation). Latent growth modeling (LGM) was used to analyze the data. The findings are as follows: the level of parental monitoring significantly increased over the six waves of the study, and the adolescents' attachment to their parents was a time-dependent predictor of parental monitoring. The results indicate that the quality of adolescents' attachment to their parents is an important factor that makes a difference in the level of parental monitoring by, possibly, affecting the level of adolescents' disclosure to their parents.
