We study the approximation of the solution of linear stochastic evolution equations driven by infinite-dimensional fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H > 1/2 through discretization of space and time. The rate of convergence of an approximation for Euler scheme is established.

The purpose of this study was to find relationship of satisfaction factors between franchisor and franchisee, and to examine the effects on satisfaction with franchisee in foodservice industry. Through the prior study, instrumental and relational factors were adapted as independent variables, and satisfaction variables were selected as dependent variables. The survey was administered to 346 franchisor possessing over 30 franchisees at Dae-gu metropolitan area, and analyzed by SPSS 10.0. The results of analysis were examined through the multiple regression analysis.

RUSLE was applied to estimate annual soil loss from two small agricultural watersheds in Kangwon-do, Korea. GIS input parameters were prepared by using DEMs and soil maps prepared by the NGIS project and Rural Development Adminstration, respoctively. RUSLE parameters were prepared based on existing data and equations. Estimated annual soil loss was graphically presented to easily visualize the large soil loss area. Uplands and vineyards proved to be the two greatest sources for soil erosion. It was suggested to develop effective management practices to reduce the soil erosion from uplands and vineyards.

HJM representation of the term structure of interest rates sometimes produces the negative interest rates with positive probability. This paper shows that the condition of positive interest rates can be derived from the jump diffusion process, if a proper positive martingale process with the compensated jump process is chosen. As in Flesaker and Hughston, the condition is incorporated into the bond price process.

Chronic adminstraction of morphine to adult male rats has long been known to lower hepatic cytochrome p-450 content and its dependent mixed-function oxidase activity. Following the treatment of adult male rats with morphine, pethidine pentazocine and codeine and also by concomitant adminstration of naloxone activities of microsomal electron transfer in the adult male rats were examined. In present study, the acute treatment of mature male rats with a dose of narcotic drugs higher than that used chronically also reduces their hepatic cytochrome p-450.

This study was performed to investigate the effects of adenosine on the development of tolerance to and physical dependence on morphine. Repeated adminstration of morphine developed tolerance and physical dependence. Adenosine (1, 2 and 4 mg $kg^{-1}$ i.p.) was administered intraperitoneally to mice for 7 days once a day 30 minutes prior to the morphine (10 mg $kg^{-1}$ s.c.). (omitted)

Abstract - Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine smoking status and the relates factors in the rural elderly. Methods: This study was conducted with 2,421 elderly people(male 1,273 and female 1,148) residing in the selected 25 villages, and face-to-face interviews with the subjects were made from January 1 through March 30, 2002. Results: The average age of the male subjects was 72.7 and that of the female subjects 72.8. The investigation of smoking states showed that for male subjects, smokers accounted for 49.4%, nonsmokers 26.9%, and abstainers from smoking 23.7% and that for female subjects, smokers accounted for 18.3%, nonsmokers 75.4%, and abstainers from smoking 6.3%. The level of ?low ADL? was significantly higher in abstainers. In men, smoking rate had higher in alone, non-job, queerstreet, 「high ADL」. In women, smoking rate had higher in younger age, queerstreet, unhealthy, 「high ADL」. Conclusions: The smoking rate of the elderly was relatively high, especially at abstainers. The smoking status of elderly was correlated with age, family type, job, economic status by self-assessment, Self-recognition of health status, ADL level.
