전라북도 6급 교육행정공무원 장기교육프로그램 개발 (Development of Long-term Education Program for Jeollabukdo Level 6 Educational Administrative Officials)

  • 지방교육자치는 지역 주민의 삶에 대한 질을 높이고 지역 특성에 맞도록 교육 실현과 함께 지방 교육행정공무원의 역량 강화를 요구하고 있다. 이 연구는 지방 교육행정공무원의 중심 역할을 해야 하는 6급 공무원의 역량을 도출하고 장기교육프로그램의 교과군과 교과목을 구안하여 추후 6급 교육행정공무원 장기교육프로그램을 개발·운영할 수 있도록 기초 안을 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연수 대상의 특수성을 고려해 교육행정공무원, 교육프로그램 개발 전문가 등 20명으로 전문가 패널을 구성하고, 6급 교육행정공무원의 역량, 장기교육프로그램의 교과군과 교과목에 대한 의견을 구하기 위해 3차에 걸쳐 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 6급 교육행정공무원의 역량은 델파이 1차 조사에서 기초자료의 타당도 평가와 델파이 2차 조사에서 수정 자료의 타당도 평가를 실시하였다. 그리고 6급 교육행정공무원 장기교육프로그램의 교과군과 교과목은 델파이 2차 조사와 델파이 3차 조사에서 수정 자료의 타당도 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 6급 교육행정공무원의 역량은 조정통합역량을 포함하여 9개의 역량으로 추출되었고 6급 교육행정공무원 장기교육프로그램은 13개 교과군과 43개 교과목으로 구안할 수 있었다. 그리고 6급 교육행정공무원의 역량과 장기교육프로그램의 교과군과 교과목의 관계 모형을 도출하였다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 장기교육프로그램의 유연한 교육과정 운영과 연수 결과물을 실제 교육현장에 반영할 수 있는 시스템 구축의 필요성을 제안하였다.

  • The importance of Entrepreneurship has been widely acknowledged by researchers and practitioners worldwide, however, the idea of Social Entrepreneurship is still considered to be an emerging area. Entrepreneurship is vital not only because of its economic impacts but also because it helps to address issues of poverty and welfare, where it can act as a catalyst for change. The importance of social entrepreneurship is that it serves to turn a profit and find success while helping others throughout the world. They know the power of social enterprise and are eager to serve the societal and economic benefits. This study aims to identify the level of orientation of youth towards social entrepreneurship in Pakistan. The study identifies the role of various factors that affect Social Entrepreneurial Orientation and is conducted following a quantitative research strategy and survey research design where data is collected from 302 individuals. Structural Equation Modelling was used to analyze the data and to test the hypotheses. The main finding of this research is that there is an increasing trend in the orientation towards social entrepreneurship. The exogenous variables namely Perceived Educational Support, Perceived Structural Support, and Perceived Relational Support were found to have positive and significant effects on the endogenous construct of Social Entrepreneurial Orientation.

Relationship Between Corporate Social Responsibility Expenditures and Performance in Jordanian Commercial Banks

  • This study aims to examine the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) expenditures and both financial and non-financial performance of Jordanian commercial banks during the period 2008-2018. To measure the variables of interest, secondary data published on Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) website were processed to become preliminary data suitable for the nature of the study. The study sample amounted to 13 commercial banks, which represent all Jordanian commercial banks listed on ASE.. The study found that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between CSR expenditures and financial performance, as the study showed that the return on equity (ROE) has a positive and significant relationship with CSR expenditure, while the return on assets (ROA) and Tobin's Q model have a statistically significant negative relationship with CSR expenditure, while the market stock price (MSP) had a positive, but not statistically significant. The study also found that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between CSR expenditures and non-financial performance, which was represented by total deposits and total training expenditures in Jordanian commercial banks. Accordingly, the study recommends encouraging banks to prepare sustainability reports and CSR reports, which are considered comprehensive, and not only with disclosures within the annual reports.

The Effects of Market Sensing Capability and Information Technology Competency on Innovation and Competitive Advantage

  • This study examined the effect of market sensing capability and information technology competency (IT competency) on innovation and competitive advantage in small and medium-sized tour operators (SMTOs). This research was conducted on the SMTOs located in three major cities for a tourism destination, meeting, and exhibition in East Java, Indonesia. 175 directors or managers of SMTOs were sampled using the purposive sampling technique. Data was obtained from directors or managers using a structured questionnaire. The empirical data was then analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study showed that market sensing capability positively and significantly affects innovation. Furthermore, competitive advantage was positively and significantly affected by market sensing capability. Although results showed that IT competence positively and significantly affects innovation, in contrast, it did not positively and significantly affect competitive advantage. These research findings suggest that market sensing capability and innovation have a substantial role in creating a competitive advantage for SMTOs facing the Revolution Industry 4.0 and a dynamic environment. Thus, innovation for SMTOs can be achieved by optimizing the role of market sensing capability and IT competency. However, this study also suggests that the capability or competence will not have any impact on competitive advantage if neither is optimized.

The Effect of Branding Capability on Business Performance: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • This study examined the effect of branding capability on business performance moderated by learning capability. This study was conducted with small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of coffee cafes in the ex-Besuki region, East Java, Indonesia, covering four regencies located around coffee-producing areas with geographical indication (GI) certification. 150 managers of coffee cafe were sampled using the census technique. Data were collected by questionnaires distributed to the coffee cafe managers. The data were then analyzed by using simple regression analysis, Moderation Regression Analysis (MRA) and Moderated MultiGroup Analysis (MMA). The results showed that learning capability positively and significantly affect business performance, and learning capability moderated/enhanced the effect of branding capability on business performance. The findings of this study suggest that branding capability and learning capability play a crucial role in the performance of coffee cafe business especially in the dynamic environment. Coffee cafe managers need to take concrete steps to improve their branding capability and learning capability and they also need to improve their ability to interact with their environment and be committed in managing the coffee cafe. Therefore, it is imperative that the role of branding capability and learning capability be optimized in order to improve the business performance of the coffee cafe.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of customer value and customer trust as a mediator of flexibility influence on customer retention. The study applies SEM tools with WarpPLS analysis and translates customer value and customer trust as mediation. This study was organized into three parts: exploratory research, descriptive research, and explanatory research. The quantitative approach in this study uses a survey method by taking samples from the population. This is a latent variable that is measured using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents. This research was conducted at PT. Nusa Prima Logistics Terminal Teluk Lamong by taking primary data, in the form of assessments or perceptions from respondents, so a survey was conducted by submitting a questionnaire directly to 194 respondents. Quantitative data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to answer the research hypothesis. Flexibility is very influential in increasing customer retention so to develop customer retention, it is necessary to increase flexibility, customer value, and customer trust. The novelty in this research lies in identifying the role and position of customer value and customer trust as mediation that affect customer retention.

초등학교 교직원의 COVID-19 감염예방행위 실천에 영향을 미치는 요인: 직종과 COVID-19 관련 지식을 중심으로 (Factors Affecting the Practice of COVID-19 Prevention of Elementary School Staff: Focusing on Occupational Types and COVID-19 related Knowledge)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors affecting COVID-19 infection prevention behaviors among teachers and administrative staff of elementary schools. Methods: A total of 204 participants, who were elementary school teachers and administrative staff, completed a pack of self-report questionnaires. The variables were COVID-19-related knowledge and COVID-19 infection prevention behaviors. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, 𝑥2, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results: The participants' COVID-19-related knowledge was 3.67±0.85 and their COVID-19 prevention behaviors were 4.60±0.36. COVID-19 prevention behaviors had a positive relationship (r=.15, p=.031) with COVID-19-related knowledge. Factors affecting COVID-19 prevention behaviors were occupation (administrative staff), age, sex (male), COVID-19-related knowledge, and subjective health (good). Conclusion: It is expected that findings of the study will be used as essential data for developing strategies promoting school health. Considering the results, there is a need to create effective interventions that can increase COVID-19 infection prevention behaviors and COVID-19-related knowledge of teachers and administrative staff of elementary schools.

The Impact of Ambidextrous Innovation on the Performance and Competitiveness of Start-up Companies: An Empirical Study from Indonesia

  • Established and new companies face similar business challenges in achieving performance and competitiveness. Furthermore, several empirical studies using competitive advantage resource-based view theory show that established companies achieve performance and competitiveness with breakthrough innovations. Similarly, new business ventures with limited resources must incorporate breakthrough innovations to achieve performance and competitiveness. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the impact of ambidextrous innovation on new venture performance and competitiveness. It used an online survey to collect data from 178 newly established shipping agency companies in 22 provinces in Indonesia. Data was analyzed using multivariate analysis with WarpPLS 7.0, where the analysis unit was an organization represented by a director. The results showed that ambidextrous innovation positively and significantly affects firm performance and new venture competitiveness. This means that ambidextrous innovation that emphasizes adaptation and development improves the firm's internal business processes, even with limited resources. Moreover, it increases new ventures' competitiveness in responding to threats and taking advantage of market opportunities. These results contribute to the competitive advantage resource-based view theory, specifically for new venture empirical examination. Also, they contribute to practical implications in the transportation business, demonstrating that exploitative breakthrough innovation can improve new venture competitiveness and performance.

Methane and Nitrous Oxide Emissions from Livestock Agriculture in 16 Local Administrative Districts of Korea

  • This study was conducted to evaluate methane ($CH_4$) and nitrous oxide ($N_2O$) emissions from livestock agriculture in 16 local administrative districts of Korea from 1990 to 2030. National Inventory Report used 3 yr averaged livestock population but this study used 1 yr livestock population to find yearly emission fluctuations. Extrapolation of the livestock population from 1990 to 2009 was used to forecast future livestock population from 2010 to 2030. Past (yr 1990 to 2009) and forecasted (yr 2010 to 2030) averaged enteric $CH_4$ emissions and $CH_4$ and $N_2O$ emissions from manure treatment were estimated. In the section of enteric fermentation, forecasted average $CH_4$ emissions from 16 local administrative districts were estimated to increase by 4%-114% compared to that of the past except for Daejeon (-63%), Seoul (-36%) and Gyeonggi (-7%). As for manure treatment, forecasted average $CH_4$ emissions from the 16 local administrative districts were estimated to increase by 3%-124% compared to past average except for Daejeon (-77%), Busan (-60%), Gwangju (-48%) and Seoul (-8%). For manure treatment, forecasted average $N_2O$ emissions from the 16 local administrative districts were estimated to increase by 10%-153% compared to past average $CH_4$ emissions except for Daejeon (-60%), Seoul (-4.0%), and Gwangju (-0.2%). With the carbon dioxide equivalent emissions ($CO_2$-Eq), forecasted average $CO_2$-Eq from the 16 local administrative districts were estimated to increase by 31%-120% compared to past average $CH_4$ emissions except Daejeon (-65%), Seoul (-24%), Busan (-18%), Gwangju (-8%) and Gyeonggi (-1%). The decreased $CO_2$-Eq from 5 local administrative districts was only 34 kt, which was insignificantly small compared to increase of 2,809 kt from other 11 local administrative districts. Annual growth rates of enteric $CH_4$ emissions, $CH_4$ and $N_2O$ emissions from manure management in Korea from 1990 to 2009 were 1.7%, 2.6%, and 3.2%, respectively. The annual growth rate of total $CO_2$-Eq was 2.2%. Efforts by the local administrative offices to improve the accuracy of activity data are essential to improve GHG inventories. Direct measurements of GHG emissions from enteric fermentation and manure treatment systems will further enhance the accuracy of the GHG data.

머신러닝 기반 KOSDAQ 시장의 관리종목 지정 예측 연구: 재무적 데이터를 중심으로 (Study on Predicting the Designation of Administrative Issue in the KOSDAQ Market Based on Machine Learning Based on Financial Data)

  • 본 연구는 다양한 머신러닝 기법을 통해 코스닥(KOSDAQ) 시장 내 관리종목 지정을 예측할 수 있는 모델에 대해 연구하였다. 증권시장 내 기업이 관리종목으로 지정이 되면 시장에서는 이를 부정적인 정보로 인식하여 해당 기업과 투자자에게 손실을 가져오게 된다. 본 연구를 통해 기업의 재무적 데이터를 바탕으로 조기에 관리종목 지정을 예측하고, 투자자들의 포트폴리오 리스크 관리에 도움을 주기 위한 머신러닝 접근이 타당한지 살펴본다. 본 연구를 위해 활용한 독립변수는 수익성, 안정성, 활동성, 성장성을 나타내는 21개의 재무비율을 활용하였으며, K-IFRS가 적용된 2011년부터 2020년까지 관리종목과 비관리종목의 기업의 재무 데이터를 표본으로 추출하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석, 의사결정나무, 서포트 벡터 머신, 랜덤 포레스트, LightGBM을 활용하여 관리종목 지정 예측 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과는 분류 정확도가 82.73%인 LightGBM이 가장 우수한 예측 모형이었으며 분류 정확도가 가장 낮은 예측 모형은 정확도가 71.94%인 의사결정나무였다. 의사결정나무 기반 학습 모형의 변수 중요도의 상위 3개 변수를 확인한 결과 각 모형에서 공통적으로 나온 재무변수는 ROE(당기순이익), 자본금회전율(Capital stock turnover ratio)로 해당 재무변수가 관리종목 지정에 있어 상대적으로 중요한 변수임을 확인하였다. 대체적으로 앙상블을 이용한 학습 모형이 단일 학습 모형보다 예측 성능이 높은 것을 확인하였다. 기존 선행연구가 K-IFRS에 대한 고려를 하지 않았고, 다소 제한된 머신러닝에 의존하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 필요성과 함께 현실적 요구를 충족시키는 결과를 제시하였음을 알 수 있으며, 시장참여자들에게 있어 관리종목 지정에 대한 사전 예측을 확인할 수 있도록 기여했다고 볼 수 있다.
