급속응고법으로 제조한 과공정 Al-Si합금분말 압출재의 마멸특성 (Wear Characteristics of the Extruded Bars of Hypereutectic Al-Si Alloy Powders produced by Rapid Solidification Process)

  • Wear resistance and wear mechanism of hypereutectic Al-($15{\sim}40$)wt%Si alloys were investigated. Primary Si particles under $20{\mu}m$ size were formed in hypereutectic Al-Si alloy powders due to rapid solidification. But the Si particles of extruded bars were finely distributed in smaller size than that of atomized powders. The wear mechanism of hypereutectic Al-Si alloys was divided into three types of wear phenomena, which were abrasive wear, delamination wear and severe adhesive wear according to sliding speed and load. At low sliding speed and load, wear mechanism was abrasive wear, so Al-15wt%Si alloy showed the best wear resistance. At high sliding speed and load, wear mechanism was adhesive wear, and Al-40wt%Si alloy showed the best wear resistance.

  • Recently, environmental pollution and global warming and greenhouse gases are increasing, because Efforts to improve are continued throughout the world. As part of the resource recycling industry has become an important research area. In the field of waterproofing industry, focus on the resource recycling is growing, due to serious resource depletion and sharp price. Therefore, in this research on the resource recycling such as reclaimed rubber and rubber waste is enable and these eco-friendly materials are applied high adhesive flexible non-exposed type self adhesion compound waterproofing material was measured eco-friendly performance and field application was evaluated.

  • 구조용 접착제는 알루미늄이나 복합재료 같은 가벼운 재질의 접합에 적용함으로써 자동차의 경량화를 이루어 연비 및 승차감등 성능향상에 큰 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 자동차와 같이 충돌환경에 노출이 되어있는 기계 구조물에 접착제를 적용하기 위해서는 접착제의 충격특성에 관한 연구가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 pin-ring 타입의 접착조인트를 이용하여 접착제의 전단 충격특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였으며, 충돌해석을 하기 위해 LS-DYNA를 사용하였다.

  • The research on anticorrosive of valve for ship, waterworks, and drainage system is very important. The purpose of this paper is to develop the metal/polyurethan adhesive technique at insider of the value to prevent corrosion in the value. It is performed to the bending strength test by using metal /polyurethan in the metals (SB41, Al6061). It is investigated to the effects of bending strength on curing temperature, preheating time and curing time, and to the fracture mechanism of metal/polyurethan adhensived specimen. As a results, we find that the bending strength is the highest at curing temperature of 11$0^{\circ}C$ and the curing time is 60 minutes in metal/polyurethan adhesive specimen.

  • For the artistic column used by Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic(GFRP), the connection of steel with GFRP were needed. Due to the fabricating characteristics of hand laminating, GFRP surfaces had to be connected. Because there were no existed data of these connection, experimental study has to be followed so that the structural strength and buckling mode could be investigated. In this paper, therefore, the axial tests of steel with GFRP were performed. The connection of GFRP's surfaces could be also tested as well. As a result, it could be figured out that the strength of these connections were determined by the adhesive strength.

  • In this study, the objective of this study was to evaluate the adhesive characteristics of existing self-adhesive rubber asphalt sheet, butyl sheet and acrylate sheet in a low temperature environment through Tack Rolling Ball Test to obtain basic data on acrylate. As a result of this experiment, in the case of the self-molding rubber asphalt sheet and the butyl rubber sheet, the compound of the sheet was frozen in the low temperature environment and the iron bead was separated. On the other hand, the acrylate sheet did not freeze the acrylate even at 0 ℃, It is confirmed that the measured value is shown by Ball Test.

Bond between FRP formworks and concrete-effect of surface treatments and adhesives

  • FRP stay-in-place (SIP) formworks are designed as a support for casting concrete and as a tension reinforcement when concrete is cured. Bond development between SIP formwork and concrete is critical for FRP tension element to be effective. This paper reports the bond strength between FRP formwork and concrete for different interfacial treatments. A novel experimental setup is prepared for observing the bond behaviour. Three different adhesives with varying workability have been investigated. Along with the load-deformation characteristics, bond slip and strains in the formwork have been measured. A finite element numerical simulation was conducted for the experiments to understand the underlying mechanism. The results show that the adhesive bonding has the best bond strength.

밀봉재를 이용한 적외선 렌즈 마운팅 분석 (Analysis of IR lens mounting with elastomer)

  • 밀봉재를 사용하는 적외선 렌즈 마운트를 분석하고, 3-5$\mu\textrm{m}$에서 작동하는 전방 관측 적외선 열상장비의 대물렌즈인 직경 117mm의 Si 렌즈 마운팅 설계에 적용하였다. 밀봉재료는 Dow Corning 사의 heat cure 타입인 577 primerless Silicone Adhesive(MIL-PRF-23586F)을 이용하였으며, 마운트 재질로는 Al 6061을 사웅하였다. 이론적으로 렌즈와 마운트간의 간격은 -40~+6$0^{\circ}C$의 적용 온도환경에 대하여 250$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이상이 되어야 함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The brake systems of high-speed train are to be equipped with three different brake systems, such as regenerative brake with regenerative feedback in driving car, a pneumatic disc brake, and non-contact linear eddy-current brake(ECB). The regenerative brake and the pneumatic disc brake are acting on the wheels. Their achievable braking force depends on the adhesive coefficient, which is influenced by the weather condition and speed, between the wheel and The linear eddy current brake gets an economical solution in the high-speed train because of the independence of the adhesive coefficient, no maintenance needed. and the good control characteristics. The braking force and the normal force of ECB for korean high-speed train are analysed by the 2D FEM(Finite Element Method). Finally the normal force is compared with the experiential values to verify the analysis.

외부접합공법의 내진보강효과에 미치는 접합부의 영향 (Influence of Joint on Retrofitting Effect by Exterior Steel Frames of Existing RC Buildings)

  • In this paper, Nonlinear Static Pushover analysis method(NSP) is proposed which apply to RC buildings reinforced by external retrofit for seismic performance. Based on previous analysis and research, NSP is more developed by connection nonlinearity according to shear resistance mechanism such as dowel and adhesive resistance as major shear resistance elements. According to the proposed method, structural analysis for example buildings was carried out to evaluate seismic performance of buildings. And, it was confirmed that depending on shear strain and characteristics of joint resistant of external retrofitting are different from internal retrofitting. Furthermore, the strength reduction coefficient of the anchor needs to be considered at the joint design.
